I just saw it for the first time yesterday. It's nice to finally find out how he gets his cross shaped scar. I can't help but to feel sorry for Kenshin... what a terrible past. ninja

I saw Tsuiokuhen about three or four years ago. Unfortunately, I only saw the later part, but it was still very intense. I hope to get it on DVD one of these days.

Same here on both counts.
Didn't cry in Betrayal (even though I was sure I would) but did
cry in Reflections.

*WARNING SPOLIER*

Probably because of Kaoru and Kenshin dying, and they are characters
I had followed for 95 episodes.

Trust & Betrayal's probably one of my favorite movies ever. (Okay, I know it's technically not a movie, but I tend to think of it as one since it's 2 hours long....)

I first saw it after watching the entire series. I had loved the series, but I think it was Trust & Betrayal that really cemented by RK obsession. ^_^x

I believe in Jesus Christ, my Savior. If you do too, and aren't scared to admit it, then copy and paste this into your signature.

I finally got Tsuiokuhen on DVD and must say it's really cool in its own rite. It has enough of a story and characters to actually stand as its own story without the rest of the manga/anime ever needing to be told. Just watch this guy fade off into the distance and wonder what happened to him. Of course, if you want to know, you read the manga.

The only thing I didn't like was how they turned Kenshin into this simpering emo kid in the Kekkai Mori and had him just get beaten on by the Yaminobu. I prefer the manga version where he's beating right back on them and dismembering them. twisted

I also didn't like how they reduced Enishi from an active participant in the goings on to an onlooker only.

Both versions of Tomoe's death were so very sad and moving.

I really cried in Trust and Betrayal, though I refuse to let my tears flow on that...that...bleaahhh...other one. (Reflection)

The movie was great yeah, but the Manga........is Sex.

The movie was ok... even though the explanation about the scar made more sense than the manga. I didn't like how they completly skipped the whole Enishi scene because when I watched it I was thinking... "HUH?? Where did I miss that?" And I find out it's in the manga... which of course is better...

Tsuiokuhen is gorgeous and amazing in its own right, but I prefer the manga rendition... little things (like Kenshin showing up at the Ikeda-ya affair, people being able to smell Tomoe's perfume from 10+ yards away) that don't make sense just rub me the wrong way.
