It was painfully dreary in the rogue lands. So neutral, plain, and boring. Unlike Jisu, however! He was a greener shade of gray, thank you.
"This area is deader than Mama..." he sighed, rolling those golden eyes knowingly. Jisu got up from the nest of marshy grass he'd slept in for the past 3 nights, and began padding around, hope to pick up the scent of rotting meat, or a fresh kill. He knew how to scare lions away from a kill, although he didn't always know how to do it. The last time he tried to scare them off, he insulted them, calling them pockmarks and overgrown kittens. He'd nearly lost his face with that ridiculous attempt!
A familiar rumble erupted from Jisu's empty stomach, causing his eyes to droop. The hyena looked around wearily; not a single animal.
"Oh gods, if I have wronged you, forgive me, and give me a sign of repentance!" he cried out.

White ears swiveled on her skull as she heard the odd calls of another. "Hmmmm?" She wondered, looking around. She spotted a spotted hyena wandering in the distance, and she raised her bright green eyes to his form. She had been meeting hyenas more and more often lately.
Standing up gracefully, the brightly colored female wandered slowly towards him. He was talking to himself, perhaps he wasn't right in the head? She had met a dog like that before; and hoped to never meet another creature like that.

As the male dropped his head from his original howling/barking position, he noticed a most heavenly figure approach towards him. His eyes widened; who was this enchanting creature? Where did she come from? ... Why was she pink, yellow and orange?
Nevertheless, Jisu cautiously padded towards her, and dipped his head quietly in greeting, before asking, "Are you travelling by yourself, miss... ?"

Toma looked over the other quickly before dipping her head in greeting, followed by a nod. "Yes, as a matter of fact I am." She said with an amiable smile. "I'm Toma. And you are...?"
She figured perhaps he was alright, and she dropped her cautious pose a bit. At least he actually spoke, unlike that dog that just wandered over and started attacking her.
