The dark lioness stalked the shadows tiredly, her long tail swishing from side to side behind her as she did so, ice blue eyes glancing about cautiously. The lioness yawned widely and then plopped onto her haunches, tail still flicking and one of her blue-toed paws slightly lifted.
"Where the hell is Kigao? I'm not waiting on him forever." She grumbled, glaring at the tree in front of her. At least she was near the edge of what seemed to be some sort of grove, and there were trees to keep her dark fur from attracting too much heat.
"KIGAO!" She shouted into the open, wishing he'd hurry up and get to her. Vurumai swished her tail once again, impatiently, and then gave another yawn, ears laying back as her jaws stretched.

The cream colored male hurried his steps and his big muscular body as he moved over the savannah he still hadn't gotten use to this big body of his and he could appear to be clumsy sometimes just because he newly grow.
Kigao blinked and scanned the area with his light green innocent eyes he still had that innocent childish look accourding to his step parents but he was still a child well at heart not by looking at his masculine body. That body did definelty not say hey look at me i am a baby it was more of the opposite.
He was going to meet up with his new friend Varumai but he totally had forgotten where that cave was? shouldn't it be somwhere here he wisperd as he walked around and looked.

Vurumai rolled her eyes and then stood again and wandered away from the shade a moment. "Kigao!" She squealed childishly, then took off, running at him full speed. "There you are!" She giggled aas she rubbed up against his side. "Take you long enough to find me, or what?" The gray and blue lioness snorted slightly and then flicked the tuft of her tail against his cheek.
"I've been waiting here all morning." She exaggerated. Of course though, she had to make him feel bad, even just a little. A sly little smirk snuck across her muzzle and she nipped at his flank, then spun around and stood next to him. "It's pretty, isn't it?" She started, pausing for a moment and glancing around. "Good for playing hide and seek, and I'm a PRO." Vurumai boasted, dartinig off again and into the trees, trying to hide from Kigao, though he could easily follow her scent to find her, if he wanted to.

Kigao blushed a little and looked down in the ground when Varumai cmae up to him he felt a little stupid he hadn't noticed her. But maybe it was good that she found him..Then he blushed some more when she stroke her tail over his cheek..ohh what was she doing? he wasn't use to things like that at all sure he had always liked Varu but he didn't recorgnize feelings like this..
" I...i am sorry i was hungry and stopped on the way...are you ok? "
He nodded yes it was pretty but he had barley looked around before Varu was gone again she wanted to play now? he blinked and followed the lioness now...picking up her scent wasn't hard.
" Varu! you want to play now? "

The dark-furred lioness giggled again as she hid behind a mossy stump, laying herself on the soft, spongy and slightly damp ground, then peeking around the side of it, watching for Kigao. She twitched her tail slightly and gave a small sigh of relief. It sure was nice and cool laying here in the shade, on the cool, damp floor.
Vurumai peeked around the stump again, and then pulled back behind it as she spotted Kigao. Another little giggle errupted from the lioness, and then licked the blue toes on one of her front paws quickly before peeking out again.

Kigao followed Varumai into the bushy and swampie area what could she be hiding? with her dark fur she could probably hide easy compared to him with his light and purple coat. He blinked a little with his light green eyes as he sniffed trough the bushes...
" Varu...i know that you are good at hiding but i tought you wanted to talk? "
He wasn't really sure if she wanted to talk or play he just asummed that she wanted to talk since she told him to go meet her. His purple mane even had a nice color in this light and he always looked so pure even if he got a little irritated.
" Are you mad at me Varu? "

"Of course I'm not mad at you, cutie-pie." Vurmai giggled again as she leapt out from behind the stump and pounced him playfully, leaving him pinned underneath her on the soft ground.
"I was hoping we could just spend the day together, I've missed you lately." She said as she rolled off of him and then licked his cheek.
The dark-furred lioness wiggled her shoulders a little and then stood, grinning down at him. Vuru knew that Kigao wasn't much more than a big softy, and she loved him for it. "Maybe we can go for a hunt once it starts to cool down?" She suggested, flicking her tail and batting her eyelashes at him sweetly.

He took a deep breath and looked realived ah that was great! he smiled a little nervously and licked his lips sure he was big and muscular but he was also really soft he was probably the kind of guy that would run of if a fight got to bad since he wasn't that kind of guy that actually knew how strong he was. But feeing was something he knew since he had been doing that since he was a cub.
" Ahhh good...and sure if you want to "
The male wasn't very good at feelings either sure he liked Varumai but he had no idea what this could lead to..
" Oh food well if you take the lead i go after you ok "

Vurumai giggled at Kigao, and then swished her tail again. "Well, It's still a little hot to be putting out so much energy, so why don't you let me show you the little pond I found hidden among these trees, and we can have a drink, and maybe go for a dip. Then we can hunt?" She suggested, lifting a brow delicately and shifting her weight on her blue-toed paws.
"It's really nice, you know." The dark-furred female added, grinning. "Hidden, and so pretty, with all the trees, and vines, and flowers all around it. Such a nice little resting place." She chuckled, resting her icy-blue gaze upon the male.

Oh to hot for food...this male was really a male that loved food he had been really food happy since he was a child maybe because he was the only child? well but it was to hot right now but a drink wouldn't hurt. He nodded his cream head and is purple-silverish mane wagged nicley in the wind. Kigao had gotten pretty big compared to when he was a little cub he could never imagine he would suvive this long.
Then he peeked down at the dark female when she leaned on him but that just made him blush and he felt a little wierd. This male had never experiensed any feeling that leaned to love before so he had no idea what all these strange and warm feelings was or maybe it was just the weather? Kigao was very easy to read and it wasn't very hard to see the pink blush on his cheeks on his pale skin.
" Ummm sure...i...i would love to drink something and maybe take a bath "
He said and looked in another direction.

The dark-furred lioness gave another chuckle and then pawed playfully at her friend's purple-tinted mane. "Well then, silly, follow me, and I'll show you where you can have both." She grinned, taking a few steps forwards, then swishing her tail coyly, waiting for him to start after her.
"It's not even too far, just past some trees, rocks, a few turns here and there..." Vurumai paused, smirking back at him, "Well...it sounds further when I say it like that, but it really isn't too far." She wrinkled her nose for a second, a big smile upon her features, and then bounced a little further away, sill grinning as her tail continued swishing away behind her.
Vuru was proud of herself, as she'd noticed his blushing.

Kigao pushed away his strange feelings well a female and a male being together like this friends or no friends maybe feelings got involved? Kigao was still a rather silly and childish male that still had to learn things about himself and specially new things about life.
" Ah ok well it's you who is the boss "
Well right now since she knew where this pond was that she wa talking about and Kigao was always so nice and sweet he would barley hurt a fly and he still didn't know how really strong he was since he had never tested his strenght against another male lion or female but Kigao still almost felt like a juvenile a little boy that could fight no one. But those things had to do with his childhood.
" I am sure it isn't far "
He said and wagged his tail.

Vurumai walked at a somewhat slow, relaxed pace as Kigao followed along behind her. Her hips and shoulders rolled as that of any other lion would, and she kept her tail swishing, flicking away little annoyances in the form of bugs, and also as a sort of fan, since it was still incredibly warm out.
"It won't be too long, I promise. Then we can have some nice cool water for a drink, and go for a little swim. The water gets really deep, it's a very old pond." The dark-furred female stated knowledgeably as they walked, then she slowed herself, hoping he'd keep walking, so that she could walk beside him.
"I'm not even sure anyone else knows where to find it. It's got some neat looking rocks around it, too." She smiled, looking back at him and lifting a brow, giving him a lopsided smirk.

Kiago followed her it must be harder to have a dark fur...he couldn't tell since he was just cream and white so his coat was better made for protecting from the sun. So Varumai must be very warm...he hurried up his steps a little so he walked next to her instead then he noticed she was pretty small compared to him...hmm that was a little strange.
" Don't say you are sorry it's you that is warm...my fur is light compared to yours "
He said and laughed lightly and tried to look for those rocks she was talking about.

"Alright, if you say so, silly." Vurumai giggled, bumping against her friend playfully, and then making to turn to the right, though facing herself with some low-to-the-ground shrubs.
With a quick glance back at Kigao, the dark-furred lioness leapt over the bushes and then pushed past some broad leaves and then moved aside, to wait for him. "You'll see the rocks when you get here. You've just gotta come through." She called back, her velvety voice encouraging, as she didn't know if Kigao often explored places this confusing, or this often, even.
Another little giggle escaped the lioness as she moved further aside, using the spots and stripes on her body to camoglauge herself, for the most part, in the beshes off to the side of where she knew he'd land.
...And then she continued to wait for him patiently, a smirk set upon her fine features.
