How on Earth did you get your hands on an Ikaji? I entered a flatsale. It just so happens, that this particular flatsale had only three entries, and mine ended up in Second Place. It was pretty good luck, considering I kinda messed up on the prompt. sweatdrop
Okay, that's pretty cool. So, can I buy Ialu? No! stressed I put a lot of work into this journal, and the entry that won him!
Geeze, calm down. So... Can we roleplay? 4laugh Sure thing! I love roleplaying, and as long as you're semi-literate, I have no problems! Even if you don't have an Ikaji!
Hey! Over half your breedables are under the name LadyNyoko! You're stealing someone's pets! scream No, I'm not. I am LadyNyoko. It just so happens, that my old account got hacked. sweatdrop If you need any proof, feel free to ask some of my friends. Namely Saint Sergio. She can vouch for me, as she knew me under both accounts.
My question isn't here. What do I do? PM it to me, and title your message Ialu: F.A.Q. I'll respond to you through PM and add your question up here. 3nodding

Karma: Surprise Item: Torn Hat Physical Effects: Unknown
Powers: Unknown
Past Life: All documented glimpses of Ialu's past life are listed below. The Dream A show a night, five nights a week. Each week a new town, but the same response. They would giggle at the clowns, ooh and ah at the lion tamer, and groan at the ventriloquist's puns, but the magician was the star. The crowd was shocked, stunned speechless. It was his job, and he was great at it. Card tricks, doves from scarves, levitation, he could do it all, and he did it well. They cheered for more, and he gave it to them with a flourish. Fireballs, the magic box, the rabbit in the hat, he went through every one of his encores, and still they begged for another. He had them in the palm of his hand, so enraptured that they failed to notice the evening's final surprise. The lion tamer was a forgetful man, and the rabbit would make a fine appetizer. The crowd was shocked, stunned speechless, as the magician fell to the ground, four hundred pounds of surprise crushing his skull. Nyoko's First Dream It was hot and humid in the forest, and her sweat was causing her clothes to cling to her skin uncomfortably. She wasn't sure why she was here, why she stayed here... But some strange compulsion carried her forward, along a path that only the animals had ever used, with sweat dripping down her face and her fur flared in an attempt to coax a cooling breeze onto the covered skin. There was something calling her, some string attached to her soul was tugging her ever forward. It seemed like she would be walking like this forever, when a sudden break in the monotonous green scenery alerted her to her destination. There, laying forlornly directly in her path, was a tattered old top hat. She recognized it immediately. Haku had brought it to her only yesterday... What was it doing here? And just as she was reaching forward to close her fingers around the unusually cool satin, a sudden primal scream startled her. Nyoko's Second Dream This night, there was a clearing in the forest. A large tent was erect in the clearing, the perfect size for the natural formation. She was drawn into it, and took a seat among the faceless crowd. She was just in time for the magic show. Atop the magician's head was her hat, perched jauntily on the shadowy figure. He started with card tricks, then pulled doves from scarves... He brought in an audience member to levitate... She wasn't impressed, but the audience was. They cheered and called for more, while she tried to think of what the magician reminded her of... Fireballs were next, then the magic box... A rabbit out of the torn hat. She had yet to realize what had enraptured her... And then, from nowhere, the dark shape of a lion appeared. A roar - the beast pounced... A scream of agony...

She has her second dream, this one set during a circus. She watches silently and tries to put her finger on what the magician reminds her of. The Ring-tailed Lemur (Lemur catta) is a large prosimian, a lemur belonging to the family Lemuridae. The Ring-tailed Lemur is the only species within the monotypic genus Lemur and, like all other lemurs, is found only on the island of Madagascar.
Although threatened by habitat destruction and therefore listed as vulnerable by the IUCN Red List, the Ring-tailed Lemur is the most populous lemur in zoos worldwide; they reproduce readily in captivity.
Physical Description
Mostly gray with white underparts, the Ring-tailed Lemur has a slender frame; their narrow face is white with black lozenge-shaped patches around the eyes, and a black vulpine muzzle. The lemur's trademark, the long, bushy tail, is ringed in black and white. Like all lemurs, the Ring-tailed Lemur has hind limbs longer than their forelimbs; the palms and soles are padded with soft, leathery skin. Their fingers are slender and dexterous with flat, sharp nails. The Ring-tailed Lemur has claws on the second toe of the hind limb specialized for grooming purposes.
The very young animals have blue eyes while the eyes of adults are all a striking yellow. Adults may reach a body length of 46 centimeters (18 inches) and a weight of 5.5 kilograms (12 pounds). Their tails are longer than their bodies, at up to 56 centimeters (22 inches) in length.
Habitat and Diet
Found in the southwest of Madagascar and ranging further into highland areas than any other lemur, the Ring-tailed Lemur inhabits deciduous forests with grass floors, or forests along riverbanks (gallery forests); some also inhabit wet, closed brush where few trees grow. The Ring-tailed Lemur is thought to require primary forest (that is, forests which have remained undisturbed by human activity) in order to survive; such forests are now being cleared at a troubling rate.
While primarily eating fruit, the Ring-tailed Lemur will also eat leaves.
Behavior and Reproduction
The Ring-tailed Lemur is diurnal and inhabits both the ground (terrestrial) and the trees (arboreal), and forms troops of up to 25 individuals. Social hierarchies are determined by sex. Females have a distinct hierarchy but males have a non-linear hierarchy with occasional to frequent rank reversals; females socially dominate male in all circumstances, including feeding priority. Males tend to be marginalized from group activity, and will alternate between troops approximately every 3.5 years. Ring-tailed Lemur troops claim sizable territories which may overlap with those of other troops; up to 5.6 kilometers (3.5 miles) of this territory may be covered in a single day's foraging. Despite being a good deal arboreal, they spend more time on the ground than any other living lemur.
Both vocal and scent signals are important to the Ring-tailed Lemur's communication: fifteen distinct vocalizations are used to maintain group cohesion during foraging and alert group members to the presence of a predator. Male and female lemurs scent mark with their genital regions, which are enriched with apocrine and sebaceous scent glands. Male lemurs also possess antebrachial glands on their wrists and brachial glands on the axillary surface of their shoulders. These glands secrete a greasy substance which is used to demarcate territories and maintain intragroup dominance hierarchies. Males engage in a social display behavior called "stink fighting," which involves impregnating their tails with secretions from the antebrachial and brachial glands, and then waving the scented tail at male rivals. Males will also occasionally wave their scented tails at females as a form of sexual overture; this usually results in the female cuffing or biting the male, and elicits subordinate vocalizations from the would-be paramour. Despite being primarily quadrupedal, the Ring-tailed Lemur can rear up and balance on its hind legs, usually for aggressive displays.
The breeding season runs from April to June, with the female in estrous for approximately 24-48 hours. Gestation lasts for about 146 days, resulting in a birth of either one or two offspring. The young lemurs begin to eat solid food after two months and are fully weaned after five months. Males reach sexual maturity at 2.5 years and females at 19.5 months.
When threatened, the Ring-tailed Lemur has been known to strike out with its short nails in a behavior termed 'jump fighting'. This action is extremely rare outside of the breeding season when tensions are high and competition for access to mates is intense. Only one attack on a human by a Ring-tailed Lemur has ever been documented in America. The event happened at the Minnesota Zoo in Apple Valley, Minnesota after a small boy entered the Ring-tailed Lemur exhibit while on a school field trip and threw a pebble at the Lemur. The boy was scratched and bitten, and taken to hospital. The Ring-tailed Lemur that attacked was euthanized later that day.
