Naree Kore managed to get away from her nest and go flying. The day was perfect with a clear blue sky and random white clouds to break up the mundane. She was finally gaining her strength back after having her eggs. Between Heliacle, Azhor and Elathan she was at last free to taste the scent on the wind and forget for a moment who she was....

[ Lady Kiya ] Kiyoshi was sitting in a small clearing not far from the cave where her eggs where. She needed to get out. Calamity wasn't there to help, so it made things a little hard. He was off hunting, she thought. She smiled. It was a nice day. Hardly, if no clouds in the sky.
She looked up to see a hippogriff flying. She didn't dare stray far from her eggs, though how she longed to take flight once again. Her wings acked from not flying. Her leggs where tired and just wanted to dangle from the sky. She sighed and flopped down in the grass. Soon she'll be able to fly. But she'll be teaching some small ones how to fly as well.
With every sound around, she twitched a little. Wanting to check on her eggs. Being a mother makes one very paranoid. She giggled. They were quite fine, and hidden from everything. She Yawned and looked back up at the sky. The hippogriff flying kind of resembled a friend of hers.
Could it really be? Most likely not. Kore wasn't around here. Kiyoshi figured she left and would never be back. She was her best friend, though there last meeting wasn't exactly how she pictured it would be. Perhaps their next incounter would be much better.

Naree Kore looked down and took in the valley and the woods. How long had it been since she seen her former home? A dark thought crossed her mind as she remember it was when Kiyoshi had thrown accusations at her. Kore sighed, she felt that she had done what was best for everyone else.
It was not easy to be held in such high regards.
Curious, she wondered how much time she had before Hel sent Azhor, or more likely, Elathan after her. Keen eyes spotted another hippogriff resting not too far from an opening. Once glance told her that it was her once best friend, Kiyoshi. Should she venture a greeting? Would she want to talk to her still?
Circling, she moved within shouting distance.

[ Lady Kiya ] Still curious, Kiyoshi kept her eyes on the hippogriff above. It moved closer down to earth. She see her better. It was Kore. What was she doing here? She should be back with her family or something. She looked away from the sky. She felt ashamed and sad about what she said before. Kore would never want to talk to her again.
Seeing how she came closer, she figured she was also wondering who was on the ground and would notice it was, infact, Kiyoshi instead of someone else. Kiyoshi stood up, and looked to the sky again and started walking towards the small cave. Only slowly though. She stopped about half way from the cave. "A little lost are we?" She shouted looking back up towards Kore.

Naree So, at least they were still on speaking terms, Kore thought to herself. Circling slowly so that her landing would be a clean one, the amethyst 'griff gave a short cry of greeting.
Golden eyes took in the sight of her friend who had been injured the last time they met. Kiyo really did look in much better health. Heliacle told her that she was still too lean after birthing their eggs but that weight would return eventually.
"A chance to stretch my wings is something I could not turn down. Not after being confined in my nest for so long."

[ Lady Kiya ] She gave a small laugh. "Well, I envy you for that. I cannot leave until certain little ones are a bit older" She said truthfully. So she didn't seem at her at all. Hmm, Strange. Or perhaps it was just a nice greeting. She didn't want to fight again. It wasn't exactly how she wanted to be remembered. An old friend who ruined their friendship because of her selfish ways.
"Is it nice up there today, or are the sky's lieing to me?" She asked looking up at the sky. It looked very nice today, but not always was it nice up there to fly. She looked back at Kore.

Naree "Perhaps when your mate comes back, you will be able to stretch your wings. The skies do not lie, it is a good day to be out."
Kore took a few steps forward and looked over Kiyoshi's eggs. They were beautiful in coloring, not at all dark and mysterious like her own clutch. She was lucky to have such a large family... She thought briefly to her teacher, wondering how long she would be gone or if she was ever coming back. Now that she was an adult there might not even be a need to have a teacher anymore.
"A fine clutch you have, Kiyoshi. I suppose I am lucky to have three who are willing to watch over mine."

[ Lady Kiya ] She gave another laugh. Calamity was too busy to help out. "He's off doing more important things, like keeping me healthy." She said with a smile. She watched as Kore walked over to her eggs. One was dark. It was as blue as she was. Though, it did have some tan on it. One was very odd. It looked like it was split in threes. Part blue, part white, and part tan. The third looked much like Calamity. All tan. She smiled at that. Whatever laid with in the egg was sure enough going to be lovely. Her Eggs Where quite interesting.
"Why thank you. I'm sure when they hatch they'll look quite lovely." She smiled again. Where they friends again, or was it just because she had eggs. "Oh, You have eggs aswell? Well, yes, I would have a few watch over mine. But they are out playing. You see, they are still quite young." She thought about the two she had adopted. So cute they were, though they have grown a lot, and soon to grow again.

Naree Kore laughed. It was a lightening sound that seemed to ease away all the anger and tension that had been between the two. Sitting down, she began to clean her wings. How much longer would she have before she was tied down with five children?
"Oddly enough, I do have a clutch at the nest. The gods decided to bless my mate and I because our love was true. Only the gods could have made it so that we could have children."
Looking back towards the mountains, Kore smiled. "You would like her, my mate. She is silent and sweet. Cautious but caring. She took in young Azhor when he was still in the shell just as I took in Elathan. Both are strong boys now who help with the hunting."

[ Lady Kiya ] That was quite odd. She? Indeed the gods would have to bless them. " I see. Perhaps soon, I'll get to meet her. What is her name?" She didn't realize at first they both knew who she was. Though, how could she know? She only met her once, which didn't turn out to be that good. " I see. I should have my adoptive son meet them. I'm sure they'd become good friends. If they haven't met already." She added. "Indivar needs more friends other then his sister." She added.
She wanted to see the eggs, though she didn't want to leave hers there alone. She looked at her peaceful little eggs. Wondering what joys where to come out of it. She sighed happily.

Naree "Her name is Heliacle. And perhaps, someday our children will play together in the fields and woods like we did..."
Kore stopped, remembering happier times but also remembering that these times were good as well. So Kiyoshi's kind heart had her take in some orphans as well. "Perhaps I shall bring Elathan and Azhor next time. They are our younger brothers, it works better that way."
"It is good for us to be talking again. Nursing a wound can only make it fester."

[ Lady Kiya ] She heard that name before. "I think, perhaps, I've met Heliacle. But didn't go so well. Zailan scared her when I was with her and Calamity." She said. Perhaps it could be the wrong one, but a name so different couldn't happen. She sat there for asecond thinking. Indeed their incounter wasn't exactly.... Good.
She looked up. "Yes. Perhaps it was just me being pregnant that made me so angry." She said with a sigh, still mad at herself for what she had said. Though it was the past and she couldn't change it. It was the future, though she could. "I'm sure they would both enjoy the compainy of others." she added aswell. She wasn't sure who those two had met, though she knew they've been around. She hadn't seen them for quite some time, but hoped they would come around to at least visit her.

Naree "I can understand your anger. I have never been angry at you, just sad that we had to leave how we did..." Kore nodded at this statement. "I am still living in the mountain range but facing toward the valley in some of the lower caves. Your kin are always welcome in my nest."
Kore stood up and stretched out her legs. Prancing in place for a moment, the royal purple griff gave a quick smile. "I have to get back to my young. It was good to see you and know that you are doing well. Take care and I will visit soon."
Nodding to her best friend, Kore took off and headed back towards her nest.
