Nac was sitting on a rock looking into the river. He'd choosen one of the larger ones to sit on in the middle of the river. He sighed as his tail scattered his reflection wrose than what it was.
"Blarg... what's the point." He shook his head knowing his sisters weren't coming back anytime soon if at all. He ought to stop missing them and go on to try and meet friends that stay around. "Atleast you know friends you meet once won't just run away like they did." He said to his reflection.

Light blue eyes cast over her path before her, a very...strange one. "Haven't been here before hmm..." Anokai mused as she continued along, her ringed tail swaying back and forth behind her with each step. She wondered if she'd meet any other today, or if it would be the same old nothing, coming and going of strange creatures that thought strange things.
Ah well, so it goes sometimes she mused as she walked along a river's edge.

 [[because I forgot it]] Nac hear something moving along the river's banks, heading towards him. Almost tempted to look and see if it's one of his sisters, but he didn't. He doubted they'd come back and hoping would be useless and only dissapoint him more.
So he stayed still black and green tail flickered softly as he looked about and poked back at the water distorting his reflection again. He let out a sigh, "What's there to do..." He said wondering more towards himself but almost loud enough for those within the vacinity to hear.

Anokai chuckled to herself as she approached this figure she now saw clearly. What was it? A lion or a leopard? Strange, she had never seen one like that before, was it a hybrid, or just some new species of something that was rather strange to look at, and confused others easily?
What if it was both? Hmmm.
"Many things, unless you wish to stare at your reflection all day," she said with somewhat of a smile and smirk at the same time. She just stood there, watched the boy.
Strange strange creatures she was coming across...

Nac looked up startled slightly. Almost enough to roll off his perch. He blinked, "What.... what are you?" He asked having only caught a glance of the maned wolf.
One he regained his compuser he blinked, "Wah.... Ohhh ummm..." He chuckled embaressed suddenly realizeing what she was. "Oh hello." He said with a grin. "Oh staring at myself helps me thinks."

Anokai flicked her ears, stared at the...thing. She still couldn't tell what he was. Very strange, she flicked her tail, walked a circle around him, and still got nothing. "What are you, if you don't mind me asking? Never seen one like you before" She tilted her head, staring at himself? Did he think he was that great? Hmm, he seemed pretty young, whatever he was. "Staring at other things besides yourself might help ya know too."

Nac looked at Anokai. "Well.... I'm half lion and half leopard." he said tilting his head. Blinking, tail flickering looking at her. "Daddy was a lion and mother was a leopard."

"A hybrid?" he asked, mouth open somewhat. She was gawking yes, but was it possible? Evidently, this was strange, very, very strange. Never had she seen such a thing before, mother nature seemed to be changing her rules all of a sudden. "Interesting family then, no wonder I've never seen one like you,...whats your name?" she asked with a flick of her tail.
This was VERY interesting indeed.

His tail flickered as he got up and streached. "Narcissus, Although most normally call me nac." He explained to Anokai as he moved closer to the maned wolf.
"I suppose so, then again my father's got his own quirks." Nac grinned and shurged, "What can I say my family has problems. I think my mother is the only one that doesn't have that many problems."

"Nac it is then," she said simply, full names were too hard to remember anyway, shorter names were easier to remember and to know in the long run. Run, she wanted to stretch her legs really. "Father must be interesting then," to say the least at least.
Every family had its own problems, she had them when she was young as well.
"There always has to be at least one simple minded one in a family to keep it together unless it may fall apart, remember that Nac, for future reference," this boy was young, better he remembered such things.
"That alone is what advice can give to you, besides that I had doddled too much now, I must be on my way, do forgive me that our meeting has been short, however, I'm on a search of my own to find a home, such things are so hard to come by."
Anokai then flicked her tail, and walked past Nac, stopped, turned her head to give him a nod goodbye as to not appear too rude, and then she darted off.
The strange ones she met.
Why must she waste her own time?

He listened to what she had to say his head tilted. Nac nodded, "Yeah sorta, didn't meet him for long. He had to leave again and the girls kept crowding around him." He sighed.
"Yes, simple minded..." He paused tilting his head wondering what excatly counted as simple minded but figured he'd ask mother later.
"Aw okay, well I'll see you around maybe? I'm sure there's pleanty of places here in the jungle." He watched her darted off and gave a wave with his paw and got up to find his mother.
