The lone male wasn't lonely anymore. He had a growing love in his heart for the sweet brown female that walked beside him. His recent fling with the spotted male had ended badly and had left the little red male with a scar over his heart, but that was healing just as well as the literal burn-wound on his chest. Shamans could be testy souls. He grinned to himself at the thought that if Futé had been an ice shaman, the lanky male wouldn't have thawed out for weeks.
He shoved the male out of his mind as he thought hard about what he should do next. The female had adored his clearing. The lake seemed to speak to her too, and she enjoyed lazing about on the rock and expressed love for the cozy den he had 'fixed up' for himself, but it was no place for them now. He had had lengthy talks with her about finding a pack and though she expressed no want to return to her birth-pack (and he had no birth-pack), he knew it would be best to find a friendly group to settle in with.
He wished one day to meet her parents, if they still lived, but now she seemed sore about something concerning her family and he did not want to upset her so he never asked. One day the time would be right, or she would tell him herself. There was no need to know right now, right now he was happy and she was happy and that's how he wanted it to stay.
He just wished he knew where she was taking him.
Nitika breathed deeply, taking in the gracious scents of the forest surrounding. She missed the overpowering smell of clear water that clung to her fur and the surrounding atmosphere in the clearing where she had stumbled upon Rochir. He had told her his story, and she had spoken some of herself. It was apparent to her that he was hurting, but she made him get up and get back to life. She worried about him, trying to make him seek out a shaman to heal him, but he refused.
He felt they should move, and she was not going back to her parents without Hannah! It wasn't as if they had sent her searching for her sister, but she felt they might not accept her coming back alone.. or coming back with a male instead of their precious white wolf. She sighed inwardly, a twinge of jealousy over her sister's white coat fluttered through her.
She remembered vaguely a seer who had been kind to her mother in her time of need. Her memory would not allow her to know the name of the seer, but she knew what the female looked like. Mother Loki had told her and her siblings stories about those times, maybe to scare them and keep them from wandering. Well, it hadn't stopped Hannah and it wouldn't stop her! The seer was not the bad part of Mother's stories, so Nitika had no qualms going to see if the seer could help her too.

(( Hope you don't mind me posting ^^ ))
Gizmo's heart felt lighter than it ever had before, but right now he was searching for that son of his. The wolf had run off yet again without telling him where he was going! Okay so he was almost an adult himself, and already showing signs of being bigger than his father, but Giz did still worry for his safety.
Ever since he had lost his mate and other pups he had become protective of Remiel, though he tried his best to let him have his freedom.
He gave a low call between the trees, taking delight in the fresh spring grass that was appearing through the snow. It was bouncy and green under his paws and put a spring in his step.
Then as he reached the stream where Rem often was, he was saddened to find nothing but his own reflection in the water. It was then that he howled, the message clear if one stopped to listen.
~Where are you?~
He dropped his head as the note came to an end, the call, short and blunt compared to some. By now usually panic would set in, but with the presence of his long lost sister, he was sure that Remiel was off with her, getting to know his new aunt.
Not to worry, not to worry...

The sounds of Gizmo’s callings brought the dusty grey seeress out of her saddened ponderings. Her heart hurt for her sister almost constantly now, although she did her best to skirt away the looks as they had a habit of sending her brutish mate on a warpath. Amarette was not well. Well. Not that she had ever been well, but this time it was more troubling. She was starting to go wild in a way that was not in character of her. And it worried Amélie terribly. No matter how much she thrust herself into the darkness looking for her, she never returned with a salvaged soul. How could it be that one person could not save another? Did she not love Amarette enough? Reciprocally, Amélie usually thought most things to be inevitably of her own failings.
But she was glad to hear Gizmo, and not the deep voice of Phib. She skipped about as she moved her way to the stream, splashing a couple of times as the cold water prickled her paws. “Gizmo~!” She smiled.
“You are looking for Rem?” She asked, tilting her head as she approached. “I could-“ And then, her voice cut and she peered off elsewhere, and pricked her ears.
Someone else approaching?

The red wolf halted suddenly, having heard the calls from a stranger. He stepped closer to Nitika, throwing her a sideways glance and woofing low and soft.
"Maybe it was her."
"Her who?"
Rochir's eye's widened at the question. His mate better know who! She was the one leading him to the seer her mother had spoken about. "The seer." he answered, trying not to get too frustrated.
"Well then..." she thought a moment after speaking, then gave a short howl back, a sweet singing 'oooo' filled the air. "We'll go see who it is. Carefully." she nosed the red male's ear and started forward again, if a bit less quickly.

He turned and the moment he set eyes upon the little female, a smile spread upon his maw and the worry seemed to fade - if just a little.
Oh! He batted at the air with his tail as he turned fully and drew forwards, pausing to lower his chest in a playful arch. He was very fond of the female for she did so remind him of his adopted mother. Amy! He nodded and was about to reply when the howl rose up above the trees. He straightened and tilted his head slightly, nose wrinkling as he scented the air.
Gizmo hear...stranger? He questioned quietly, shifting to stand next to his companion. He had always been quite timid and shy and his simple speech rendered from his insecurity as a pup had never left him.

Amélie nodded her head and leaned towards Gizmo, her head gently pivoting in the direction she felt the two individuals. “Yes- I think they are so.” But from them she felt no harshness, and the end of her now faded tail began to eagerly beat back and forth. “We should go see what it is they are doing, yes?”
The grey female walked across the stream carefully. She was regaining a lot of her sight thanks to her mind picking up glances from the world around her projected by other eyes- but she missed small details like slippery stones which lurked to humiliate her. So she crossed slowly, bounding ashore when she had finally made it across.
By now- the two individuals should be very close. “Hello?"

The red male's ears flicked as the small voice came to him, and he pushed even closer to Nitika. Hopefully this was the wolf she had been speaking of.
Taking a calmer stance, the female carried on with Rochir attached to her hip. She had heard the voice as well, and was also hoping that she had finished her journey.
"Hello." she answered, eyes darting to catch sight of the voice's owner. She was ready to find who she sought, and she could tell that Rochir was as well. He seemed more impatient with her and she feared he would refuse to follow her any longer if she didn't come up with someone soon.

He gave a small squeak of nervousness as Amélie crossed the water and quickly jolted forwards, splashing after her as if he were her shadow. He wasn't usually so jumpy, but with his son mysteriously gone he had begun to grow paranoid.
He almost bumped his nose on the little female as she came to a halt and paused, peeking out from behind her to glance into the trees.
Amy think...they are good strangers? Gizmo whispered, ears perking up as he heard the answering 'hello.'
Well they did seem friendly.
