Formed in 1993 as Shaman, the name was changed to Korpiklaani in 2003 to reflect the band's change in direction to a more direct, accesible sound with more 'typical' Folk Metal elements and English lyrics."Korpiklaani" is Finnish for "forest clan". click Here to see a video of them.

Before the Morning Sun, but my favorite song of theirs comes off of Voice of the Wilderness. Nativeland is amazing. The reason i said Spirit of the Forest was because that's the one i have listened to more. Both are stellar albums and either way you cant go wrong.
