Some good and bad news. Series 4 of Doctor Who has been commisioned, but Russel is said to be leaving the series sad That's right, our beloved person who brought it back to us is moving on! Here is a quote from Outpost Gallifrey! Quote:  A fourth series of Doctor Who has been commissioned, according to an interview piece with Russell T Davies in the Telegraph. The extremely lengthy article also suggests that there will be a Christmas 2007 special, states that Series Three will start on March 31 at 7pm - and hints that Davies wants to move on from the show, saying he is looking for a new challenge and quoting him as saying: "I've always wanted to adapt The Old Curiosity Shop. I love it. It's about time someone had the nerve to rewrite Dickens. The whole plot is a mess", although Davies ruefully points out that ITV are in the process of doing it.

Good 2 know that there is going to be a series 4, yet should they really be talking more about series 3, we haven't even seen it yet!!
However, RTD LEAVING!!! gonk crying That must not be true!!!!
Nobody will be able to take his role, he was the person who rekindled Doctor Who and created ideas for side stories based around other characters!!
I just hope that doesn't happen, maybe one of the other writers..... sweatdrop

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
But maybe fresh ideas is best. I mean i never thought anyone could better Christopher Eccleson but then along came DAvid Tennant. Perhaps we should give this new guy (or gal) a chance. Then if they screw it up we can all go bash down the bbc and make a picket line and protest til he comes back!
I hope he carries on with torchwood.
