*Spring had come when his children were born and placed within their woven homes. The baskets thenselves panted in very elegant colors and designs. He adored them both as they were placed beside his mate. He now laid near her, feeling tired from his watch, he never slept a wink while his mate was giving life to their young and he was starting to feel the hours as he closed his eyes to rest them. His ears remained alert as always. Laying his head down on the ground, Shihab soon drifted off onto an uneasy slumber, he knew that everything would be alright, but... There was no telling what could happen while he was sleeping...
*A small basket that was colored much like its momma wobbled a little beside its sibling's basket. It seemed that the new born wanted out already, but it was far from time to come out. Settling down a little, the foal poked its nose against the inside of the basket trying to force its way out. It wanted to see the outside world, not be cooped up inside. It was almost too much to take for the young mind. Feeling all it could do was sleep, it did so, dreaming of what it would find outseide the basket.*

  Adelle nuzzled the baskets in which her newly born children were placed in. As tired as she was she felt she needed the time to herself to think about things. Plus it was her turn to watch over things as she looked over at Shihab whom was fast asleep. Oh Shihab you should really get a nice sleep. You deserve it. She stretched out a wing and stroked Shihab gently hoping that it'll help him fall into a restful sleep. She also placed her other wing over top of the two baskets to keep them close and warm.Life stirred in the dark colored basket as it felt a gentle vibration of it's mother wing as it laid ontop of it's new home. This woven home was very cozy and it would remain content glad for the coziness and warmth.

*Shihab shifted to pull himself closer to Adelle, like a foal would its mother under such comfort. He drifted off to a deeper sleep then intended, his mind feeling that Adelle would wake him if something were to happen. For not he would dream of dancing in the skies with his love and children. Never turning one away, how he would always have one of the best families around... Though... Something did trouble his sleep, feeling that one of them was going to be a hoof full and he didn't know which... It was just a feeling anyways and they were often misleading.*
*The silvery colored basket shivered a little, vibrating under its mother's wing as it lay there. The foal inside 'cooing' gently while shifting within its woven enclosure. One that the human had been making not too long ago... The young foal, its father had deemed Andre wiggled all antsy like waiting to feel the true warmth of its mother against his skin, instead of having a wall between them.*

Adelle watched over the baskets and Shihab as he slept. She would stroke him gently with her wing every so often as the hours passed so he would hopefully be comforted by it. If he was she didn't know but she liked to think that it was comforting. A quiet yawn escaped her mouth as she watched over them but she refused to sleep. She would not allow herself to sleep. Though in her mind she was much to happy to sleep even if the sleep tried to win it wouldn't. She wanted to stay up as long as she could with her children even though they were most likely sleeping in their baskets.
Steady breathing could be heard inside the dark basket which only meant the one inside was sleeping. It was happy to be warm and cozy in it's woven home. Though when it's mother yawned it woke up and tried to poke it's nose through the small holes in the basket to see what was wrong.

*It seemed like the day had flew past as Shihab slowly woke just past noon. Shaking his head a little as a yawn came from him. Stretching his neck a little he looked over toward his mate and nuzzled against her. Deep down feeling that he had slept too long and all that jazz. Stretching his wings from where he lay he laid a wing across her back and out stretched over her wing that covered their strengthening brood.*
"Good afternoon my love. Sorry for sleeping so long." He apologized bowing his head a little "I didn't really mean to. I guess my all night watchs wears at the body."
*Chuckling a little he looked about their willow home. Shifting a little he remained laying beside his love. Not daring to move from the spot, though he did want to place himself on the other side of the baskets to place then in between himself and his mate. Thinking the combined heat would keep them safe from all directions.*
*The white/silver and multicolored basket shifted to snuggle up close to its mother. Not minding of its subling and would bump it out of the way to remain closest to their mother. It seemed that Andre was one of those that wanted everything to itself in a way...*

"Good afternoon to you my dear." Adelle smiled as she watched Shihab wake up. "It's perfectly fine for you to have slept as long as you did. No more night watches for you though." She laughed quietly as she nuzzled him gently. A yawn escaped her once more but she shook her head gently before looking back at Shihab. "Did you sleep well though?"
Feeling it being nudged out of the way by it's sibling a snort could be heard from inside the dark colored basket. It pushed up against it's sibling basket it to keep it from taking it's spot. This was one protective basket.

*Shihab had to chuckle and agree to it. It was getting tiresome staying up all night watching over his grownig famly, but something he felt he had to do none the less. Nuzzling up against his mate he looked at teh baskets the seemed to be fighting over who got what spot near mother and who didn't.* "Looks like they have a case of sibling rivalry already." *He chuckled watching the baskets for another moment before looking about again, his ears turning as if he heard something... Though he could tell that whatever it was was friend, by just the laid back pace...* "Dearst, seems we have company." *He whispered looking over toward where a certain gold and white feline drew herself closer to them.
*Andre toppled a little as it's sibling pushed back against it. Slipping away from its sibling, Andre moved to another spot where it could be close to mother and not bang against its sibling. But if it weren't for the weaving between them, it would have wrestled with its sibling. That would have been for sure.*
*Stepping out of the bushs toward the pair she had come to care about, Dao looked at the 'fighting' baskets. A 'giggle' came from her as she sat not too close to the parents. Though she had a feeling that they might not mind her being around.* "I came over to see what the noise was about and I find waring baskets." *She giggled* "I guess the sibling rivalry starts young, in this case at basket stage to see who gets closer to momma."

Adelle laughed as she watched the two baskets 'fight' to be by her side. 'Perhaps one of them should want to be next to you dear. I really don't see why they should fight over being next to me.' she laughed again before looking over at their company. 'Hello Dao. It's nice to see you.' she nodded the the golden cat that she had come to like.
A snort could be heard from inside the basket as if it was saying 'I won. You lose.'

*Time seemed to leap frog itself forward as the two youngsters grew and everything happy like that. It would soon be the day when both would first break out of their woven enclosures and take on the world as they know it.*
*the sun was warm upon his basket cover as he stretched the top popped off letting the first straight rays inside, lighting up the silvery and multi colored colt that still lay inside. Wings stretching upwards, the colt soon struggled against the confines of the basket. Toppling over he tumbled out and rolled along the grass that tickled his nose as she lay on his side. Gold eyes closing as the sun shown in them a wing mover the try and cover his eyes.* "Sun, bright. too bright' he squeaked staggering to get to his hooves, only to tumbled the other way bumping against his mother...*
*Eyes closing tightly and ears twitching a little, Shihab opened his eyes to notice that one of his first born was already trying to stand and walk. Lifting his head off the ground he chuckled as he watched young Andre bump into Adelle. Reaching over he nudged his son, before looking at teh other basket, wondering as to what would be revealing itself from that one... But for now he was happy to see his son, it woudl be fun watching him and his sibling grow up.*

Hearing her sibling moving about and it sounded like he was getting out of his basket. She felt that it wasn't fair he was getting out before her so she started to push up against the top of the basket but it wouldn't budge. Pushing up harder she tried to push the lid off but it still refused to even move just a tiny bit. So she tried hopping around to maybe loosen it and it must of looked like such a sight to watch a basket hopping around as she was. Finally after a few minutes of hopping the lid popped off and she tumbled out quite hard.
Adelle laughed as she felt her son bump against her. This was one of the happiest moments of her life. Seeing her little ones come out of their baskets and being able to actually see them for the first time. 'Why hello there.' she said gently with a smile as she looked down at her son before looking over to the hopping basket which soon tumbled out her other child. 'Oh Shihab look at her. She looks just like you almost.' She said happily to Shihab after seeing her daughter.

*Shihab chuckled as he watched their son before looking over toward their daughter that had finally got herself out of her basket. Standing he walked over to her and nudge the little black and star streaked filly, trying to help her back to her hooves.* "Yes she does and little Andre there looks like you dearest." He chuckled watching the silvery colored colt standing beside his mother.
*Standing again he wobbled before stretching out his tri-colored wings to try and steady himself. Shaking his head he smiled as he was up, but after taking a few steps ended up back on the ground beside Adelle. The look of determination upon his face he oped to get back up and keep trying, even if his second attempt landed him on the other side of Adelle and on his back, legs folded close to his belly.*

With the help of her father Del stood on all fours. She wobbled a bit but was able to manage to stay up. Looking up at Shihab she smiled and stretched out her wings but it caused her to become unbalanced and she landed on her bum. Shaking her head she sat there a few seconds trying to figure out what went wrong before attempting to stand up on her own once more.
Adelle smiled as she watched Andre try to walk. 'He does look like me doesn't he?' she stood up careful to not step on Andre and pushed him back up after his second attempt. 'Oh Shihab they are both so adorable.' She walked over to where Shihab and her daughter stood and she nuzzled her daughter gently before nuzzling Shihab. 'What do you think about the name Del'nal for our daughter?' she asked quietly as she watched her children.

*With the help of his mother, Andre got back up upon his hooves and just stood there for a moment. He watched mother walk over toward Father and sister. Smiling he turning and tried to walk over, but ended up stumbling and coming to sit beside his sister after possibly bumping into her. Turning his head he smiled and nipped at her mane playfully as he stretching out his multi colored wings a bit.*
Shihab chuckled at his children as he stepped over to be beside Adelle nodding to her name for the little filly.* "Sounds like a wonderful name for her." he agreed to only laugh as Andre bumped into his sister and sat there watching them. "S lively couple it appears, And they will make great fliers just like their mother." Smiles at Adelle nuzzling against her a bit.

'Hey!' Del yelled as she once more ended up on the ground. Being bumped into was not her idea of fun and so she pinned her ears back as if to show him that she wasn't happy with him. She got back up on all fours once again and managed to stay standing and stood without wobbling as much. Taking a tenative step foward and then another she stopped when she felt like she would lose her balance but finally reached the other side of her mother.
Adelle blushed at what Shihab said and couldn't help but look away for a few moments. 'I only learned to fly from the best though. You'll be the one to teach them to fly in the sky as I don't make a very good teacher and I'm still not that good at it.' she said as she watched Del stand and start walking. Once Del had reached her she couldn't help but smile. 'Looks like we'll have our hands full once they get used to walking and then running.'

"Hey to you too sissy" He said smiling at Del as she was angry with him, but he couldn't help it. *Pulling himself back to his hooves once more he turned to follow Del toward their parents, when he came up behind Del he tugged at her tail playfully.*
Chuckling, Shihab shook his head a little watching the two youngsters, his own wings opening a bit stretching the muscles that had been going numb from not being used lately.* "Wait until they learn to fly and then, that will be where the fun begins." He chuckled "When the skies the limit, there's no telling how much trouble they can get into when they are able to fly. But for now, lets only relish in the lives of your children and bring them up as we know best. Right?" he said looking at Adelle for the moment and back to Del and Andre.
