Welcome to the home of Lucien and his Gaurdian Larainne Kardon. Or you may just call her Lara. At the moment it seems all we have is... well nothing. Not even a cert yet. eh, for now. Make yourself comfortable and let's see if we can turn this plot of dirt called 'home' into something.

I'm kinda LIKE ___ :; Lara is generally a really nice girl, she likes to help others and will trust almost anyone who smiles at her nicley which can lead her into some bad paths. at times she can be very excentric and carry on about randome things like cheesecake, toast and other nonscense but she can also value a silent day. Lara's music taste is very varid her CD collection can range from 80's music, anthem, some rock but not so much heavy metal. Music can also effect how she feels very easily, one minuite she could be lounging about feeling lathargic and lazy just...because and all it takes is a single happy-go-lucky song to start playing and she'll be on her feet in the middle of her lounge room singing her heart out whilst dancing. However despite her seemingly randome personality. It can take awhile for her to warm up to a stranger, and actully let them see her acting so freely.

Much like the many other guardians who inhabit Gaia, Lara was not initially born into the lands of Durem, Gambino, or Barton but in one of the many worlds just outside Gaia and Earth. Although Lara may not have a permanent dwelling in Gaia, she often visit’s the strange plane and is familiar with most of the areas and general going-ons that occur there.
Larainne was conceived by one of the original sirens from Greek mythology. A creature depicted as a half bird creature who sang alluring songs to enchant sailors who travelled by the sea’s waters. When a sailor was enticed by a siren into swimming out to what ever rock or land mass the sirens had perched upon, it was said that the sailor would see the bones of past victims which the siren had also tempted with their beguiling voices and eaten.
The particular siren to which is being spoken of, is the siren known by the name of Leucosia.
Leucosia lived on the island of Sirenum Scopuli with her sisters Parthenope and Ligeia where they lived the normal life of a siren. Singing, deceiving, eating. It was a repetitive and at times weary existence.
Leucosia never felt discontented with her life, from time to time a fight might break out between her and a sister but more often then not the squabbles were harmless. It was on one of these particular days, when Leucosia felt restless, that she chanced upon a sailor who had sailed on a boat that the three sisters had wrecked only a few hours ago. The Sailor had survived both the siren’s coaxing voices, the steep cliffs which encircled Sirenum Scopuli, and the strength of the waves as they crashed below into the sands. The man seemed to have been forgotten by the sisters as they feasted continuously on his crew mates.
Clearly delusional from either the intense heat of the sun or still very intoxicated with the siren’s singing, the man begged to be chosen as Leucosin’s mate and that she might come back to land with him. Indulged by the mad-man’s fantasies she allowed him to court and sleep with her until his desires became of little interest to her and as he slept, Leucosin clawed at his chest, consuming his heart and skin before letting his carcass fall in to the heap to join the thousands of other sailors.
Unknown to Leucosin however, the bones of that sailor were not the only remains of him. Whilst months disappeared like ships in devious seas, Leucosin found herself growing larger and broader in both hips and stomach until she gave birth to an egg. Hesitantly she waited for it to break and see what she had given life to. However when at last the egg did smash she was not pleased. The being was not at all similar to Leucosin and her sisters, the only way it was bird like were in the giant wings which spread out from the crowning of her hair. Its body was featherless and instead of wings -were they should have been- it had flimsy extensions and another five smaller extension things attached to that which resembled tiny little blood worms that she and her sister scavenged when mortals were few. Leucosin recognized this thing at once. It was what the dinner often referred to as a ‘girl’
Displeased by the being which had come out of her, Leucosin left the girl out in the sea somewhere and flew off, for if the child didn’t drown then surly the animals might kill her off.
Fortunately Æolus -son of Hellen- took pity on the child and sent a breeze that directed the little one safely towards shore. Little time passed before the child was taken to a home for children without one and she matured there, being placed under the name of Larainne, meaning Bird of the sea. It was a name she grew fond of when one of her friends at the time said she had ‘seagull wings’ growing from her head. Lara lived with her ‘alternate’ family for some time. However when law stated eighteen to be the national age of Adulthood she was made to leave under a sad eye from both caretakers and the children she had made friends with.
Her love for the ocean never dwindled and she took a residence in a beach side home which had a salty sea breeze blowing through at all times.
