Lovey lifted her nose and breathed as deeply as she could. The purple of her nostrils swelling up with the scent of spring. A delighted smile curved her lips and she breathed out slowly. Letting out the feeling of couped up that winter had instilled and also the air she couldn't hold for a second longer, "Oh yes.. Spring HAS sprung!" She giggled and began to pranced towards a nearby creek. The weather was fine outside indeed, the birds made their music a sweet soft melody that accompanied the whoosh and whurl of the wind. "Today certainly is lovely outside." She ignored feeling her hooves sinking into the dirt, it may be spring but the effect of melting snow still made the light lilac purple feathers around her hooves a bit ... browned.
She shrugged it off and continued prancing, her legs lifted high up in round circles. Her purple and blue streaked mane flew behind her in a banner. She was proud of that banner even if at times he made life a bit harder for her. "I wonder what fun and games I'll run into today.." Lovey had finally started to settle into this land and no longer felt like a bit of a confused outcast. She had wandered into a few... undesirable lands and many7 more gorgeous ones. The trouble was since they had been ocvered in white at the time she probably would forget most of them!
High-stepping Lovey darted her gaze left and right, slowing to stop and take a drink.

Jazz sighed and drew in a deep breath of fresh Spring air. It truely was a day to be out and about. His step was high today since the big red stallion was in such a good mood, plus the ground was still squishy from the melting snow. But he took no notice to the mud as it was a petty thing to think about on such a beautiful day.
As the birds sang thier song of Spring, the stallion picked up his pace to a trot and went following a creek he had come to in the forest.

Lovey dipped her nose into the icey clean water and smilled a bit even as she tried to suck up the water, "oh!" She could only take careful mouthfuls as the water was VERY cold and she had always been just a bit sensitive to coldness. She smiled and drank again and again, taking her time and savoring.
Someone was approaching, she could hear the soggy Sperr-plunk! of each footstep.. Hm.. maybe a .. stallion? for how far apart the strides were.. She would just have to see

Jazz continued his high-stepped trot and began to hum to himself. It was a simple tune that his mother use to sing to him when he was a young colt. It seemed like the perfect thing to be humming on such a day as today.
Coming closer to the creek, he stopped for a moment and looked into the cool water and smiled at his reflection. "Why hello there! Lovely day isn't?" he said to his reflection cheerfully, not really paying much attention to if anyone was around or not.

Lovey began to bob her head to a tune that someone was humming. It was a pretty song and she was so engrossed in listening to it that she didn't even realize that meant someone was coming her way.
She stood up, stiff and straight and looked down the stream a bit. A big stallion was .. talking? to himself in the reflection he saw in the water. That made her grin and even feel a bit cheeky, "Why yes it is a Lovely day outside. Thank you for asking!"

Jazz smiled and was about to answer back before realizing that someone had answered him and caught him talking to himself. His head quickly rose and he looked around, a bit embarrassed at being caught. "Umm...you're welcome?" he said sheepishly at seeing a white mare not too far down the creek.

Lovey chuckled lightly and winked at him, she was in a light mood so why not be herself and happy? She began to move towards the stallion since shouting didn't appeal to either her ears or her vocal cords, "Hello there..." She stood facing him on the opposite side of the creek, looking at him curiously.

Jazz blushed though it was hard to see on the red stallion. He hadn'ty expected there was someone else there, nor that it was a mare. But that had it's good side, since if it was another stallion he would have surely been made fun of. "Hello, there...um, you don't think I am crazy do you?" he asked rather bluntly, there was no need to try and hide that he had been talking to himself.

Lovey chuckled and moved a bit closer, looking at the red stallion in curiousity. She gave him a mock examination as if she was testing to see if he was really crazy or not. "Nah... if you have the sense to ask if you're crazy or if you're not.. then you're reasonable to know that well.. you aren't!" Lovey grinned at him and bobbed her head at him, she couldn't really remember if she had introduced herself or not - she wasn't dumb just at times a smidge ditzy, "I'm Lovey Dovey - nice to meet you"

He gavea nervous chuckle as she looked him over. He was relieved when she gave her verdict. "Well, I am Jazz and sure glad you don't think I am crazy. That would be a bad thing...I think anyway." he said with a flick of his tail. "It is also nice to meet you by the way." he added in quickly forgetting his manners for a moment.

Lovey grinned up at the stallion easily. My he was certainly a nervous fella! Most of the time she didn't really have a care in the world so it was easy to talk to people. Then too.. she could probably be called an air-head? "I'm Lovey Dovey.. but for the love of god don't call me that.. I much prefer to go just by Lovey."
