Mistakes are where we learn. Tell us your learning experiences.
Yesturday I saw the prices on the opened sealeds and I freaked out. I personally thought the items would raise because the falcon and the hair looked good. The prices lowered from 15k to 11k. I sold all my remaining letters at 10.5k. Today I see them at 12.5k.
I could have sold them at a nice price of 15k right before they opened.
I could have waited a while to sell them from 10.5k to 12k. I lost at Least 2k each. but I also gained 10.5k per letter.
Things to remember.
The price raises a couple hours after they open as people start buying and demand sets in.

i am afraid that the new MC's will be like momo's and UFO's.. stressed i lost a lot of gold as well by selling them, since i expected prices to raise when the sealeds opened...

What I've learned is not to always expect other prices on the marketplace to be reasonable. It's silly to see all these cheap little items, and the sellers asking for hundreds of thousands of gold for them. Then I'd sell mine at the same price, expecting to become stinkin' rich... and never sold a thing. Hahahaha. Live and learn.

I just sold some Oculus Magica for 999g. I was trying to sell some jack unform shoes but I guess I wasn't paying close enough attention.
So I sent the buyer a polite letter asking for them back but I doubt it.
That'll teach me to be more careful. stare

That'll teach me to be more careful. stare She was very polite and was going to give it back (she had given it to her brother) but I told her to keep it. Politeness is refreshing!

If you try to buy two items in two different windows pretty much simultaneously, the system can get VERY confused. I'm not sure exactly how it happened, but I ended up losing the amount of money for the higher priced item (which I didn't buy) for the lower one.
I figure it was a cheap lesson overall to slow down and be patient.

In March I don't think I made a very good profit, I opened the envelope instead of selling it closed, bad move.

My most big mistake I did was to not keep attention to the price of what I sold my Golden Laurels... I forgot 3 zeros (sells at 555g), tried to mp the one that buys my Golden Laurels at this price, 2 mp after, he ignores my account.
So now I try to make business to at least recover my 555k of loss, but well, it's hard..
Since, I keep really better attention to the items I sell

I bid on 3 oculus magicas with lots of time left. Since the system took my money until I'm outbid, I'll be missing so much money that I have to basically put a halt to all vending until I get my money back, which could take a long time. Moral of the story? Don't bid at all unless the time is almost out.

I just accidently sold my angelic pendant for 194,999 gold. I was trying to sell it for 594,999.
That's a big loss for me. If I do manage to get it back I'm going to invest it in several smaller items.

I bought about 11 or so at the price of 13k per. They dropped to 10.5k on opening day. D=
