This probably isn't a welcomed topic...I'm pretty sure, actually. But I am just really aching with these urgent questions about it. If things go badly in this topic, I can just erase what I wrote and talk about...I dunno, mister green or something. But I would like to at least attempt to get some answers from this...so here it goes...
Is suicide a sin? I know God doesn't like suicide, but is it true that you will go to hell from taking your life, even if you are a true Christian?

Well.... I guss there are several things that go into that subject. However, I do think that is a good subject to bring up 3nodding It is a sin, like lieing or any of that. So proubably people can ask for forgivness for it before they die and they will be forgiven. ( I really hate the thought of suiside and just doing it partly because you can.... emo emo )

Yeah, I can see where this can hit a few sore spots, but still, it's a question I've pondered about myself. I know the Bible says 'thou shalt not kill' and I'm fairly certain your own life in included in that commandment, but I'm not entirely sure how that's dealt with in the afterlife. Although I am inclined to agree with Angel; suicide isn't the unforgivable sin, so there must be SOME way to be forgiven for it.

The only reason anyone considers it an unforgiveable sin is because 1) you've murdered 2) you're dead and can not ask for forgiveness. Only those who ask for forgiveness are forgiven.

But denying the LORD is the only unforgivable sin, and even that is forgivable if you ask for forgiveness. If you don't then ... but all the other sins aren't unforgivable if you don't have the chance to ask for pardon.

I'm just answering the question as to why it would be considered unforgiveable. I never said I agreed with it.
