My new weekly deck analysis.

This Week:The Bazooper Deck

3 Bazoo the Soul-Eater:The linchpin of the deck everything revolves around him. This deck specializes in getting plenty of food for our hungry gorilla and later returning those monsters for a win. A very solid card and 2500 atk after 3 removals makes monarchs cry.

3 Card Trooper razz art 2 of this decks strategy is to abuse this cute lil' machine. His ability to quickly make bazoo-food is central here. Also when the little guy dies you get to draw another card further thinning the deck and furthering your win. That and a 1900 beatstick is nothing to laugh at. The only downside is that he goes back to a little 400 atk guy when you end but thats almost a non-issue since we dont really mind when he dies(more cards for us after all)

2 Gravekeeper's Spy:I remeber the old Chaos Sorcerer days when the saying was "Spy equals Return" was well known. He's used here as both a deck thinnner and as a great protective wall against anything smaller than a Cyber Dragon.

3 Snipe Hunter:With all the draw power in this deck as well as its desire to pull a big kill with return it almost necessary to have our Hunter. His extremely versatile effect means that we can turn any useless or spae(over the 6 card hand limit) into destruction. And if we need a few more monsters to fuel Bazoo then hes more than happy to dump them.

2 Cyber Phoenix:A card that had a space in EVERY Chimera deck last format this phoenix hasnt lost any of its heat. He allows for increased draw as well as being a machine,i'll discuss why thats good later. His protection effect,while nice,is really kind of just a small side bonus as many destruction and removal cards don't target. But hey a nice sakuretsu-free swing is good for me.

1 Jinzo:Ahh yes everyone's favorite old school Secret Rare Jinzo is just another peice of our otk puzzle. His trap-stopping effect allows me to drop a return of Dimension Fusion even when they have spells and traps. And when i play him on the feild he provides a great protection effect for my real heavy hitter(a 2500 atk Bazoo)

1 Dark Magician of Chaos:I know what your thinking, "Whats a LV8 monster doing in here?" Well look at it like this, i NEVER plan on normal summoning him. Ideally i will mill him off and the remove him and use him as a HUGE hitter when I use a Return. Also his second effect of removing monsters he kills from play helps me stop annoying recruiters that may try and spoil my day. Couple that with the ability to recover any broken spell i want and we have a winner.

1 Morphing Jar biggrin o you like to draw cards? I do. And this guy lets me do that. Morphing Jar allows me to overextend and bit and still be able to count on a full hand. That and his effect will often let me dump some dead-weight monsters from my hand to feed my hungry Bazoo. Sure my opponent gets 5 cards too but seeing as how useful it is here i'd say its necessary.

3 Magical Merchant:More mill toward the OTK Magical Merchant allows me to be sure not only that im milling ONLY monsters but also lets me pull one of several useful spells or traps necessary for the victory.

3 Cyber Dragon:Who doesn't like a free summon? Cyber Dragon lets me push the attack and still be able to set a few cards for protection. And hes a key part of another card in this deck that i'll get to later.

2 Exiled Force:Facedowns scaring you? Opponent got a monster thats messing up your plans? Then Exiled Force is for you! He kills any suspicious Facedown monsters that i dont want to attack and he can kill those monsters that just wont die(Reaper im looking at you)

Total Monsters:24
A bit high on the monster count i know but with all our mill power AND the need to have several monsters for Bazoo to power up on id say its just fine.

1 Dimension Fusion:To many people who played competatively last format this card meant certain death was only seconds away. Its almost the same here. For the semi-high cost of 2000 LP you can pull back as many removed from play monsters you want. However be sure to use this early game as later on the opponent could have removed monsters that you dont want to give back.

1 Snatch Steal:One of those cards that gets put in every deck but many people dont understand why. Besides the obvious taking a monster and tributing it Snatch Steal has many other jobs. For one it allows you to remove high-atk or other hard to kill monsters. And second it can often be used to force a 2 for 1 out of the oppoent. For example if i snatch an oposing monarch and attack with it my opponent has to choose wether to take the 2400 or to kill their own monster in which case i've forced them to use up 2 cards to my 1. Defenitely belongs in ANY deck that plans on attacking.

1 Future Fusion:Remeber when i said id explain why being a machine is good? Heres why. Future Fusion was used last meta to dump machines for a BIG Chimera. But in this deck were using is simply to mill of a number of machines from the deck. Sure, if we pick Chimera then we lose our feild but a good player can prepare for that easily. And the reward of dumping that many monsters that fast is just too god to pass up.

1 Heavy Storm:Traps can REALLY hurt this deck when it wants to swing big and something bad happens. Heavy Storm stops all that. This behemoth will clear the feild for your final strike and can be returned with DMoC for more fun.

3 Smashing Ground:This deck like to have a clear open feild to attack through or at least nothing with a dangerous effect. Running 3 copies of Smashing Ground lets the player revoval any potential threats and clear the way for our OTK or just a big swing with our hungry Soul-Eater.

1 Premature Burial:Bazoo dies. All monsters do and despite our protection theres not a whole lot we can do to stop it. Premature lets Bazoo have a second chance at life and can also be used to bring back a Trooper for more milling or possibly a Dark Magician of Chaos for some added shenanigans.

Total Spells:8
I know it seems obscenely low but we need room for our extra monsters and our lovely traps. Also running only the most essential spells leaves room for other cards that speed our win.

3 Return From the Different Dimension:The real gem of the deck is right here. Far more versatile than Dimension fusion here this card comes at the STEEP cost of half your LP. Late game that might not be so bad and it certainly can't ever kill you.(though a well placed ring after this can) Also since its a trap we can use it in the battle phase once we know we have a clear shot at the opponent. 3 is a must here.

1 Mirror Force razz art of the "Trinity" of traps Mirror Force is the best pretective card out there. A foolish opponent can easily let you get a 3+ for 1 with this. And just having this card in your deck can make an opponent play carefully around facedowns.

1 Torrential Tribute razz art 2 of the Trap Trinity. Being able to wipe the slate clean in Main Phase 1 and then swing with return is great and of course theres that fact that you can punish an overextending opponent makes this card amazing. even killing our own monsters isnt horrible here because they just go to fuel up Bazoo even more.

2 Skull Lair:Remeber this card? No? Most people don't but its amazing here. This card provides me with both solid protection but also with a further way to fuel a Return if i cant draw a Bazoo or they have all died. Killing monsters AND fueling return? Ill take 2 please.

2 Sakurestu Armor:Im sure everyone knows why this is here ut for the samke of the review ill explin it. Its just a simple 1 for 1 protection card that i can use to protect a weakened Trooper or even a Bazoo that didnt have its souls that turn. Kepping your oppoents monster count is great and youll make them scared to attack you when you have any facedowns at all.

Trap Total:9
Obviously the 3rd part of the Trap Trinity is Ring of destruction. However in this deck where we will be paying LP by the halves and with opponents having ring its better to leave it out. Outside of that all our traps are either geared toward protection or helping the win along.

your deck has a bad pretty big flaw. skill drain will completely kill your decks focus. if it's activated before you can get jinzo out, your doomed. not to mention accompynied with herald of green light, your heavy storm is pointless since the herald isn't on the field. that deck is powerful, but easy countered by a few rare cards.

Similar concept to what I had with my light RFG deck. Toss a bunch of stuff away, remove it, and then summon en masse with Return or Dimension fusion.

Works well with Fusion Gate too; not in this case though...In general

i do see 2 good cards you might want to include in this deck.
1. Soul Absorption. you gain 500lp when a card is removed and it's continuous. if it's destroyed by a smart opponent, more food. if not, more lp.
2. Gren Maju Da Eiza. 3 star monster whose atk/def = # of your cards removed X 400. that means 6 cards (2 Bazoo effects) is 2400/2400 for Eiza after 7 cards removed it will easily overpower Bazoo

that aside ok i apologize about insulting you multpile times
however saying that this deck has a HUGE flaw to a few easily stopped or weak themes kind of sets me off.
ill just have to work on my temper lol
anywho to be honest this deck has almost no flaws seeing as how this deck type has won an SJC and top 8ed at a few others.
