All of them had been brought here to the mall on Keiji's insistance that they needed... well a lot of stuff to get the house in order. Shin being the helpful guardian he was had provided them with the needed money but opted out of any actual shopping... best he had done was taken Kris with his so that they could shop more easily without the baby. It left him with the demon twins, Yoko and Tsukiko who were already looking around before they had even gotten into any of the stores as if debating on what it was that they wanted for their rooms and Vishal who wasn't looking as if he really wanted to be here, he could have stayed home! He'd insisted on it too but as he was far to young for that, not to mention that Shin didn't trust him he'd been forced along.
"First thing we need I think are blankets and stuff." Until now they had been living in a small, two room place and it was to say overly crowded. Now that everyone had their own rooms aside from the twins they needed blankets for all their respective beds, "After that we will see what else we need." Which was a lot of stuff.
The only bad part about the shopping was that they really had no where to put all of what they bought, no car as Shin had headed for for the moment which meant they had to drag it all around with them... hopefully Shin wouldn't be gone to terribly long, "That all sound good?"
He got a couple of grunts from Vishal and Yoko, they were far to much alike even if they didn't want to admit it, and a enthusiastic nod from Tsu who didn't have a voice for a couple of more hours. A shame as at least he would be helpful and talkative where the other two boys were quiet and... not helpful in the least. Would be lucky if Keiji could keep the pair from killing each other...

Late in the day always seemed to be a bit hectic to go shopping, people rushing around to try to make it to the registers before it got too dark out... it was almost claustrophobic to an extent, and it made MoogerMint tighten her grip on Hajari's small hand, if the event arose that it was needed. With such a flighty child it was reasonable that they may have to make a pit stop along the way so he could regain his bearings in such a noisy and bustling area, but it was good therapy nonetheless. Even so, Moogz wished she could get more free time when it wasn't so busy, and work into it, but such things were hard to schedule.
Hajari was nervous, to say the least. He had developed a habit of biting his fingernails when he was silently trying to hide his fear, only to display it all the more clearly. His eyes wandered around the area, from store to glass-walled store, trying to avert his gaze from the people he knew were probably staring at him. People's vision always seemed to falter on him, such a bizzare appearance in this time and age, and the fact he was so small didn't help matters. He glanced up to MoogerMint, hoping she could do something about the awkwardness in the air, but only found her scanning over a piece of paper that had the list upon its surface, her elemental guardian resting on her shoulder in the absense of the wolves' presence. With a slight whimper, he tugged on her hand to gain her attention, his taloned feet tapping on the tiled floor.
Turning, MoogerMint's gaze fell on the harpy boy only to turn into a mild smile. "It's okay, Haj, don't worry so much. You'll be fine; I won't let anything happen to you, okay? We just need to get a few things. We need some lighting in that apartment, and it wouldn't hurt to have any extra supplies around the house. I need more cooking supplies... and Twilight needs more food. How about this: if you behave yourself I'll get you something nice, okay? You just have to hang in there," she listed before sighing, turning the conversation, hopefully, in Hajari's favor. She didn't like to see the boy so upset, but didn't want to spoil him.
However, Hajari didn't seem to hear her last comment even though MoogerMint was sure he did. His feathery ears twitched slightly, but his face still held his worry. Kitsunetsuki fell from MoogerMint's shoulder, annoyed wit hthe boney-ness of it, and instead accustomed himself to the air. He sighed, not used to such hiding of emotions behind a shy exterior as Hajari was so well-known for. The boy had been with them for a good couple years, but the spirit demon hadn't been with them constantly, even if he had been MoogerMint's guardian long before Hajari's time. The astral plane could be a real pain sometimes...
"Hey. Haji," Kit said simply, hovering above the redhead, hands on his hips and spaded tail flitting from side-to-side. "Relax already! Nothing's gonna come after ya, and nobody will bite! I mean, they're not suppose to..." he said, trying to lift the boy's spirits with some bad jokes.
MoogerMint lifted an eyebrow to her guardian, giving the impression she was going to scold him for scaring Hajari until she added to the comment, "And if they try to, I will beat them over the head with the nearest thing I can reach, even if it happens to be Kit here." Kitsunetsuki flew over to the farthest side away from MoogerMint, preferring to fly next to the six-year-old boy instead of the one who threatened him like that. He chuckled nervously, sarcastically, as he gave her a warning look. However, it did the trick, and Hajari found himself smiling with relief. He just needed to know they were there with him, not just physically.
As they came upon the bedrooms department, MoogerMint looked to the list and said, "Hmm... this should be a good first stop." However, Hajari's eyes were fixated on the people in front of the store rather than the store itself. He tugged lightly on Moogz's hand again, fingernails in his mouth once more, as he recognized the two twins of the group. The kitsune woman looked to the boy before following his gaze to the front of the shop, smiling once she saw them as well. "Well, whaddaya know?" she said. Turning back to Hajari, his intense expression reading to Moogz in his fear, she asked, "You'd rather them talk to you first, wouldn't you?" As he nodded, she shrugged, understanding. "I don't blame you; would be rather awkward coming up to them with so many new faces around, wouldn't it? Well okay, let's head inside then. Looks like they're heading that way as well," she responded, leading them inside. Kitsunetsuki lagged a few seconds behind, giving the group a scrutinizing look before following. Wouldn't want trouble to follow, but they were just kids; it was bound to follow them wherever they went.
