Beere-Augen lay comfortably under a fairly large shady tree. He examined the landscape around him there was a river nearby. . The wind blew by his ear Beere smiled listening to the air as it rustled through the leaves. Beere closed his eyes, the wind was nice today, not bitter chilling and not sickly hot.

Beere wondered what fate had instore for him today. He flicked his tail lazily.

User Image(( no prob! *first posts are icky to start* I think I'ma going to use Airlia and Jasper, they're a weriiid couple but great for shaman quests <3 ))

"Jaaaasper!" Airlia cooed in her native tongue…which probably sounded much like shrilling chickadee. The Steller's jay wolf had yet to see her friend for the greater part of the day…which was odd, considering they usually spent every dieing second together. Where could that silly boy be? She grunted, sitting promptly on her rump and staring at the skies.

There were a small clutter of robins above, chattering about the day's weather...she didn't pay much attention to them. A rusty old hawk strayed to the left, silent, and absorbing the world, politely she chirped a greeting to him, and he nodded a simple response.

It was rare for a bird to ignore her, in fact most seemed to congregate around her. Being raised by the birds, it seemed that she had a special connection to them, despite lacking seer or shaman powers.

It was a little Jay that alerted her of the presence of Beere, and in the matter of seconds all the birds cleared…except for the old hawk…Airlia was pretty sure it took more then a wolf to scare that old man.

She headed a little left before seeing the blue wolf, a silly grin appearing on her face. Four leggers were so silly sometimes, sitting under the tree instead of in it. Again she found herself sitting, her purple and aqua eyes scanning this creature.

"You!" she trilled, attempting to catch his attention, voice heavy with a unrecognizable accent. "Blue four-legger. What you doing?"

(( sorry *gets carried away in rps and drifts a little* xD

Airlia sounds a little funny, but she's not dumb just to explain a little. Wolf is her second language…she mainly speaks in bird O.o; Buuut is good if you want someone to teach your shaman-to-be about the animal kingdom and their language <3 ))

((Np, mmm that would be an intresting skill for this Shaman to have since his domain element is air xd ))

Beere heard something some one calling he couldn't tell. Beere-Augen looked around and blinked hearing a strange and unusual accent, Beere blinked "Pardon me?" he inquired "What did you just say, could you repeat it please?" he caught some of it and knew it was addressed to him. Beere stood facing the bird colored wolf. Her voice was shrill like a bird.

"I'm Beere-Augen" he said he had a slight German accent himself but not compared to his mother Elsig. Red eyes watched the black and blue wolf curiously "May I ask you name?" he inquired of the female and her bird friend. The wind had told him of their coming but he couldn't understand her all that well yet.

(( O rly? That works out great then >D <3 ))

"Do land-birds have no ears?" She giggled, teasing him before getting to her feet and frolicking right up beside the blue creature. He seemed odd from the other 'four-leggers' she had met. Yet she felt safe around him, he had some sort of good feeling…like she could trust him like an old friend, despite only meeting him moments before. "I told you! What are you doing?"

Airlia cocked her head at his question, running it through her head a few times…translating it, then understanding it.

"You Beeeer," she paused unable to pronounce it, but not allowing this to stop her. "You not Beer-Ogman no more." She announce, with her pathetic attempt of saying the wolf's true name. "You now Blue…Blue-fourlegger. Kay?" She nodded, to reinforce this…only to be distracted by the rustling of the tree they sat under.

"I Airlia," she trilled her name happily, sounding as sweet as a songbird…still however looking up into the trees, now slightly frowning.

((Yeah xp))

"I'm not a bird," Beere told her with a grin she sure was an interesting wolf. "I was sitting" he replied finally able to translate what she was saying. "Blue-fourlegger?" he repeated did she always come up with strange names for other wolves. He would let her amuse herself "alright then " he said

"Its a pleasure to meet you Airlia" he greeted tilting his head. Beere noticed the strange wing like patterns on her side. It seemed as though there should be wings there. Beere's tail swayed back and forth contently. She would be an interesting conservationist. "Can you speak to birds?" he inquired, perhaps he shrill voice was because of them some how. He felt that she was linked to them as he was to the air.

"Do you wish to fly?" he said following her gaze skyward.

"Heehee silly Four-legger," she rolled in her usual delightfully content mood. Such a funny wolf, yet she was oh-too happy that someone had the patients to deal with her. "Sitting?" Airlia mimicked…trying to give the same sound, failing miserably as it came out as some low squawking sound. She wasn't trying to mock him…she just found the way he talked so fascinating.

Airlia twirled around to face the same way as the shaman-to-be. Her movements were soft and flowing, almost as if she was flying herself. She had always been light on her feet, probably due to the fact she was such a small wolf. She sat beside him…not as much of a graceful movement…seeing she hit the ground with a rather distinguished thump.

"I'm sitting too," She grinned as always, ears rigid and alert as she listened to his words, again cocking her head.

"Why not speak to birds?" She paused slightly confused, why would she ignore her own species? "Would you not speak to other four leggers?" Airlia frowned slightly at his next question.

"I'm not ready to fly yet," she announced. Tricky little bugger, how did he know her deepest secret: that she'd never touched the air.

(( lol, Airlia's sooo smart, nothing like a wolf who thinks she's a bird xD *has to go for a little bit to a movie, but shall be back later tonight* ))

((Ah it is indeed funny, well see ya latter then.))

Beere-Augen laughed inwardly; she was so far the most interesting wolf to speak to. And she found him off. He kept his clam facade instead of laughing he smiled "You seemed to enjoy my accent" he observed he figured she wasn't trying to mock him and it was all right.

He watched as she sat beside him and faced the same direction as she shaman to be. "I'm glad for your company Airlia." He grinned, "I see that you are sitting now too." A wind blew by him he closed is eyes and let it the breeze lift and then dance through is fur. He always embraced the air and the wind. Beere opened his maroon eyes again.

Her next comment sent him back but he had become used to her shrill squawking voice, all right then that would explain why she was so strange. It was all right he figured "I guess I wouldn’t" he said, ears poised listening to the world around him. Recently he had become more adept at this, his senses had heightened during his becoming a shaman and he was still not yet fully thus.

“Pardon my rudeness of course a bird should speak to other birds,” he added.

If she didn’t find him any weirder perhaps he would help her touch the invisible substance that supported all life on the planet. After all he was attuned to the air and he had learned to control his special shamanic powers quickly afraid to hurt someone if he wouldn’t have been able to.

Airlia cocked her head towards the ice-crested baby blue wolf, her purple and aqua orbs absorbing him. He was pretty for a four-legger, fun to look at, all those patterns going this way and that. His ears were her favorite, she'd start from the bottom, near the head, and it would be green, yet by the time she hit the top, it was blue. How odd.

Accent was a funny word. She ran it over and over again in her head, but decided not to say it. It must have meant the funny way he talked she figured, not that her words were exactly loud and clear either. It was so odd how so many wolves could be speak the same language…yet sound so different.

"You are like an owl, and I am a chickadee," was her explanation to their different accents. Although this came out as a barely audible whisper, something which was odd for the bird-wolf who seemed to enjoy screaming everything.

It seemed odd for a wolf to recognize her as a bird. Her grin grew as she realized that this wolf wasn't one to judge just on the obvious. She accepted his apology with a optimistic chirp, nodding her head.

She continued to watch him, oddly amazed by this wolf. He seemed to be as intone with the wind, she could have sworn he was a bird too. She was so locked in fascination that she gave a startled shrill when Jasper flew over their heads, perching on a uprooted root, and squawking a greeting.

"Jasper!" She squealed happily, getting to her paws and nudging his beak with a large wet nose. Then turning back, not quite knowing if she should introduce.

(( I'm not quite sure how the animal talking powers of seer/shamans extend right now, but I think they have the natural ability to talk to other animals…like further then the brief contact other wolves can have with familiars, more like ones that have them as their native language…although if you have a different idea, please let me know =) *wants to fit your idea best* <3 ))

((I honestly have no idea either sweatdrop I'm just playing this by ear so your Idea is great. heart ))

Beere-Augen heard her whisper and briefly wondered why she was. Airlia had been so energetic about speaking a few moments ago. "So I Am then." he smiled accepting her explanation of their two completely different accents. Her whisper faded quickly and she was back to her loud self again so he shrugged his previous thought off. Beere’s tail thumped on the ground contently.

She was smiling, why? Beere wondered because he was speaking to her like a bird and not bluntly stating she was a wolf and that was the reason she was unable to fly? Me smiled back, if she wanted to be treated as a bird he would comply. To each their own.

Beere made the wind blow toward the grounded ‘bird’ with a subtle movement of his maroon eyes. He had been gaining more control over his powers lately and he was quite pleased about that. Beere had listened to the wind and it told him the bird was coming. He looked skyward just before the bird had announced itself by flying over them. Judging by her reation and the colors of the bird they knew each other

“Your friend or one of your Family?” he asked politely. He would have to ask her how to speak bird sometime during their meeting. Being atoned to the air as he was he wanted to know what it was like.

(( Okay =D <3 ))

Airlia cooed as she felt the wind, her midnight shaded ears still faced forward. She knew the wind…nothing like Beere, however it felt like an old friend. She wasn't quite sure how, but she somehow knew it was the blue wolf. He was special…he knew the winds like any bird…she knew she could trust him, just like she could trust any bird.

She nudged Jasper one more lovingly time before turning back to him. The Steller's jay colored raven cawed once before flapping up to Airlia's shoulder, perching there and staring at the other wolf. She quickly explained who he was to the rather large bird through a series of quick chirps and squawks, then turning back to the shaman-to-be in a attempt not to be rude.

"He's my brother," Airlia explained. Jasper squawked an agreement, although he had little idea of what she was saying. He really hated when she spoke wolf, however didn't complain seeing she had company. The raven noticed the wind as well, staring again at the blue wolf. He was a odd one, even for a four-legger.

"You know wind," she spoke; her voice was lowered now in slight confusion, but not to the extent it was before. "You know it like birds." She cocked her head before adding to this.

"But, it doesn't master you…you master it," birds simply followed the wind…but he was doing so much more…how odd…

Beere nodded watching their interaction. He listened to all the squawkings of the pair in front of him. “A pleasure to meet you Jasper Airlia’s brother” he said to the birth looking to Airlia to translate to bird which he found fascinating. She had such a connection to the creatures that most wolves dismissed as dinner. Beere-Augen would love to learn how to speak like that.

“I suppose I do,” Beere agreed, he didn’t really know it well. It had chosen him more or less and allowed him to master it… but he hadn’t quite gotten there yet. “I am a Shaman” he said “Or well a Shaman to be” Beere admitted shortly “The air chose me.” He said with a smile.

“It gives me aid.” He tried to explain but he himself still wasn’t sure how he was able to do this.

Beere added calmly “Would you be able to teach me how to commune with you kind.” He said still including the fact she thought she was a bird. He decided to completely ignore the fact she was a wolf there was no way anyone would get through to her... But that was fine he figured.

Jasper too looked at Airlia for a translation, blinking his tiny azure beady eyes, and in one jerk of a movement, cocking his head. He could speak little wolf…ironically less then most other animals that harbored in these woods. Never had he spoken wolf to his 'sister', nor would he ever respond to a question around her. It was important to him that she'd stray away from wolves as much as possible, however understood her internal needs to interact with them.

Airlia nodded a vigorous understanding, scaring the poor bird half to death, and causing him to abandon his perch on her shoulder, onto a much safer one on her paw. Lowering her head, she whispered the Shaman-to-be word's on, feeling awkward speaking another language in front of one that at that moment in time, couldn't understand it.

She understood what a shaman was, being raised by a seer*, one who made sure to bring understanding to her of these creatures. Airlia knew of their powers, he had always made sure to drill her of them. She knew that (despite total confusement on her behalf) they learned other languages, quicker then anything she could ever imagine. When she asked, he would simple tell her it was magic…something only a special few carried.

Airlia nodded, unsure herself how exactly she would do it, just knowing he would have wanted her to do it.

"Magic!" she chirped, half because she wanted to assure herself of it, and half because she liked the word, it was a cool word to say. Jasper squawked an agreement, flapping his slender blue wings, gaining enough ground to land on the Shaman-to-be's feet, looking up at him with tiny azure eyes.

"We will teach you!"

(( *sorry about throwing that character at you, the seer was her uncle, and he was the seer of illusion, appearing to her as a bird =) Just incase you were wondering: why the hell would she care about what a wolf said when she was young…or at least grow up to think she's a bird then* xD ))
