Whos better? I personally think Kikyou is. I mean, Look at her life. She was about 17 or 18 when she went off and became the gaurdian of the jewl. She had a big responsibility and she wasn't allowed to show emotion or feelings. And it hurt(wouldn't it?I meqan you're not allowed to love or care for someone else). Then she met inuyasha. He was the best thing in her life and then Naraku tricked her. She died and sealed inuyasha to a tree. Then kagome came and freeed him and they fell in love. blah blah blah..........how would you feel if someone stole the one you loved? and plus, if you say,"Kikyou is supposed to be dead." isn't kagome supposed to stay in her own era and stop messing around with time. Besides what do you have against Kikyou anyway? Besides "Shes dead". But I already settled that above rolleyes . Anyway,why shouldn't inuyasha and kikyou be together???????? hmm? here is something:
This is what I found in the RAK (Ruthlessly Anti-Kikyou guild) saying why Kagome is Better for Inu-Yasha than Kikyou is.

WHY KAGOME IS THE REAL DEAL:
- Kagome DOES accept Inu Yasha for who he is
- She trusts in him wholeheartedly
- She has not been disgusted by him in any of his states of being (human, hanyou or full youkai)
- She does not ask anything of him
- She wants him to be happy, even if that means not being with her
- She has cried for him and stayed by his side regardless of how emotionally abusive he is...and what a big baka he is to her sometimes
- She loves him and stands by him no matter what
- She has risked her life to save his on many occasions

They present thereself pretty well, but I can still see where they go wrong.

She trusts him? So, when Inu-Yasha goes to see Kikyou, Kagome hides behind trees and spies on them? Thats not trust, thats Jealousy.

She doesn't ask anything of him? I think asking him to "Sit" is bad enough, bossing him around, telling him what to do, thats asking alot.

She wants him to be happy, but then throws a fit and runs home to her safe family when Inu-Yasha goes to see Kikyou just once.

She only cries because she is scared of what he might do to her, not himself, and "Big Baka" What The hell? Are we five year old children now? She treats him like a Pure Breed Dog, and thats just wrong for treating someone you love like that.

She loves him and stands by him, but when a Demon comes, there she is on the sidelines very far away screamin "You get em Inu-Yasha!"

She has risked herself to save him like what, 4 times out of 167 episodes? Thats not alot.

Well thats my opinion, what do you not agree about it?

She says that she would wanna b with him, but never shows her emotions that she wants to b with him.

Kagome spies on Inu-Yasha:
O.K. first of all each time that Kagome saw Inu-Yahsa with Kikyou was an accident. She didn't come there to see if he's making out with Kikyou, but for the plot's purpose she just ends up stumbling upon them. And when she sees them she is too afraid to leave because she thinks she might be heard (You get the feeling that she's afraid of Kikyou?). My advice to Kikyou: if you want to meet your ex do it in a place where innocent bystanders can't see you!

"Sit boy":
That makes perfect sense to me. It is a line often used by screaming fangirls that think Kagome is being mean to Inu-Yasha because she makes him "sit", or even screams and disagrees with him. Um, hello! He deserved all of those! Kagome truly has an angelic patience, because he can be quite a jerk!
Times when Kagome needed to "sit" Inu-Yahsa
- When he tried to kill her in the beginning
- When he looked at her naked
- When he tried to kill the lord of the castle possessed by the toad demon
- When he tried to drop a rock on the well
- Every time he's mean to Shippo
- When he asked Miroku if he "could have them both"
- When he tried to kill Koga
- Whenever he is rude to people for no reason
- When he becomes a full demon
- When he insults her and puts her down in front of people
And the list goes on and on.
Seriously if any of you hat Kagome because she "sits" Inu-Yahsa then you should hate Kaede even more she is the one who put the rosary on him!

Runs off home:
Kagome does go home, and I think that she has done it twice. First time she was pissed off at Inu-Yahsa for wanting to go to hell with Kikyou, although I think that she was angry at Kikyou much more. And afterwards she had a reason to go home. Why? Because Inu-Yasha said something along the lines of "can't I have them both?"
Second time she went home was because she was afraid of confronting Inu-Yahsa. The girl is fifteen years old! She dealt with the situation the best she could -- by refusing to deal with it at all. Still in the end she came back! Heck I would have done the same thing... except I would have stayed home with my head under the covers!
And people lets not forget about how jealous and possessive Inu-Yahsa is! It's enough for Kagome to talk to Koga and he gets all worked up! He doesn't even have a reason to be jealous -- Kagome tolled him that she didn't like Koga that way! I mean how do you explain that? Or is there a double standard here?

Kagome is a coward:
This is also stupid, and probably comes from someone, who hasn't seen many shows. Kagome was the one who defeated Yura of the hair, she saved Inu-Yasha from Sesshoumaru by shooting her arrow, she almost killed Naraku (she would have killed him, but he pulled out the arrow in the nick of time), and the list goes on and on! She's always there when they need her!
As for Kagome not fighting much, well why should she be fighting? She has no grudge against Naraku, she doesn't need to practice her sword, she's there to collect the shards. Get on with the program!

Well since you asked, Kagome. I have had so many people come up to me and say 'Kagome's mean because she sits Inu' and i always have to explain that he deserves it but its usually a waist of breath. And personally, if i were anywhere near those battles i'd be screaming a lot more than Kagome does and I'd be to scared to do anything. Kagome comes in with the sacred arrows whenever they need her to. Also Kagome would never spy on inuyasha. That only happend to enrich the plot. And as for when she runs home, its usually for food, because she has a test, or becasuse she can't confront Inuyasha. And when she is in battle she is not expected to fight. it is her job to find the jewel shards, not collect them.All in all, Kagome is more brave than most people her age, and much more pacience than most adults. In the first movie she sat him 10 times for no reason just because he said to get him some water for the noodles.How stupid is that! Just sitting someone just because he asked for water.Also she sat him just because he called Kaede old.Well it is true she is an old woman. rolleyes



She only shoots her sacred arrows when Inuyasha tells her to.Otherwise she just stands in front of Shippo yelling "Inuyasha,Inuyasha,INUYASHA!!!!"
