He really could have done without Kaleb coming into the office like that without warning. Riley hadn't told them anything about what had happened. Now he was really going to have to work on keeping the scientists away from his mage. It wouldn't be easy but if they learned there was some way to add wings and an extra tail to one of their kind he'd never hear the end of it. Last thing he needed was to worry about finding out what caused it while trying to run a business.
"Riley .... i need to see you about the building specs" Rufus had called Riley and Kaleb back, after listening to Riley b***h for far too long, so they could finish the meeting. The mage had caused a stir when he'd come in and it had taken a moment to make Reno behave so that they could get on with business.
"Yer going right home right? No getting sidetracked." He eyed Kaleb before looking at Tseng. He wasn't sure that Kaleb wouldn't get tired lugging his wings around if he went walking too far.

Kaleb had spent most of the meeting fidgeting nervously. He knew people would be surprised at his new appearance, but he hadn't expected it to affect him so badly. He even ended up shedding a couple feathers onto the floor before the meeting was over.
He was only too happy to nod to his partner. "Y-yeah, I will," he said, offering a weak smile. He would probably go home and curl up on the couch to rest for awhile with a nice book.

"Good. right home." He nodded and headed over to see what Tseng wanted. He could eave his partner alone as long as he was going straight home.
Seeing his chance he slid over to Kaleb and draped an arm over his shoulder. "So ... having fun trying ta get you're clothes to fit around that stuff?"

Kaleb jumped as Reno snuck up on him. He almost pulled away, remembering what Reno had done the last time he had gotten close, but he managed to keep his movement down to nervous fidgeting. "N-not really, I-I had to get my shirts fixed..." Luckily his neighbor was talented with a needle and thread, and had been able to neatly alter all his shirts so his wings wouldn't be a problem. He had refused to fix Kaleb's suit jacket though, he hadn't wanted to try his hand at something so expensive.

"Well then .. seeing as how your guard dog is busy, how about i take ya to get some new stuff? I know some places that'll be perfect." That that also gave him a chance to get Kaleb in some flattering clothing and piss off Riley even more.

Kaleb blushed a bit, and looked like he was on the edge of skittering away so he could portal off and hide from all the attention. "I-I d-don't know, I probably shouldn't..." It was a nice offer, but he didn't think Reno simply wanted to do him a favour.

"Aww come on. Riley'll not have time to take ya and i'm sure he'll appreciate it." Though he might appreciate it it ways that Kaleb wouldn't understand or silently for a while.

Kaleb bit his lower lip. He knew Riley had a lot of work to get through, and the mage simply wouldn't have the courage to go out clothing shopping on his own now that people seemed to stare at him when they first saw his wings and halo. Besides, if Riley would appreciate it, maybe it was okay. Even if Riley wouldn't appreciate his company...
"J-just clothing shopping?" Kaleb asked hesitantly. "Y-you're not going to ask for a kiss or anything, are you?"

"No kisses. Just clothes. Promise." He wouldn't have to tell Kaleb about the other perks of taking him shopping. The less the blond knew the better. Then again the less anyone knew when Reno was involved the better.

Kaleb hesitated a bit longer before nodding. "Okay, I-I'll go with you," he said, even though he still looked a little doubtful. He really had enjoyed the last time Reno had taken him clothing shopping, even if the next morning had been a little... awkward. "Can I let Riley know I'm going and meet you outside?" He asked, not wanting his partner to worry if he wasn't at home where he said he would be.

"He already knew you were leaving. Sides, he's busy with Tseng and he'll get pissed if we interrupt him." He tugged Kaleb toward the door. "Come on .. it'll be a surprise for him"

"O-okay," Kaleb said nervously, letting himself be pulled out of the office. If it was necessary, he had his cell phone on so it wouldn't be impossible for Riley to get in touch with him. He glanced up at Reno, not quite looking like all his concerns had been taken care of. "Do you know somewhere that has clothing that's good for... wings?"

"I know a few places that will make any alterations that ya need. And more i was going for stuff for that." He poked Kaleb's tail, the old one, with a smirk. "Must be interesting with two of'em now"

Kaleb did jump away a bit at that touch, and his ears flattened nervously for a second. "I-it's different, but it was easier to get used to than the wings..." He swished his tails a bit, they felt pretty normal, but he had always had one tail to begin with so two wasn't much different.
