It was the usual dark day in the southwest part of Pokemorph Island. Dark grey clouds hid the bright blue skies, and puddles of water were drying on the sidewalks. The smell of rain was surely in the air, and local pokemorphs were either deep in their houses hiding from the overcast, or out walking along the sidewalks with umbrella's preparing for more rain. It was a little over mid-day, presumingly around 4:00pm, and it was surprisingly the 16th anniversay that pokemorphs had escaped from the Rockets. Still there were pokemorphs loyal to their wretched ways and some still in captivity, but frankly things were much better then they had been those four years ago.
An absolutely gorgeous milotic-morph, a little over the age of 19, was strolling down a thin sidewalk through a park. She had blue flailed hair, extended whip like eyelashes, two maroon colored appendages comming from the sides of her head, and one peachy strong horn comming out of the top of her head. Then below she had one very large tail covered in very large scale like plates, and these plates had also covered her body in random places. Lastly her skin was a very distinguishing peach color, and her eyes were a pale blue that was common in milotic-morphs. She looked more human than a lot of pokemorphs, and she wore a light green sweat shirt and light blue caprees, above light green flip-flops on her feet.
She loved the rain, and had been strolling through the park all day hoping it would rain again since that morning. She happened to have a day off from work, and was spending her time doing what she liked the most: enjoying the outdoors. Taking a seat on the edge of a bridge over a small stream, she looked up into the sky and one single drop of rain fell on her hand.
Durring this same time a very dark-like Leafia-morph was walking down a dark damp sidewalk. She had two cut-up leaf ears, one green leaf sticking out of her head, one leaf out her upper chest, another leaf on her upper back, a large cut-up bent leaf tail, and had paws for both feet and hands. In her face she had very big black eyes, a stout muzzle, and a care-less expression. She was wearing a complicated cape-like hood, a dark blue shirt, and some very baggy black-blue jeans. She looked about 19, but actually was around 17 years old.
She had been heading for a local bar that she visited often, and had just turned into an allyway to get there faster. Her long peach and darkbrown hair was up in a very long ponytail that reached her lower back, and her eyes were as ruthless as ever.
Directly beside this Lefia-Morph was a younger Eevee morph that was a little over 13 years old. He was her younger brother. He was wearing a black sweat shirt with a hood over his face, and also had very baggy dark blue-black jeans. He had black arrow like markings on his dark brown ears, and had two black circles around his eyes. These markings were randomly around his body, and added emesly to his dark un-caring figure. He, as well as his sister, had big black eyes and a muzzle, and he also had paws as his feet and hands.

Yena, a female who looked around the age of 20 sat on the end of an almost empty street eating her favorite snack, dog biscuts. They were bought from a local pet store. She looked around the age of 20 but she was actually 16. She had black hair trailing down past the base of her tail. Her hair was grey at the top due to the common markings of mightyenas. She also had triangle shapes under her eyes and she often wore black lipstick. Long, black, cloth-like material covered her legs, feet, arms and hands. It was cut at the top to form ragged markings. She, like many other canine-like poke-morphs, had paws. Her uniform was almost cut like a one-piece bathing suit. Yenas personality was bright, but also mysterious and dark. She loved to trick people. Her bright red eyes scanned her surroundings. Making sure no-one got near her precious snacks. : )

"Look! Leer?!"
A desparate voice called out through the dreary, damp air. Its owner was a lonely, miserable-looking figure of around 19. His long, black bangs hung over his face like a curtain, nearly covering the right side of his face. Even in the gloomy, dark weather, the figure wore sunglasses that shielded his eyes from view. A pair of anenne, as dark as his hair and drooping, sprouted from the top of his head.
He was heavily clothed in a long-sleeve top with a short-sleeve pulled over it. Baggy black cargo pants adorned with numerous chains across his legs gave a casually depressed impression. From a few of those chains hung small vials that dangled and clinked together, a gold-yellow liquid corked within each. It seemed an odd sort of fashion statement, but the honey colored liquid matched the figure's bright gold-yellow skin, which contrasted greatly with his black attire. Lastly, a pair of delicate, pale, glossamer wings were folded closely against his back, nearly invisible unless he moved them.
The figure's sleeved arms disappeared deeply into his pockets, adding to his casual look. Though his slumped shoulders and distinctly upset expression, somewhat concealed behind his hair and glasses, told a totally different story. Clearly he sought someone, but in the tall shadows of the densely-packed city buildings, it would be quite a task to discover anyone, even sparsely populated as it was.
"Look? Leer!" The voice called again. It was dangerous on the streets on that day, and Benjamin, a genuine inhabitant of the city, knew this only too well. The problem was the individuals he sought were merely travellers and oblivious to the dark anniversary.
"Well well well...what do we have here?"
An obstructing form blocked the path of the Leafia morph, a half-empty bottle grasped loosely in his hand. It was a slim young male with a pair of black denim jeans. He had no shirt, and his chest was marked with silver and dark grey. His grinning, coy face was also a pale silver, though his big, childish blue eyes were shaded by long black bangs with crimson tips. Longer bangs framed each side of his face, and his hair grew up wildly in the back, all black and tipped with crimson.
What was more disturbing was the long, curling probiscus he had in place of a nose. It coiled down to his chest, along side two long, dropping black antenna. They blended with his hair, though without he crimson tips, and were so long as the fell across his shoulders they appeared as a pair of pigtails, giving him a distinctly girly appearence.
The lad was barefoot, and his voice was thickly accented with the tounge of the Irish. It could also be noted that he spoke with a slight slur, possibly due to the bottled bevrage in his hand. His breath smelled a mix of bitter alchol and sweet flower nectar. The 17-year-old flaunted a very large pair of colorful Beautifly wings, which fluttered delicately against his slim, unstable figure.
"Hmm...a pair of tresspassers. Underage," he muttered in his irish accent, scrutinizing them none too effectively with his big blue eyes, swaying with the influence of his whiskey. "What do you think, Leer? Shall we let 'em pass?" he hiccupped. It was obvious he wasn't in a very clear state of mind, especially as his bleary vision travelled up and down the form of the Leafia girl.
"Come now, Look. No harrasing the lassies...it's not as if we can talk, being underage ourselves...besides, what if they've not come to drink?"
A simillarly wobbling figure appeared behind the first, reaching out an arm as if to steady him, but causing them to both tilt dangerously to the side in the process. They could have been identical if one did not observe too closely, and was color blind. This one was of the same height, age, accent, behavior, and gender as the other, and he even wore his hair in the same fashion, tipped in crimson. But his hair roots, instead of being black, was as green as his Dustox wings. His lilac torso and face clashed with the scarlet skin of his legs, arms, hands, and feet. His golden eyes had, unlike the blue of his brother, three pupils in each eye instead of merely one. Shorter, golden antenne protruded from his hair, thicker, as they were more feathery than solid. He too was shirtless, but his pants were a goldenrod-dyed denim.
He too regarded the newcomers with his triple-pupiled eyes, a small smirk coming to his lips. "Ah, a young lad as well. Maybe this'll be fun. We don't get too many kids watching our preformances, do we?" He slapped his twin on the back playfully, causing him to reel and nearly throwing off his balance altogether. "Let 'em through. It'll be fine."
The Dustox-morph beckoned the Leafia and the Eevee morph through the door the two boys had been standing in front of. The sign over it read The Lime Light Lounge.
"Welcome to the Lounge!" the morph called Leer welcomed groggily, though he didn't seem quite as out of it as the one called Look. It was peculiar, considering his bottle was empty, suggesting he had consumed twice as much as his brother. "Please...make yourselves at home."

"Well well. A couple of drunks down an allyway. That's original." Tonia said sarcastically with an expression of blunt cruelty upon her face. (( stare )) Silently she listened to Look's final words, and then decided to lean up against the dark brick wall beside her while the two decided whether to let them pass or not. She didn't really feel the need to wait for their decision, or find them a threat in their current state, but she more enjoyed the humor they expressed as they leaned drunken on eachother. "What do either of you care whether we've come to drink or not? Hm?" Tonia then let silence take over her, finding pity for the two drunks.
Keevo quickly stepped forward threateningly, although it didn't come off much as a theat from his short size, "Kid?" He snarled at the Dustox-morph.
"Don't let it get to you Keevo..." Shentan snapped quietly to the Eevee-morph, "We've got permission now. There's no point in starting a fight." Shentan sounded sarcastic, and seemed as if she wanted to start something more than her brother. She had a very uncaring appearance to anyone except her brother, and her personality couldn't help but make it obvious. The two passed the welcoming bug-morphs, and continued into The Lime Light Lounge without even a thank you.
Keevo found a small table to reserve for the two, and Shentan stopped in front of the bar counter, slipping out a very convincing ID. The Bartender, a large Noctowl-morph (( Is that how you spell it? ;(^^) )), as usual, didn't seem to even think whether she was underage or not, and with the amount she had often come he didn't seem to have a problem whether she was underaged or not. "Hello Dowle." "Hello Shentan, been a while." "Yes, have had some things to tend to. Well, One Pina Colada and one Virgin Pina Colada please." Shentan directed to the Bartender. "Commin' right up." He said, giving back her ID. Two minutes passed, and two large drinks with whipped cream and cherries on top were rolled across the counter to her. She casually thanked the bartender and sat across Keevo at the little round table across from the bar counter. "Here." She rolled the Virgin over to him, begining to sip from her alcoholic beverage.
Keevo pulled off his black hood, bearing his two long ears. Silently he began to sip his Virgin Pina Colada, and his eyes stared down the table infront of him. He bore a dead concentrated gaze, as if he had his mind on something deeply important.
"Hmm." She smiled realizing the drop had hit her hand. Pulling herself off the bridge, she began walking further towards the main part of the city. The outdoors didn't always have to be green parks with dazzling surroundings. She continued walking, down down the sidewalk on the side of a street. She gazed at the cloudy skies with a feeling of pure content on her face. Not even realizing where she had been going, Tonia walked strait into the sitting Mightyena-Morph, doing nearly a complete flip onto the damp ground. She was on the Mightyena-morphs left side spread across the sidwalk, and the dog biscuits were scattered across both the sidewalk and the edges of the street. "Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry! I was.. and I... And..." She sighed, both feeling embarassed and terrible, "I'm Tonia. I'm really sorry!" She said pulling herself off the ground and begining to collect the spreaded treats. "You have no idea how sorry I am! I really am!" The milotic-morph reassured her, her long tail wisping along the damp sidewalk.

"Err.." The mightyena-morph stared at Tonia, almost laughing. "It's alright." She bent down to help pick up the treats. "Im Yena!" Yena finished picking up the last of the treats and put the small bag. Then she walked over to a nearby trash can, throwing them away. "I was done anyways." she smiled. She winced as a drop of rain fell onto her cheek. "Oh! We should get to a drier place. I have a feeling it might rain soon." She paused. "But of course, I like the rain. Hehe." Yena turned her head to the sky, looking slightly content as the rain drops started to multiply. "Do you like the rain, Tonia?"

((Hey, guys? ^^ Just wondering, I know a few friends who would love to join an rp like this, but I didn't know if you'd like me to ask them to join or if you just wanted it to be us. What would you prefer?))
"Trust me, missy, we're as original as it gets," snickered the Dustox morph. "Besides, you say it as if it's a bad thing. Why so cold? My brother hasn't been too offensive, has he? I never let him drink too much before a preformance, or he gets a little...rowdy. Doesn't take alcohol quite as well as I do, as he's such an air-head it all goes to his brain. If you know what I mean." He smirked. "I imagine it's the same with all flying types."
"Care?" Look repeated musingly. "Hmm...because you'll take drink all the really good drinks before us?"
Leer shook his head and laughed. "That's not it, Look. Pleanty to go around, you know."
"Well, all right, then...pleanty of whiskey, but ladies shouldn't have any anyway...not proper..." he mumbled, color rising to his pale silver face as he took another swig of his bottle. "Besides, if she's passed out, she won't get to see us preform."
"Who said anything about passing out, you daisy? You're a bit of a girl yeurself, if ye know what I mean! Just look at yeh! You're falling all over with just a couple of gulps!" Leer warned him. "Aye, but you're right about the latter...we better get ready. Come on...we're on in a few minutes. Come on! Up to yer feet!"
The lilac-skinned morph turned to Keevo curiously. "Hmm? Somethin' the matter with bein' a kid, kid?" he asked. "Least yer not a drunkard like this loon. Be glad." He grasped the shoulders of his twin firmly and pushed him through the door Look was having such a hard time finding. He had walked into the wall on either side of it repeatedly.
Look, however, glanced up, refusing to budge at the mention of a fight. His antenne suddenly perked up a slightly, like living snakes. "Fight? What fight? Let me at 'em, Leer, I'll get 'em..."
"No, no, you'll be gettn' no one right now, Look. Now get in there, or I won't buy you no more drinks after the show." At this, Leer found he could get Look to go in quite easily after that.
Taking the Beautifuly's still partly full bottle from his loose grasp, the Dustox-morph carried it to the counter and set it to the side. "Dowle, make sure Look doesn't get any more 'till after the show, will yeh? He's had enough to drink as it is, and I'm not sure how much longer he'll even last. He could collapse on stage, knowing how stoned he can get with so little in him."
"What'cha talk'n 'bout me for?" Look questioned suspiciously, approaching from the back stage. "All set, Leer...hey, lookit. It's Leaf-girl again and her munchkin."
"Knock it off, Look, or you'll scare'em away before we even get to singing. You sure you'll be alright?" He asked, raising a green brow.
"Positive," he answered, never once taking his large blue eyes off of Shentan. "As long as this cutie's watching, I'll last..." Leaning forward, Look leaned on the counter and whispered into her ear.
"Hey, sugarplum...listen...yer choice if you wanna drink. But like I said, it's at yer own risk if yeh wanna drink around a bar full of drunk dirty-minded guys. Like me." Blowing her a small kiss, he pulled away, noticing Leer's signals out of the corner of his eye. "Hope you enjoy the show," he added, giving a two-finger salute to Keevo before allowing himself to be dragged away by Leer.
"Look after her, kid," Leer called after Keevo, guessing the Leafia was his sister. "Drunk teens aren't the best reasoners in the world..."
And with that, the two disappeared backstage to set up with the performance that day at the Lime Light Lounge.
Meanwhile, Benjamin, who had so carefully blended in with crowds all his life, was beginning to get uneasy in the familiar city he called home. Without all its bustling streets and people, it was so different. Far to quiet to be considered safe. It was days like these he hated, when he had the feeling there was no where to run; no where to hide. His whole life had revoloved around hiding. It was the only thing that contented him. But now, what concerned him the most was the twins' wherabouts.
Surely they couldn't have been stupid enough to go to their bar on a day like this?! he thought, before hastily rethinking that logic. Yes, yes they would. Particularly if they didn't realize just what day it was.
"LOOK! LEER! Where are you cursed drunks?!" he cried to the heavens, just beginning to pour. If he didn't hurry, he'd soon be soaked.
Just then, Ben looked up at the sound of a pair of voices just around the corner. Hope rising within him, the Beedrill-morph set off around the building, only to find a bench occupied with a couple of pretty young ladies. He froze, startled, but quickly recompsed himself.
"H-hello," he greeted meekly, not feeling too enthusiastic. Already he was beginning to sneeze. If he caught cold in the rain, it would be the twins; fault. It wouldn't have been the first time, either. They were downright trouble-makers for him. Yet he felt compelled to ask on their wherabouts.
"I'm sorry to bother you girls, but, er...would you have happened to see a pair of insect morphs around? Beautifly and Dustox morph? Twins?" He couldn't ever imagine either twin trying to go anywhere in disguise. It was rather hard to forget them once you saw them. "I'm afraid they might have gotten into some trouble...you know, with today being the anniversary and all..."
He cast his sunglass gaze downward at the cement thoughtfully, as if a map to the twins' location was etched in the concrete. "I really need to find them."

((I don't really mind more people joining, as long as it's not like 10 people... ;(^^) Well... Maybe I could cope with 10 people. LOL (><) What do you think Bijou? He he. ))
Dustox: "Trust me, missy, we're as original as it gets." "Well obviously." Shentan pointed out bluntly.
Shentan glared at the two with even less care for them as before after the Dustox-morph's first comments. She really just wanted to get her drink and sit down.
"Yes, quite a bit to go around. No body in The Lime Light Lounge would refuse a guest." Out of all her rude remarks, she then smirked mockingly at the two,"And just so you know, the Females of the Eevee family probably know how to hold their liquor more than any other. I would challenge you to a drink off, but since you're already quite drunk yourself you haven't the faintest chance at winning."
After their last comments Shentan followed the two inside the lounge. Keevo growled quietly at the two as they entered in front of them.
((Now the rest of what Shentan and keevo did inside the lounge is in my previous post. He he! After this is after they've sat down! . . . Sorry! I'm being so boringly describing and technical! LOL! (><) I'll shut-up now! lol... ))
"Sure thing Leer!" Said Dowle, chucking. Keevo's blank stare was interupted, 'Munchkin?!' He thought silently to himself, 'Idiots.' The two remained ignoring Look and Leer, that is until... Shentan got the best of her. "Thank you for your very lovely comments." She turned back to Keevo, "Hmmm... I wonder what other alcohol I could down before the night's over. Any idea's Keevo?" Shentan said annoyed after the two's quite irritating comments, as to try and let them know she wasn't interested. Keevo, for once in a long time, actually grinned demonically back at Shentan, understanding her train of thought. She then turned to Look right before they left to the backstage, "Hmm. You know you really shouldn't drink that much before a show... It's just ain't proper, you know?"
About five minutes passed after the two entered the backstage until somone decided to speak. "Wow Shentan. That's the most I've heard you talk that loose to somone other than us in a while." Said Dowle, cleaning out another mug and directing towards himself and Keevo. "I'll take that as a compliment." She then said sarcastically dark. It had only been a few minutes, and she was already in a complete change in mood, that is, right back to her casual inverted self. "What is that supposed to mean?" Dowle said chuckling once again to himself. Shentan didn't answer, sipping from her Pina Colada.Keevo remained silent, doing the same with his Virgin. She sipped at it again, but nothing but foam leftover from the drink came out. She walked right up to the counter, "Screw Pina Colada, I'll have some wiskey this time. A scotch." She said, sounding annoyed still. "He he! Don't let em' get to you Shentan. It's not natural for you to get worked up over something so little." Dowle said passing over now a cup of Scotch Whiskey, "I'll let this be on the house." "Thank you Dowle." Shentan said with annoyance, now downing the whole cup. Dowl chuckled again watching her, "Would you like another?" "That would be grand. ... Keevo, why not come over here? The stools are more comfortable." Keevo, silently, grabbed his still remaining Virgin Pina Colada, and sat on the next red stool next to Shentan. Shentan then downed the second cup. She was pretty worked up compared to her usual state, just as worked up as a young schoolgirl who had been picked on from liking somone she didn't like. "Woow Leafia. Want me to just give ya the bottle?" Dowle joked. "That would be spectacular."
"Yes!" Tonia said, "I just love the rain, almost more than anything!" Tonia was surprised how shockingly alike the two had already been, knowing that they had just met minutes before, The Beedrill-morph appeared in front of them. "Why, hello."Tonia said back in a polite manner, "Hmm... Beautifly and Dustox morphs?" Tonia pondered to herself as her tail then swayed back and forth, "Wait... I think I did! . . . But... Unfortunately I can't faintly remember wat direction they went... I'm sorry. I'm so useless..." Tonia then turned to Yena, "Have you seen any of those two? . . . Wait! I think it's comming back to me! I think I may have seen them go in that direction!" She pointed to the left of her, "Here, let me go with you to find them! If I knew that you ended up wandering the streets in this rain alone all because I gave you wrong directions I would feel terrible for weeks! My name's Tonia." She held out a hand to Benny, as to shake.

((Eee, yay! More people would be great! But yes, 10 people would be a bit confusing to me. xD Since this is the first time Ive rp'd in a LOOOONG time, haha. ^w^)) Yena watched Benny and Tonia, interested in what would happen next. She thought she had seen the Beautifly and Dustox-morphs earlier that day but she didnt want to give anyone false directions, as she wasnt sure where exactly she had seen them. She stepped up from behind Tonia. "I think they went that way too. Im pretty sure I saw them pass by here earlier!" She exclaimed, trying to be at least a little bit helpful. "So, Ill come along." Yena said, with a slight smile on her face. She loved the rain, dripping down her face so she didnt have a problem about being outside longer. "Just to make sure we're going the right way." she assured. She then stepped back, feeling as if she had somewhat interupted an important meeting. Yena ran her fingers through her hair while listening to the rest of the conversation between Benny and Tonia.

((Sorry for taking so long, you two. ^^; If you read down further, you may understand why. heart Enjoy!))midnight_specks "And just so you know, the Females of the Eevee family probably know how to hold their liquor more than any other. I would challenge you to a drink off, but since you're already quite drunk yourself you haven't the faintest chance at winning."
"Hmm. You know you really shouldn't drink that much before a show... It's just ain't proper, you know?"
"Screw Pina Colada, I'll have some wiskey this time. A scotch." She said, sounding annoyed still.
"Woow Leafia. Want me to just give ya the bottle?" Dowle joked."That would be spectacular." After several minutes of hustling and bustling behind the still curtains of the stage, Look stuck his head out from their main parting in the center. He appeared rather groggy, the color still rising to his usually pale face, but he wore a silly grin and waved an antenna merrily at Shentan and Keevo in the back.
"Hey lass!" he called, not bothering to lower his voice even before the other guests of the bar. "About your lovely family heritage and all? That’s very nice, but even if it’s as true as you claim it to be, you said so yourself – you probably know how to hold your liquor more than any other female. And in case you haven’t noticed, we’re male.""She may not have noticed, Look - that’s the trouble. Now get your a** back in here before I have to rip your wings off," came Leer’s muffled voice from behind the curtain. It seemed he was still trying to help set up equipment, and perhaps dressing. The Beautifly-morph did not withdraw his head from behind the curtain, but only laughed and continued his argument with the Leafia-morph at the counter. "And what do you know about proper, lassie? You’re drinking Scotch Whiskey in a bar with grown men!" With his lengthy antennae, Look had an excellent sense of hearing. He had heard every word spoken by the three at the counter on the opposite side of the room, and seemed greatly amused by it all, despite his mocking words.
Watching with his large, blue eyes, you could almost make out astonishment in them as Look observed the girl down glass after glass, until she accepted the whole bottle from the bar-tender. When she finished, he grinned wickedly, his drunken stupor suddenly fallen away, as if he had been acting the whole thing up until then. "We Irish have a little saying, lass, laddie; 'It's the first drop that destroys you; there's no harm at all in the last.'" There was something sinister in his voice then, something strange and perhaps even dangerous. However, before he could say more, Leer's head appeared above Look's, and the latter let loose a yelp before his expression changed to one of playful discomfort. It seemed Leer had tired of Look's antics and climbed on top of him behind the curtains. Luckily, he wasn’t really heavy at all, but then again his twin wasn't too strong. You could nearly see the strain in his face as he looked up at the Dustox-morph, who smiled, unperturbed at being a burden for his brother.
"Indeed, Look, that saying may be true enough, but here's another you've seem to have forgotten: 'Practice makes perfect, there's many do think, but a man's not too perfect when he's practiced at drink'. And another: 'A sea wind changes less often than the mind of a weak man.' So, Shentan," he added, using the name he had heard Dowle call the Leafia-morph earlier. Like Look, his antennae aided him in his superb hearing.
"Pay no mind to this alcoholic lowlife. He'll say he loves a lass one second, and dump her when he’s bored. And trust me. This air-head’s never entertained by anything for too long. Curse of being a flying type, I suppose…come on, you hooligan.""Only if you’ll get off me, dear brother," Look replied sweetly, smiling with his innocent gaze focused intently on his twin. "It's not as if you haven't downed your own bottle of beer, is it? It’ll even go to your head after a time, mark my words.""That's why you're singing lead, dearest twin of mine," Leer answered just as pleasantly, though it was obvious neither brother felt so friendly toward one another at the moment. "And I think I'll get off once you apologize to our young friends back there. You must’ve embarrassed them in front of the whole audience. Being the more sober of us two at the moment, I guess it’s up to me to remind you of our manners."There was a moment of silence, before Look suddenly disappeared behind the curtains. Leer shortly followed, though unwillingly it seemed, as he gave a shout of surprise, followed by a crash, the sound of someone hitting the floor, and a quiet string of muttered curses. Soon after, Look reappeared, this time shoving his way past the heavy curtains and out on the forestage. He wore a dark vest on top of a silvery, sleeveless shirt that was simple and yet somehow stylish. Pushing aside his red-tipped bangs out of his face, he grinned again, his gaze traveling over each and every member of the audience in the bar. They lingered a moment or two longer on Shentan before he began to speak.
"Welcome, good fellows, to our show this afternoon! I know it's rather dreary outside, but hopefully we'll be able to lighten the mood, along with our host Dowle in the back, who so graciously allowed us to perform today."
"My twin brother, Leer, and I, Look, have decided upon five songs to sing for you this performance, and while this is a karaoke bar, we kindly requested the use of merely the music equipment and little else. You see, Leer and I have come up with a few song renditions of our own, which we would like to share with you for your own pleasure.
But please understand; this is nothing formal. Feel free to go on with your lives; leave, enter, drink, laugh, ignore us, tell jokes, be merry amongst yourselves. And if not, then we hope we can provide what little entertainment we can."
He clasped his hands together with a dramatic finality. "And so, without further ado, let's begin with our opening song: 'Poor Unfortunate Souls'. You may have heard this one before…a slightly different version, maybe…but we'd really like to dedicate this one to our friend, Benny, who couldn’t seem to be here with us this afternoon. What a pity.” He shook his head slowly, knowing quite well that he and his twin had purposely neglected to mention to Benjamin their plans for the day. "Anyway, sit back and enjoy the show!"
With those final words, the large curtains parted as the music began to play, quiet at first, then louder and louder. The main bar lights dimmed, and the spotlight that shone on Look followed him as he slowly backed up toward where two microphones were positioned on stands in the shadows of the middle stage. As he entered the darkness, multiple colored lights flickered on middle stage, illuminating the him and the figure of Leer that had been nearly lost in shadow previously. They flashed their smiles, displayed their colorful, wide-spread wings as the music began to escalate still more, grabbed their mics simultaneously, and opened their mouths to sing."I admit that in the past I've been a nasty; They weren't kidding when they called me kinda strange."
Look grinned widely as he sang, his eyes frequently travelling from the audience to Leer and back again as he moved across the stage.
"But you'll find that nowadays, I've mended all my ways, Repented, seen the light, and made a change!"Then Leer took over, returning Look's eerie smile and sharing it with the audience.
"And I fortunately know a little secret; It's a talent that I always have possessed. And dear lady, please don't laugh, I use it on behalf Of the miserable, the lonely, and depressed - ""PATHETIC!" Then they sang in unison, suddenly their voices merging to become one, but still retaining a harmony as they went on with the chorus, sometimes trading off lines, sometimes rejoining together."Poor unfortunate souls! In pain; In need. This one longing to be thinner - That one wants to get the girl - And do we help them? Yes, indeed! Those poor unfortunate souls! So sad; So true. They come flocking to us crying 'Will you help us, pretty please?' And we help them! Yes we do!"Look's wings moved slowly as he sang, giving him a somewhat elegant appearance even as he continued his violent, hard rock gestures with the microphone stand in his hands.
"The men up there don't like a lot of blabber; They think a girl who gossips is a bore. Yes on land it's much preferred for ladies not to say a word And after all dear, what is idle prattle for?"Leer rolled his eyes and shook his head as he continued, as if conversing with Look through the song, though the gestures themselves could have been directed at the Beautifly-morph himself. It was difficult to be sure, only that Leer was certainly enjoying himself.
"They're not all that impressed with conversation; True gentlemen avoid it when they can. But they dote and swoon and fawn, On ladies who withdrawn, It's she who holds her tongue who gets a man!""Poor unfortunate souls! Go ahead! Make your choice! I'm a very busy person and I haven't got all day It won't cost much - Just your voice! Those poor unfortunate souls; So sad; So true. If you wanna cross the bridge, my sweet, You've got the pay the toll - Take a gulp, Take a breath, Go ahead Sign the scroll! Leer and Benny, Now I've got her, boys; The boss is on a roll! You poor unfortunate souls!"
"In pain; In need! This one longing to be thinner - That one wants to get the girl - And do we help them? Yes, indeed! Those poor unfortunate souls! So sad; So true. They come flocking to us crying - 'Will you help us, pretty please?' And we help them! Yes we do!
Those poor unfortunate souls!"As the guitar music faded, Look and Leer clasped each other across the shoulders with one arm, and took an elegant, double bow with their other. Their wings folded behind them as they stood, and they readjusted their microphones and stands in preparation for the next song.((NOTE: From now on, whenever Look & Leer do/sing/say something together, the post will neither be done in either brother's color, but indigo, which I consider to be a merging of. Thanks!))The Beedrill-morph sighed with relief as both girls confirmed having seen the twins earlier in the day. "I can't thank you ladies enough. They just slipped out this morning without telling me, and I didn't get a chance to tell them what day it is. They're just passing through the city, and they do it often, but they're still pretty unaware when it comes to major memorial days and gangs and the morphs that wait in the alleys. They know next to nothing about Rockets, since they don’t come from around here." The truth of it was that while Ben had still been asleep, the twins had taken off from the apartment complex. Since they had flown, there was no evidence as to which way they had gone, and Benny hadn’t been about to fly after them. Worst of all, he realized the twins must have known this as well.
He smiled somewhat nervously and kicked at a random stone on the ground, feeling shy in spite of himself. After all, it had been him who had intruded upon them. "Sorry – I was in such a panic I forgot. My name's Benjamin. The morph I’m looking for is Look, and his twin brother’s name is Leer. They're, um…around 17, I think, but they still act like a couple of kids. Kids hooked on alcohol…" He frowned as he realized that the direction Tonia had indicated was the direction of Lime Light Lounge – the twins' favorite karaoke bar.
"Pleasure to meet you both." He nodded friendly at each young lady in turn, though he glanced at the hand extended to him over the top of his shades rather uneasily. "Uh, um, but I'm sorry to say I don't shake hands. It’s not that I have a problem with people or anything," he assured them quickly. "I just have this…condition. Wouldn't want you to be affected by it. Seems everyone who knows about it is in one way or another," he added with a sheepish smile, shrugging his shoulders while his hands remained buried deep within his pockets.
"Don't feel terrible," he told the Milotic-morph, sneezing once again. "It’s not your fault." The rain was all too frequent for him here in the city. He was used to the gloomy skies, but it did little to lighten his mood. Not that he ever seemed too happy, even on sunny days, but there was just something unexplainably depressing about a rain-drenched, freezing, miserable Beedrill-morph with his antennae, shoulders, and wings drooping while his dark, long bangs dripped water into his eyes. But despite everything, he still tried to continue to smile, if only not to worry the gracious young ladies who had so kindly offered to help him.
"I'd…uh…I'd really appreciate it if you’d both come with me. But I don't want to trouble you if you've got elsewhere to go, or something else to do. After all, today is a holiday." He glanced up to meet their gazes. "And besides, I think I know where those scumbags flew off to. It's really not for two lovely ladies like yourselves. Honestly, I try to avoid the place myself whenever I can." He let out a long, weary sigh. "But I guess today I’ve got no choice…"
Benjamin turned his head to glance in the direction of the bar, muttering silently to himself. "How could those idiots go drinking today, of all days…?!"

((LOL, my goodness Tymiko! (><) ))"Hehe, I was just jokin' lass. Things might get dangerous if I give you this bottle." Dowle chuckled.Shentan looked at him ruthlessly and silently, but after he denied her the bottle she took a deep sigh, and reverted to a lifeless stare down against the counter towards Keevo. She decided she didn't really need the alcohol. It wasn't that special. She sat there quietly and propped her head on the edge of her wrist. Her tail drooped off the chair nearly reaching the floor, and her ears remained highly stout in the air. She remained irritated, but now calmed to the level she always held near. (( ;(^^) LOL, sorry Tymiko, I just can't think of any othr way I can do this without getting confused... (><) Please don't mind!!! cry gonk ))Quote: "About your lovely family heritage and all? That’s very nice, but even if it’s as true as you claim it to be, you said so yourself – you probably know how to hold your liquor more than any other female. And in case you haven’t noticed, we’re male.""She may not have noticed, Look - that’s the trouble. Now get your a** back in here before I have to rip your wings off," Shentan was slightly ammuse at first, but was just as bored now. She didn't feel like replying. 'I didn't say any other female, I said any other...' Shentan thought coldly. She never really liked it when people rearanged her words. 'Idiots.' She thought again.Keevo looked at the boys in the curtain around Shentan's thin shape blocking half his veiw, "They're braindead.." Keevo said with an expression and voice so dull and so lifeless, that it really seemed funny he were judging towards an emosion he had lived and mastered so well himself. Shentan remained, now almost sleeping in deep thought. She had come to the lounge to relax, not become tense. But although Shentan died, Keevo was becoming rather ammused to what the two were speaking of. He sipped at his Virgin, then realizing there was nothing but scraps left on the walls and base of the glass. He stared at it for a second, as if telling it to fill back up, but then reverted his attention to the bugs, deciding it wouldn't. They had just made a statement on manners and apologizing for embarrassment. "I don't think she's listening to you." He said quietly, now assuming they had been able to hear him from their knowledge of Shentan's name. Keevo sat strait on the stool, not leaning or propped on anything, with his feet down and his hands planted in his black sweater. 'They're the ones making fools of themselves..' He thought. There was soon a crash backstage, and Keevo's ears perked up unwillingly.
Veiwing Look enter the stage, Keevo shook Shentan lightly on the shoulder.Shentan open her big black eyes, and stood there facing Keevo for a second. Sighing, she turned opposite of her position and faced the stage, now laying on her right paws wrist. Dowle, finishing off the cleaning of another beer mug, turned his gaze towards Look. He chuckled when Look pointed him out.Shentan's head slowy throughout the song began to hover over her wrist than grind into it. They did seem rather good, very good indeed. She liked the song. Keevo twisted his red stool to them. "They're not half bad."Of coarse they aren't!" Dowle chuckled, 'Those boys do have quite a dash of talent! It's really questionable why they're even performing here of all places." He chucked his usual chucke again, "They're good guys." He smiled proudly. Dowle always seemed to be in a good mood."Hm." Shentan said dropping her head back on her wrist. "They're still obnoxious." Tonia listenend intently, "Yes. There are... Well, some dangers still..." She had looked down, but quickly perked back up, masking her already quite hidden nervous fears. "Benjamin. Nice name." She said smiling, then pulling her hand back slightly with embarassment behind her. She felt she had been much too friendly much too often, and felt terrible that she had possibly offended him. "I'm sorry, I'm the one with no manners." She said quietly now also looking towards the ground, "I don't expect you to tell us anything about yourself, I mean, we are stangers." She laughed under her breath nerveously. "Kids hooked on alcohol, hm?' She giggled quietly.
Don't feel terrible? It's not her fault?! Of coarse it was! Everything was her fault! Everything she made worse! She was filled with embarassment. "Um, well..." The Beedrill-morph sneezed, "Oh! Do you need a tissue?" Tonia pulled a neatly folded clean tissue out of her light green sweater pocket and held it out to him for no more than a second, "Oh! I'm so sorry! I forgot! Uhg!" She accidently dropped the tissue on the ground with annoyance of her own actions, "Habbit..." She said lowly, feeling terrible for her second rude action, and turning once again back at the ground; but only for a second more.
Her head perked right back up again with another smile on it, as well as a blush. She was so angry with herself, but then again she often was. "Yes! I would love to go with you!" This beedreill-morph seemed rather harmless, so as she also offered, it seemed safe that she could accompany. "Nope, nowhere else to go. I was just enjoying the cloudy Holiday." Her smile brightened, and she shrugged, now with her hands both held by eachother behind her back. "And it's ok, wherever the place, I just don't want to be a burden.."
She then stepped forward, now looking in the direction left to her where the two bugs had gone, "You gonna go Yena?" She turned back down to the Mightyena-morph. She then sighed emensly, "I'm really sorry about your treats still... Maybe on the way I could pick you up some more!" She now beamed. Tonia's age fit her appearance quite well, but towards her personality, she was quite childlike, and a bit naiive. She seemed to always want to be happy, always want to help people, and most of the time appeared a very cheerful sort of person, yet. . . she wasn't.
