valkrum dune,i cant stand this place crying noob place,and it the kind of newb that dosent feel like learning gonk

meh, i'd still say Yhoator Jungle / Yuhtunga Jungle is way worse than Valkurm - cause then you have the level 25+ newbies who are still clueless D: and you get anally raped by Smithies, and put to sleep by the Onions of Doom!

I'm currently only level 13, so I'm still in Valkurm - but I hate that hellhole. So many n00b parties... but It's funny watching Lvl 10-11 noob party pull in a Goblin Leecher and get their a** kicked xd
I hate La Theine and Konschtat too. Because I don't have a chocobo yet, and it takes a good 10 minutes to walk across stare

to me its the dunes...an the jungles in kazham, citadel i dont mind all that much...an qufim was alright. An i dont mind walking place to place the only time i wish i had a airship license is when i need to go to a nation or gets some where in a big hurry cause even then choco seems slow.

My time in the Cathedral went sm eek th, i got three levels in one pt, i think, and the last pt i was in in the second jungle in kazama went smooth too,
right know im hateing Crawlers Nest, because there are so many pts and not enough mobs, plus all the lights make me sick, and to make matters worse my last pt was camping right in front of a huge nut sack xp .... but nevertheless things started to go ok...I HATE THE DUNES... i lost hope in thf because i knew i had to go to THE DUNES to get to 15

Having started my own character finally (having played and watched play on those of several friends) I dread the dunes...I saw my friends die there far too often as a result of idiot parties. Unfortunately I have to go there, my stall tactics don't work anymore. I can't stay below level 10 or 11 forever on all my jobs...I soloed up to level 10 because I didn't want to deal with stupid people (newbies aren't necessarily stupid, stupid people aren't necessarily newbies, but idiots abound in many forms) who can't be bothered to check things before they pull them...and I'm beginning to think I'll regret being a WHM then because every idiot and his brother will invite me and I'll get stuck fixing their botches...and dying when I can't and have to use benediction.

Hmm...Which place raped me the most with the worst pt ever....I'd probably say...GC. Even when I was there trying to get to 50, it was crazy with all the trains coming by when I enter the place after getting a pt invite down there and I get hit by the train of EP bats >.< I could barely take a EP Seige Bat at WAR49/THF24 but a RDM nearby gave me like a few Cures and I was able to make it through the fight but hitting the red >.< Then there's the fact people train those Wingrats and the Revenants >.< And last but not least, people that don't just be a good player and find a nice place to die alone and let the WHM come sneak/invisible to get you raised and back to camp or better yet, a Tractor from the BLM or a DRK! Wait...Do either of them get it at the 32-36 range? If not...Then better pray one that's high enough comes walking by.

I have to agree with that. I've seen trains wipe out the entire zone, even with a good number of level 50+ characters. I also hate the Sea Serpent Grotto stare Or at least I did until I was high enough level to run through without things trying to eat me.
