Reine floated through the doors of the library, and made sure it was entirely empty. I don't want to scare off anyone.. we look even creepier than ghosts do if seen by a person that can't use magic. After all, we are supposed to be malevolent spirits. Even though that's how I feel, I don't need those feeling to take over my common courtesy. After all, not EVERYONE is a jerk, like those idiots that indirectly killed me. Why scare others because of them? I'm this way because of those idiots, not the innocents. she thought, floating a bit past the doors. Noticing that the library was empty, aside from the librarian, she entered, taking special care to avoid windows or anything with a reflective surface. She floated towards the back of the library, and looked at the books there. The librarian probably won't bother going back here, so I can read without freaking anyone out. After all, it WOULD look strange to see books randomly floating.. she thought, pulling one that looked interesting to her off the shelf. She opened it, and began to read.

Javert leaned back in his chair, and put his feet on the table in front of him. No one's here to notice, anyway. So, I may as well make myself comfortable. he thought. I would look at the books, but I wouldn't be able to read any of them. I still can't read Kanji, at all. And I can barely speak it, too. I only know how to say thank you, and that I'm supposed to use suffixes on the end of people's names, depending on their relationship to me. That's all they taught me at the magic school back in France before I was sent here. He then noticed that he had company. Well, that's strange.. she wasn't here a minute ago. And, stranger yet, she's transparent.. wait. That would mean.. she's a ghost of some sort. So, people have died on campus. It figures.. I mean, for a place that allegedly was a war zone back in the time of my ancestor, the infamous dark lord Victor Crepuscule? Or, as he was known here, Victor Monschadt. Maybe she's one of the victims of that time period.. Well, if she was, I'd know it, I suppose. She'd be after me. Mother said that I look a lot like him, almost as if he was reborn, if such a thing existed. And she finds it even stranger that I was told to go here, a place my ancestor, and his wife, nearly annihilated? Seems a bit strange, but it's merely a coincidence. Oh, well. To the matter on hand.. he thought, taking his feet off the table, standing up, then approaching Reine. "Well, hello there, mademoiselle. I haven't seen you around here before. Are you new here?" He asked, pretending to ignore the fact he knew she was a ghost of some sort.
