Wouldnt It be nice? A female character model, something you rarely see in online shooters. I myself even have hopes for it in Halo 3. Bungie of course has mentioned no such thing but we can dream cant we? It wont make a huge difference condering that they wear big MJOLNIR armor...but there will be subtle differences. Like in the chest, body shape and their voice when they fall to their death (haha). But although Bungie has not announced anything about it, it MIGHT just happen. I've heard that the producers did a little fiddling around with female SPARTAN Models (keep your mind out of the gutter!) so there might be a slight chance of it. Keep your fingers crossed. And IF it does happen I doubt it will be finished in time for Halo 3 Beta, we would have to wait for the full game.

Well hey, if Halo 3 follows somewhat of the books (Halo: Fall of reach, the flood, first strike, ghosts of onyx) which i doubt) we may see John's (Spartan 117) allies like Kelly, Linda and Will who are other spartans that fought with him. And Kelly and Linda are female spartans. Like i said xD highly unlikely but maybe... just maybe..

Hmm... well Nicole (Another female spartan) is a playable character in Dead or Alive 4. So, I dont think it's entirely unreasonable to hope for a female playable character in H3.

That would be really interesting if that happened, but you would only get to play as the female spartan in CO-OP mode. Because the man character in the games and books is the master chief. their could be a level where you could play as a female spartan, but who knows

The spartan in DOA4 is not cannon, so we won't get her. However, I've been hoping that Kelly and Linda would be at least mentioned in the Halo 3 storyline. Those two kicked a**.

Unfortunatly, it can't happen because of the events of Ghosts of Onyx. All the spartans but MC are trapped on the shield world.
