Quote: Patience is the only thing I can say. Since this is a free service and Zy cannot work her butt numb to always get it out every time some big event or happening, shows up. I suggest you sit down and wait! ^_^ But that doesn't mean we can't have a little fun Role-playing though! -No swearing -No punching the reporters no matter how annoying! This is a BIG no no -No reselling for a higher price, that's just evil! -No stealing Rasu's art or my art! Come on people this is a given! -Please don't bump, this is a stickied thread! (OMG IT IS! MY FIRST IMPORTANT THREAD!) -No flaming for gods sake, we know most of these people, and besides we're in a dang TREE! -Don't take the car's parking brake off, happened once and I didn't look the least bit attractive running all the way down the street after it.

Quote: Good news to all you poor folk, this is a completely free service offered to you by the lovely Zydeco. Yes! Its COMPLETELY FREE! Yes you can dance if you really must. o.o At the moment you can always pick up a copy from the back of the white jeep parked in front of the tree (if its there) or on the first floor of the Rising Moon, where there should be a stack near the door. If you want to be on the list for getting your own Gazette delivered to either your shelf or your room, please PM Zydeco. Thank you. ~none are being delivered~

Quote: Name: Zydeco Hoax Age: 19 Occupation in the paper: Fulltime reporter Personality: Most of the time she is a complete whack job with some hidden motives. People usually love to be around her, because of how abnormally open she is about everything, but once in awhile she can just get way out of control and starting shooting her mouth off about something of absolutely no importance. Then again, don't we all do that sometimes? Even though it seems that she is just sprouting nonsense, more often then realized she has a deeper reason for saying things. In fact, she regards herself as a prophet for the stable and reasonable advice she gives, at least when she's in sane mode. Other: Zy is half Lightening Elemental and half human...don't make her break out her powers to blast your a** now. ^_^ Quote: Name: Chayse Harcourt Age: 18 Occupation in the paper: KunKun reporter o' Doom Personality:Usually he's quite easy to get along with, but he'll have his days where he's in no mood for anyone's nonsense. Despite that, he's quite kind to the 'little ones' whether they be kyun, kun, or even ieldi. He prefers to stay in the background until he feels comfortable coming forward. Despite his small, skinny appearance he can be quite the firecracker when angered. Never afraid to lend a helpig hand, he can be quite eager to get involved, which is why he's beginning research on the little kunkuns. Other: none at the moment

The contest FINALLY ends! 4 WINNERS!Quote: Wednesday, November 10 2004 It was a fateful day in August when the contest’s doors swung open to greet the horde of hopeful people in desperate need to receive their own Ieldi. Within instants the room was flooded with n00bs, regulars, lurkers, stalkers, and the few molesters the Kyendi Village could offer. Everyone wanted one, if they were sold on the open market they would disappear like hot plates. However, this was a rare event, and these wonderful, divine creatures certainly were NOT sold openly. In the meager two weeks spared for the contestants to scrap their best work together the contest entry list kept getting longer and longer until on the peak of the 25th it reached the apex and settled quietly into judging. Thirty amazing entries had been sent in, giving each entrant a mere seven percent chance of taking home the prize. However none of us suspected what would happen next. In the short week that the judging was to start, progress and finish, Rasu disappeared. Not a word was breathed to any of us, she just “poofed." Of course after a few weeks went by, the thread became fretful and strange rumors began to circulate. Some assumed the worst, had Rasu passed on to another world? But to others the event simply grazed their shoulder, saying this wasn’t some new, foreign, Rasu routine. Months past, and several of the thread regulars dropped out as if a cold winter front had passed across the thread. The few of us left, huddled together and set off home, to the base thread quietly to carry on sober conversations that last sometimes a few weeks, from slow posting. Soon, the thread dulled away from why Rasu disappeared, and several outstanding people tried there best to put a positive spin back into the thread and get the whole community to come together. Of course this didn’t do as much as hoped, in fact both events planned never took place. Naien, our good co-owner, soon melted into the backdrop as well, giving the quiet reassurance of her disappearance in her signature. Perhaps this was the turning point for God, or some out of this world spirit to breath new life into the thread and gets its heart pumping. Within a few days, a new face appeared on the scene, Adelais, who claimed he was a good friend of Rasu, and was hoping to reopen the Ieldi thread. Of course, most of us launched at the chance, being the crazed obsessed fans that we are, but like usual some held their doubts. After some period of distress, complaint, questioning, and a whole lot of other raw emotions expressed by the faithful regulars, Rasu appeared in a blast of glorious light, the angel of peace in a time of war and chaos. Rumors spread quickly again, this time like wildfire, and as soon as she appeared the winners of this long awaited contest were announced, but two more were added. Avelena Black Duvet Quinny-Chan And Tragicity Some of the loosing contestants instantly expanded and wilted in sadness, but that is the draw back to entering any contest. If you put yourself out there, there is a chance you’ll get burned. Soon the thread was a bustle of activity all over again. The lurkers, stalkers, and regulars soon became restored to their rightful place in the food chain. Even new changes started appearing with the entrance of a new thread and a new guild. Perhaps all this disappearing was just a publicity stunt you say? I have my doubts, but then again I’m just a reporter.

Aftermath: The Effects from the Attack in SabilasiQuote: November 21, 2004 In the week that followed the incident, most of the people living in the village have come to learn that anything can be just around the corner. The news of it all spread quickly as usual, burning it’s way into people’s fears, but soon the usual happiness swept back around. The whole issue actually united the solitary group living in the tree, and brought them together. The healing affects are really quite enjoyable, even though what started it all was utterly frightening. The only two that seemingly have not healed entirely are the two Ieldi that had accompanied the group, Imriel and Kujaku. During the period of the attack both believed that the beast was released once again, and although most of us have heard the tale, none of us can even begin to comprehend how scary it really was. At the time they were nearly petrified in fright, and Kujaku even got injured with a sharp gash on the cheek. Upon returning back home, they have stayed eerily silent and reserved mostly on their shelves. From what I could gather both are still frightened but for different reasons. Imriel is scared that she brought back the end of the world, and she has doomed them all, while Kujaku is worried that people will believe he is eternally ugly with the small scar forming on his cheek. In the same way that their fears are different their way of continuing on are equally dissimilar. Imriel took to talking to Ullue, the pantheon of Light, who is both kind and wise in advice, which hopefully helped immensely, but at this time I’m completely unsure. Kujaku dealt with his scar by having a friendly Oculai sew him a wonderful silk veil that covered the mark. In fact it worked very well, and looks completely stunning on the little Peacock Ieldi. Ahmena finally made her first appearance in the public as well. Many people in the Phoenix’s Inn took an immense interest in the new pantheon and were attracted in by her calming vibe to ask questions or have a simple conversation. Others took no interest, and a few more were slightly afraid. Its good to see her out and among people though, but many people wonder where that other side of her’s is, and what its up too. Either way we most likely will encounter the creature again, and maybe this time we’ll be ready. On that note, life continues in the Village, quite the same as always actually. People come, stay, leave, chat, feel, and ultimately in the end get very attached to all this magic. It is quite the place to live these days. ((yup...no pictures...sorry bout that...couldn't really dig up any good pics this week))
