I seem to remember talking about this in the past, but I don't know what thread it was in.
ANYWAY, I finally managed to hook up my Nintendo USB connector, so now my Wii and DS are internet-compatible. I'd love to send someone Wii Mail or play in someone's Animal Crossing town...
So, if anyone wants to connect, post/send your friend codes!
I figure this might be a good all-purpose thread for non-Gaia games, MMOs, etc, if the guild ever wants to meet up. Or not. Whatever. xd

Well, I'm hoping to have a Wii myself here in about a month or two. Still haven't gotten any games that can be played online, I think... I'd have to check through them all. >.>;
As for other games, I'm on plenty of games. @.@; If only I could find someone to play some Chromehounds with, I'd get back into that game, maybe. >.<; Then again, if I could find someone to play any game with, I'd probably end up playing it. >.>; redface Kinda bored at the moment of playing most MMO's and I'm stuck on playing Supreme Commander and Titan Quest until CnC3 comes out later this month. gonk >.>;

You can do lots of neat things with the Wii internet, but none of them involve games...
Well, actually, you can buy classic games with it.
Anytime is fine. Actually, I don't know what I'm doing this summer...

For Animal Crossing on the DS, you can take it online. If a friend gives you their friend code, somehow you can both be in the same town, like your friend visit yours or you visit your friend's, depending on who uses the friend code and whatnot. Kinda like how Mario Kart DS is online capable, I think. >.>;

Ah, the Gamecube version is not internet-connecting (as far as I know). It's essentially the same as the DS version, though.
I do know that you can do some neat things with item codes in the GC version if you copy it exactly...
Wii internet is AMAZING IN A BOX.

Alright, so my Wii is downloading an update right now, and I'll guess that it's a monster of an update since it's taking absolutely forever to download. sweatdrop gonk Moving about 3x as fast now that I've moved the channel of my router from channel 6... sweatdrop Made a difference suprisingly... anyways, when I get it finally online and surf around a bit, I'll try checking out online capabilities of it. ninja xd

So... how's mail work for the Wii? Anyone know? sweatdrop
I think it's got something to do with the 16 digit Wii number thingy that's on the cover of the address book, but I'm not sure about anything past that. sweatdrop Anyways, I think I'll throw mine up here and see if anyone tries inputting in and dropping me a line. ninja

I'll definitely add you the next time I hook up my Wii Internet. I can't have it on all the time because supposedly it messes with my parents' real Internet, and it's in the basement anyway.
eek Actually, I have no idea what my Friend Code is.

If you open up your address book in the Wii Mail Menu (where it shows you what you've been doing while the system's been up and running), it'll say your friend code right on the front of it... at least, that's where mine was. sweatdrop gonk 3nodding
