BasicsAt the beginning of the series, Sakura is a Genin-level student of Kakashi Hatake and teammate of Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha. Initially, Sakura's stamina and overall talent were quite below average, having had only used a few skills over the course of the series, the most advanced of which is dispelling genjutsu. Sakura's main strengths are her intelligence and her great chakra control. She was able to climb trees using her chakra on her first try while it took several days of constant training for Naruto and even Sasuke to manage it.
Inside Sakura resides the "Inner Sakura", which seems to be much more ill-tempered than Naruto's demon fox. Inner Sakura seems to represent an assertive part of her personality and mostly serves as comic relief. Sakura's typical gentle responses are juxtaposed with the Inner Sakura's constant "Shannaro" (しゃーんなろー). The phrase has no literal meaning, but is usually translated as "Hell yeah", "Hell no", or "Damn it", depending on the situation (in the English anime, it's translated as an angry and forceful "Cha!"). Inner Sakura is often attributed to being Sakura's defining ability, aside from her chakra control, much like Sasuke's Sharingan or Naruto's demon fox. Inner Sakura actually exists as a separate spirit within Sakura, which came in handy during her battle with her rival, Ino Yamanaka. When Ino hit Sakura with her Mind Body Switch Technique, she only suppressed the regular Sakura. As such, Inner Sakura, after a little prodding by Naruto, was able to emerge and force Ino to leave. After this point, Inner Sakura only appears once in episode 197 of the anime, when Sakura fails to notice that a smoke bomb was set off the night before, and once in chapter 250 of the manga, when Naruto tries to refuse a mission assigned by Tsunade. Sakura, however, does occasionally exhibit traits that would have originally have been confined to Inner Sakura, though they are rarely seen (they become more frequent after the timeskip, a sign that Sakura is becoming more comfortable with herself and is showing her true nature more often).Ino Age 12-13 in Part I

Basics Ino Yamanaka is a look-obsessed member of Asuma Sarutobi's Team 10, consisting of herself, Shikamaru Nara, and Choji Akimichi. Initially, Ino seems to dislike her teammates due to Choji's size and Shikamaru's unpopularity, though in actuality she holds a strong bond with the both of them. This bond exists in part because of their fathers being teammates in their youth, thus making Ino, Shikamaru, and Choji the second generation of the Ino-Shika-Cho Trio. Ino and her teammates all wear the same type of earring: a small silver hoop.
At her graduation, Ino graduated as one of the best kunoichi in her class. As the daughter of a flower shop owner, Ino is particularly skilled in the way of the flower (Ikebana). Being a Yamanaka, Ino specializes in mind-altering jutsu, allowing her to control others with relative ease.Ino and SakuraIn her early school years, Sakura was timid and was occasionally made fun of and bullied because of her large forehead, until Ino Yamanaka approached and befriended her, giving her a ribbon and telling her not to hide behind her bangs. Sakura looked up to Ino for her looks and ability, but while she appreciated Ino's friendship, she couldn't ignore the feelings of inferiority Ino induced in her. At one point, during a flower arrangement lesson, Sakura wonders whether Ino was like a fully bloomed flower, and if so, then what was she? Ino cheered her up, telling her that even a bud eventually becomes a flower, and there's no point to a flower unless it blooms. Their friendship continued until it became clear that both of them were infatuated with Sasuke Uchiha; Sakura felt that she could never equal Ino, let alone surpass her at anything, while she was trapping herself as Ino's mere sidekick in her mind. She handed Ino her ribbon back and proclaimed that they were rivals from that point on. InoSaku : : Why? I don't know much at all, I don't know wrong from right. All I know is that I love you, tonight. Why InoSaku you ask? Well, I personally think that they would make the perfect couple. In the early relationship they were best friends, and thy were always there for each other. Ino was the one who made Sakura who she is today. But Sakura could never live her life to the fullest unless she stopped lurking around in Ino's shadow, therefore making them rivals. Giving Ino back the ribbon was Sakura's way of telling her she didn't need her help anymore, and that she would never lose to her. Ino at first didn't want to take the ribbon back, but then realized it was for the best. At the begining of the series, they would both probably claim that they hated each other, even though that wouldn't be entirly true. Later on in the series you see that Ino still cares for Sakura, and would risk her life for her. During the Sakura vs. Ino fight they both have a hard time fighting each other at first, showing that they were still clinging to old feelings of friendship. When the match was ended in a draw, it proved both of the girls points right, that they would not lose to each other. As the series goes you can watch as Ino and Sakura begin to rekindle their friendship. They are still holding on to their rivalry, but it is no longer bitter, and is more of a friendlier one. Like their competing one friend against another.
Well, now that I've gone through all the backround that you already probably knew, let me get on to answering the question. InoSaku would be a couple for the ages. It wouldn't come to an easy end because both girls refuse to give up on anything. They would have their fights..probably many fights, but they would always make up. They're both ultimatly unseperable, so they would make the perfect couple. After all, in the end, you always end up with your best friend.

To take off, my disguise, just in time to hear you cry. "What's with the Bloody Valentines?" I know that this question is going to be asked, so I might as well explain myself. Have you ever heard the song? Well you should listen if you haven't. I know the song is about something different, but this is how I picture it. The verse "You mourn the death of your bloody valentine, one last time" made me think of how Sakura was mourning the loss of Sasuke, even if he didn't die. The verse "Oh my love, please don't cry" made me think of Ino comforting Sakura since she was upset about the loss of Sasuke. Then, the verse "I'll wash my bloody hands, and we'll start a new life" made me think of Ino washing away the guilt of ever hurting Sakura, and them starting a new life together. And last the verse "I don't know much at all, I don't wrong from right, all I know is that I love you tonight" Made me think of how they didn't know much about love, but they loved each other. <333. I know, I think too much...

For those into fanfictions, I really recommend reading Apologetic. It's one of the best fanfictions I have ever read. And it's rated T for those people who don't like the whole hentai thing. :3
