Do not post until you have made a profile. DO NOT post such profile here! There is a particular sticky where that can be done. burning_eyes That's what it's there for.

Now...

The Fourth Age of Middle Earth was supposed to be a time of peace. Aragorn was supposed to be crowned king and Arwen, queen. Frodo, Bilbo, Elrond, Galadriel, and Gandalf were supposed to cross to the Gray Havens. Even Sam was supposed to be well as he wedded Rosie, his little hobbit crush from the Third Age. And, most importantly, the Dark Lord Sauron was supposed to be destroyed after Frodo made it to Mount Doom to destroy the One Ring.

But all had failed.

The travel to destroy the ring never succeeded in victory. The Ring was never destroyed leaving Sauron and all of his dark followers to lead Middle Earth into darkness. Times are tougher then they have ever been now that the Ring is back in the possession of the Dark Lord himself. It is the nightmare of every good being of Middle Earth and a dream for all the dark ones. Is there still hope? Can there be light once again? We'll have to see.

Allaire held her double daggers by her sides, a firm grip on each handle. Her gray green eyes swirled as she looked over the area of the former great city- Minas Tirith. It was now in the hands of the dreaded orcs only to have men as their prisioners. A cold wind blew her short ashe blonde hair is swirls and a harsh look was pasted on the woman's face. She remembered when the city was full of much life and even though it was on the boarders of the dark relm, it still managed. It was incerdible how much had failed since the failure of the Fellowship. Allaire spat on the ground and sheathed her daggers as she turned around. She couldn't stay in such an infested place.

Not to far away Galbon watched the same thing that Allaire watched. Eyes scanned the city. The once white city walls were black by fire the once great gate of the city lay shattered. He then looked towards Mordor. Mt. Doom flared and the smoke covered the skies even past Minas Tirith. Most of the world rested in the hands of the Dark lord. He turned his back to Minas Tirith and started down the trail that would take him far away from Gondor.

On horseback, perhaps a better civilization could be found, but where? Allaire kept the pace at a steady canter moving her hips rythimically to the dray horses strides. Her hair wipped about, no emotion on her face. What was there to feel. Rage? Anger? Dissapointment? ... Hope? She shook her head. Wasting time on emotion in such times was uneeded and illadvised she thought although she missed smiling.

Galbon stopped at a hidden clearing on the trail. He dropped his pack on the ground and leaned agianst a old cider tree. He discided on resting while he could. By night fall he planned to make for Rohan. He laid back and closed his eyes listening to the chirping bird the only happy thing left in Gondor.

Allaire rode at the constant pace of a canter until the forest began to thiken and in the growing night, it sent cold shivers down her spin to be in suh darkness in such an age. She slowed her horse down to a walk and looked around. The full moon provided enough light to make her feel somewhat comftorable, but the noises of beasts in the night made her heart race. Her eyes glowed as her vision concentrated in the growing darkness and just as a cloud passed over the moon making the dark even more evil, she heard light breathing close by. She drew one of her long daggers and looked around frantically. Other travelers would be setteling in the woods for the night, but she didn't want to chance a thing.

Kareswen sat cross-legged on the rock, watching the uruk-hai crossing the plains with disgust. They moved in a steady black line- otherwise she would have chanced an ambush - towards Minas Tirith, her occupied home city. They were so intent on their goal that they hadn't seen her, it was lucky it was dark as she had not bothered to hide. She took a small sip of water from her skin and leant a little further in to the shelter. She glanced at the dark sky, in the mood to pick off any stragglers. She would have more chance of sneaking up on some of them unseen now. She stood up and whistled to her horse.

((Sorry, was in a hurry, edited it afterwards.))

Galbon put his ear to the ground and listened for the movment in the forest. Her silence from he slung his pack across his shoulder and set out futher in to the forest with his left hand resting on his sword and his black mithril plate armor shining in the moon's light.

Allaire inhaled deeply, feeling her nerves and muscles instantly calm. The forest trees gre farther apart and the clud moved across the moon allowing its light to shine a path before the path. Allaire tapped her horse into a settle trot, moving her hips with its movements making it more of a joyful ride, even in the darkness. The horse's hooves created a gentle clomping sound with each beat.

Galbon moved through the shadows of the forest and came to a main road and put his ear to the ground. He could here the faint clopping of hooves down the road behind him. He hid in the bushes and waited for the rider to aprouch.

Kareswen rode quietly down the slope, slowly at first and then more quickly when the ground started to flatten out. Her horse snorted and she loosened the reins, reluctantly allowing him to set the pace. He cantered towards the twinking lights, delighted with the freedom. In contrast, Kareswen's expression was grim as she gripped her sword. She held Naraithas so tightly that her knuckles had turned white on the hilt and she had to remind herself to loosen her grip a bit.

Allaire sighed with greatfullness as the forest path lead to the open again. The dark part was over for now. She broke her horse back into a light canter, riding through the tunnel the thick tree branches created until the moon's light shone briightly at the end of the forest path. Her horse slowed down only for a second as he sniffed the air, but Allaire pressed the horse on, her ashe blonde hair looking black in the night.

Galbon gripped his scimiter on his left side and draw the blade quitly. He listened to the sounds of the forest. The sound of a horse was near and getting closer with each passing second. He waited more see if the rider was friend or foe.

Allaire tunred her head suddenyl as she felt a starnge feeling in her mind like someone was waiting... quietly. She pushed her gray horse into a faster canter, her sword drawn loosely in her grip to allow agility. Her face turned white with slight fear, but her gray-blue eyes remain suttle as if nothing was going to happen.
