The other day in the hallway Gopher threw his nickel on the coke machine...when they tried to get it back a tpt I'll call Texmex told Gopher that he should climb up it to get it....that's when Gopher yelled "I'm a gopher not a frickn' lizard!"

When the saxophone section leader tripped during the band concert last year.
And when he played his sax upside down for the entire indoor band practice and the BD didn't notice him, because he was just out of his perphiral vision, but the whole rest of the band did and couldn't stop laughing... the BD never figured out why we sounded so bad that day.
And when the bass clarinet's welcome-back-to-the-band balloons got stuck on the ceiling and the BD told the percussionists to get them down and they just looked at him and said "How?" and so the drum majors stole a colorguard flag and put masking tape on the end and stood on two chairs to get them down.
And anything with my best friend (clarinet) and cucumbers (runs from clarinet's wrath), and the hooker clarinets with their own corners, and 'sexy body' saxophone, and...
Yeah I'll stop now. But you made me laugh by making me remember all this. blaugh

Freshman year our band was practicing on the pavement outside the band hall and our trombone player's slide shot off his trombone and skidded along the pavement to the drum majors podium.

I remember after Hurricane Ophelia, the parking lot we practice on was flooded on one side. We called it the Tuningon C. Yeah, lame, I know. We decided to have practice anyways and that didn't go to well.
We were riding on our bus. And a broom was on the top rack-thing. It fell out a window and hit a car.
We found a mouse in our band room. :3 It was near the flutes so we all got up and went to the otherside of the room reeeaaaalll quiet like. And we were all, "Yo, there's a mouse over there." >_> The clarinets followed us and the saxes suddenly had to get their music. The drumline was like, "There is NOT a mouse." And went to go prove us wrong. Most of them didn't bother to take their drums off so when the DID see the mouse, they chased the poor thing into the hall, screaming and throwing giant bass drums, snares, and sticks at the poor creature.
We never saw it again.
Another time, we had this real annoying freshman last year. He really gave into peer presure reeeeaaaaal easy-like. So we told him all the cool people climbed this one tree and the higher you climbed, the cooler you were. He went to the very top and got stucked.

We had a mouse in our band hall during my freshman year that we called Petey Pablo.

This one sax...
He wasn't feeling well during one of my BD's famous speeches...
So he let out the squeekest, longest fart...
It smelled so bad!!!! Everyone was laughing, and the BD didn't know why...
Another time, it was really cold in the room, so I sat next to the convieniently placed heater during one of another speeches.

i had a really bad case of hiccups during class once. lets just say the clarinets were sounding a little staccito that day......

I remembered another moment.
It was after practice and everyone was getting a ride home. This one person's mom came to pick up some people and as she was driving by, this trumpet looks at us real quick and runs into the side of the van and falls over.
The lady stopped, turned around, and looked like she was about to cry. [it looked like someone really ran him over]

There was this kid, and some coke by the BD's office...
When the BD was sick, we had a sub, when she turned her back, he guzzled (and backwashed) the coke...
It didn't look like it was touched...
He was drinking it the time he came back. xp xd

and having your shoes off and your awesome trumpet insructor over there going "squish squish squish squish" in time with the music

Last year at a fb game upstate we preformed during halftime and on one of the songs since the field was so muddy when I slid into my set I landed on one knee in a kneel and got back up.

My friend gave my BD a framed piece of paper that said he looked like a turtle but that was kool with her cause she always had somethin to laugh at. She moved the next day lol
