Welcome to the biggest library in the Shi'uil Region! This library is full of vast stores of knoweledge dating from back when people were scratching pictures into stone, to the "present" day's fancy flowing literature. Who knows what mysteries this ancient place can unlock.

Oberon lead everyone inside the massive double doors of the library. Inside was lit by torches and balls of light magic. Shelves and shelves of books reached up to the ceilings and even more stood on balconies. In the cent was the circulation desk, where several young ladies worked busily to help visitors. Unlike some libraries, the City Library was rather busy. Oberon looked at the others. "Welcome to the Theives' Grand Center of Knowledge and Tips," he said professionally.

"That was deep Oberon." Shan said dramatically, hugging Bat's shadow.
Gwen rolled her eyes "Great a library. Not my favorite place in the world but whatever."
James looked around at the ceiling and the all the books. "Holy..." He was in shock.

Oberon smiled and looked at Gwen. "You'll learn to love it," he assured her.
Bat was sufficiently tired of having Shan shadow him. Seeing one hair of Shan's not properly meshed with his shadow, Bat gripped it and peeled Shan away. "It is time to materialize now," he said seriously.
De'Gelis looked at James. "Never seen a library before? Please tell me that you can read, lieutenant," he said sarcastically.
Imuyenne too was in awe, but assassin training had taught her how to hide the extremes of her emotions.

"Im sure." Gwen retorted
"Ow Ow Ow! Ok Ok!" Shan materialized with a huff. He rubbed his head. "That was not nice."
James turned slowly to De "Probably better than you, the military doesn't accept illiterates." He said simply

Oberon chuckled. "This way, guys," he said and began walking towards the circulation desk.
Bat chuckled softly and followed Oberon.
"Could have fooled me," De retored. Imuyenne rolled her eyes in disgust. It figured that those two wouldn't get along for a very long time.

James shrugged "Well what can you expect out of a dog." He started after Oberon glancing at Imuyenne for a brief moment then turning away.
Shan straightened his clothing. "Rude." He said and walked with the group
Gwen walked beside Oberon allowing him to guide her as well as the others through the library to the desk.

De'Gelis growled and went to go after him, but a gentle hand on his chest stopped him. He looked at Imuyenne. "Have your way with him elsewhere, we do not want to cause a spectacle of ourselves here," she said. De nodded in understanding.
As they approached the desk, it was obvious who was in charge. A young woman with curly, shoulder-length dark brown hair, slightly tanned skin with eyes the color of liquid amber, wearing a purple chinese styled shin length dress with gold embroidery, stood giving directions to a young teen of where to find cookbooks. Oberon waved to her as she looked up, and she smiled at him. "Oberon, long time no see," she said happily.

Shan looked at the front desk and stopped dead. "Oh my...she's...she's" he was struck dumb, his jaw came unhinged as he saw the Librarian.
Gwen followed Oberon to the desk. Giving Shan a look of disgust. -subtle Shan real subtle-
James stopped next to Gwen at the Desk waiting to see what Oberon would do. He glanced around to look at Bat.

Oberon smiled at the librarian. "Hello, Tawni," he said cheerfully. The librarian, Tawni Illusa, smiled broadly. "Nice to see you survived both raids," she said casually. Oberon rolled his eyes. "I wouldn't have if it hadn't been for these guys," he said waving his hand at everyone who was with him. Tawni bowed her head to them. "Pleasure to meet you all. What can I help you with?" she asked.

Gwen returned the bow and smiled at Tawni. She seemed nice enough and maybe even trustworthy. If she knew about the raids then this "research" might just be accurate.
James gave her a slight salute not drastic enough to draw attention to the fact he was a soldier but enough to show a respectful greeting.

Oberon's face became serious. "We have a bit of a problem Tawni, you know why the Emperor is having all these raids right?" he asked. Tawni nodded. "He's looking for someone, she's a threat to him," she replied.
"Why?" Imuyenne asked.
Tawni looked at her. "That, unfortunately is something I do not know."

Gwen clenched her fist "Great, well this was pointless. Shan stop gawking."
Shan shut his fish mouth quickly embareced at his reaction to Tawni.
James's brow furrowed "Oberon i thought she was all knowing." He said seriously, this was a great disappointment. He looked at Bat "Now what do we do?"

Tawni looked at them incredulously. "I said I didn't know why she was a threat. But I can tell you that there is more to it than meets the eye," she said sharply.
