What does everyone think? This is what I say:
Aang: Toph and Aang look really cute together, and they've got the whole opposites attract thing going on. But they're kinda TOO different. Kinda like Zutara.
Sokka: These two look good together too, and while their personalities clash sometimes, they're similar in manyways too, which is good. The only problem here is age.
Zuko: Kind of an odd couple, but are good for the same reasons as Sokka/Toph. It also has the same problem: age.
If anyone likes to pair Toph with someone else, let me know. I think that some people ship Toph/Teo, am I right?

Since I'm a Taang fan I'll say my opinion on it.
(Tokka fans, feel free to post. I won't bite this time.)
- Yes, the whole opposites attract thing but I'm not talking about the elements. Toph was closed off from everything during her life. Aang is a nomad. Aang can show Toph what it's like to be free; something she hasn't had before. When they left her family, Aang was Toph's ticket to experience the world and she sacrificed everything for it. In my view, she was willing to sacrifice everything to be with Aang.
- By being together, a little bit of each other can rub off on the other. Aang can be a little more serious and Toph can have a little more fun (basing this on the episode where Toph teaches Aang).
- The age thing but I don't really consider that much of a pro or con (unless we're talking about a huge age difference)
I know there are one or two other reasons in my head but it's late and I'm blanking out right now.

I like Tokka! If Sokka/Suki don't work out, I want Toph to get with Sokka. It's cute.

honestly......i cant see Toph with any of the characters from avatar...her and Teo i havent really thought about but i think maybe Toph needs to break out of her shell first before she dates anyone! and besides, isnt she only like.....12?!?

Aang: Most likely to happen of all the shippings. If Zutara works out, then I'm fine with this shipping. I don't think it will happen though - it's kind of too weird to have those two together.
Sokka: In "The Serpent's Pass" there was hinting on this shipping. I don't really think it will happen though, unless Suki is dead. -curses herself for saying that- SUKI IS NOT DEAD, SUKI IS NOT DEAD, SUKI IS NOT DEAD! If she's alive, then Sokka will probably end up with Suki for the rest of the show. Plus, as you said, the age difference. Although, I don't think it's too bad.
Zuko: Highly doubtful. I don't like this pairing like, at all. Zuko is just way too old for Toph, and Toph's too short. He also probably wouldn't have the patience to deal with her when things happen because of her blindness, such as running into him (like Sokka) and putting the poster on backwards. Plus, I really dislike this shipping. If it happens, I shall be in shock.
Teo: They're cute together. But... did they ever even meet? I don't think so.

Eh, being a Toko fan, I'm not sure I agree with you all.
I've always seen Toko as an after the war thing, when they're both older and more mature. She starts hanging around with Iroh, and things go from there.
As for Aang and Sokka... I truly believe that Aang belongs with Katara. If Suki survives, Sokka would definitely be with her. If she doesn't... He'd be too depressed or to afraid that she would die to even start another relationship.

- Their personalities are similar. They seem to have the same kind of stubborness and sense of "humor."
The one thing that could possibly stop Toko: Their personalities are TOO similar. I can see one thing coming between them and causing them to go at each other's throat.
But yeah, no solid evidence here. It's more of a "hey, it could happen some time after" thing.

Sokka, definitely. I'm amazed that anyone can see something OTHER than this, but hey, that's just me. They get on well, look incredibly cute together (see: beginning of The Crossroads of Destiny), and are similar without being identical.

Sokka. I love that couple, and I really don't see any problem with the age. Think about it this way: When he's 33, she'll be 30. Does it really looks that much of an age gap then?
Their relationship would be something that would develope slowly, I think, so the bodersome age difference would slowly go away.

For cannon, I like Tokka the best. But out-of-cannon, I like Taang. Yes, I'm a MAJOR Kataang fan, but Taang is cute too. I like Toko for out-of-cannon as well.
For Toko... Well, it definitely wouldn't happen before the war. Zuko is almost five years older than Toph, and when you're young, it makes a bigger difference. I think that they would haveto bond as friends first (presuming neither of them dies) and then MAYBE something would happen. I can definitely see them as friends. Perhaps "abusive" or even "grudging" friends, but still friends.
For Taang... Over a long, long period of time, I think they could work out. But Aang's crush on Katara is too massive to be ignored. In some fanfics, I've seen Aang lose his feelings for Katara as an effect of Azula's lightning strike. (One example is "Book 3: Fire" by xcgirl08. Read it, it's really good.) As for the opposites attract thing... I agree that they could rub off on each other, but I think they're just TOO different. Aang needs someone caring, like Katara, not someone tough, like Toph. As just friends, they can still rub off on each other and be realyl tight friends, but I can't see anything romantic between them happening in cannon.
For Sokka... Well, Suki would have to be dead. And, sorry to say this guys, but I think she is dead. After all, since WHEN has Azula decided to be merciful to her opposition? If she wants them dead, they are going to die. Sokka will find out, somehow, that Suki is dead, and mourn, blah blah blah... I don't think that Toph will be exactly the one to comfort him, because that's not her thing. But I think that, after a while, she'll be the one to help him move on by acting normal, and helping him be his old self again. Then, things will go on from there. I can see Toph and Sokka getting together AFTER the war.
Toph/Teo, I think, is just one of those things where people randomly mash two characters together and think, Hey, this is cool! I don't ship it, but it is an interesting idea...

Toph seems to balance out Aang's crazy energy. And a not-so-energetic Aang is always a welcome sight.
