I've been thinking, what if Itachi had never left nor had he killed his family, do you think KakaSasu could've happend the way it did? Or better yet, would KakaSasu had ever happen?

I believe it wouldn't have. Their relationship is based on the facts that they're so similiar and went through very similiar events in their lives. Basically it would be strictly a Mentor/Student relationship and nothing more to it. That's sadly, what I believe...Though, there is always that slim chance that Kakashi would favor Sasuke due to the fact that he's an Uchiha and something more might build from that.

Wow, good question. XD!
I think it's all dependant on how Sasuke turns out metally. I think he'd turn out to be a happy and hot-headed person. Kakashi would pay extra attention to him because he's an Uchiha, and finds out he's a bit like Obito. *shrugs* I like to think that even if Kakashi didn't see himself in Sasuke, he'd find things that he liked about him, instead of wanting to fix him.

Wow. This is a hard one. I would WANT to say it would exist, and happen. But really I don't think it would happen because Kakashi wouldn't be able to give him the 'father' role. Or even meet him. All though I wish it would happen for real, it most likely wouldn't if Itachi didn't do those things... crying

I doubt it. I mean, I don't think Sasuke would've been as close to Kakashi if he'd had his family. and still had his favorite brother.

Um...I think would still become a top student, just with Itachi's help this time instead of just through sheer determination. This mean's he'd stay in the same team...which means he'd still meet Kakashi. As for whether or not a relationship could happen...he might become Obito-like, though I kind of doubt it since Obito is more like Naruto than the younger Sasuke that I remember. Which means Kakashi might think he's interesting and nice, but might not necessarily fall in love with him. I guess it depends? sweatdrop

I find the answers quite difficult to produce but I manage to scrape up some things.
One, Sasuke's attitude would be similar but since he doesn't seek revenge he would have different goals, different point of view of the people and the world around him, different life style, will have some hobbies other than training his butt off and he would try to impress his father.
But more likely, KakaSasu will exist. But the question is... how will it co-exist with the different life style that Sasuke now lives in. There could be rules and curfews for all we know, since we don't know that Fuguku could possibly have some rules about staying out late and do some chores.
I would say KakaSasu would work. Kakashi would still about to see that Sasuke is sort of like him in a way.
