Saw her on the welcome page and figured she should defintely have a topic. Let's see here....What' your fav. Yoko Kanno project??? I personally loved what she did for Escaflowne, but there's sooo much more than just that.

******** cliche, The Seatbelts was where Yoko Kanno shined the brightest.
I loved the music she did for Record of Lodoss War... well, the intro song anyways with Maaya Sakamoto. sweatdrop

question I don't get it.
I was just watching Cartoon Network (not really, it was on in the background) and Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex came on and I saw the credits had Kanno.

Kind of like Escaflowne, wtf kind of name is that??? and Ghost in the SHell wtf??? and umm...yeah they're all F-ed up names, Macross wtf??....hmm, does that explain it??

Well, they are popular anime series, which is good for her b/c she'll get more exposure. She seems more connected to the Cowboy Bebop series, and I don't blame everyone because I LOVE Cowboy Bebop, especially the music.

Escaflowne is how I first heard her, or rather knew of her. I think she's a modern genious in music. Her and bjork are my women of music. *nods*
