My favourite character is, as my avatar indicates, Evangeline A K McDowell. She may like acting evil, but underneath she has a good heart. When Negi was injured after his one-to-one with Chachamaru, she sent Chachamaru over with a healing salve. She also chose to rescue the class in Kyoto, when she could have run off out of range of the curse while she had the Dean in "rubberstamp Hell". She is a very harsh teacher, but is actually holding back a lot - so her lessons have paid off in turning Negi from a wimp to a decent mage (in Japan, most masters ARE that strict). She is also a very lonely character, who deserves some happiness in her long existence - her ongoing quest for Nagi, like Negi's own, is rather touching, especially that brief encounter in Volume 13. Yes, she's been "walking in the Light" for a very long time, as one can see smile

^^ Fate Averruncus is going to be fairly important later on, methinks.


My second-favorite character is Eva-chan, because honestly, I think she's a good character. She is strong, has an interesting personality (who in the series doesn't? o.O), and more than that, she isn't some helpless little child like most of the others. She knows what trouble is. Plus, you know... Goth-loli vampire... <3


Number 1, though, is Sayo. Yeah, the ghost. ^^; See, I saw Episode 7 of Negima!? (the new anime version... which is SO much better than the old), and from that point on, I had to admit that she is the cutest character. Ever. And I like cute. *Grins*

I like a lot of the characters but here's the list and why.

Yue: She's so negitive and so caring of Nodoka. Actually one of the few characters I prefer in the old anime because you actually get to see more of her personallity (but still think new show is better)

Kaede: Other than the fact that she's a super slick ninja, she's very motherly and mature, to Negi and the twins. Plus I can't wait to see what her rare form is.

Zazie: She's not very talkitive, especially in the older anime (is done more justice in the new one) but she's so random and so awesome. She's pretty mysterious and probably powerful.

Ku Fei: She's the dumb blonde who is a kung fu master. Seriously, how can anyone not like that?

Setsuna: Well, other than the fact that she's awesome, yeah. She cares very much about Konoka and doesn't really understand the world due to her origins but her pactio rare form is awesome.

Well, Fate would be my last one but I don't know much about him so that's all

I like Kotoro, Ako, and Mana.

Technically, it isn't a new anime version or wtvr u wanna call it. It's the other negima series thing. Totally different topic then real Negima xP same person wrote it though. i guess a doujinshi from the owner...?
