Wow, that's the first time I've ever heard of middle-schoolers going on strike. I hope things work out.
If only you had been wearing your Doctor Who scarf when they filmed you on the podium. You can never have too many shameless plugs for the show!

It's a hate-hate relationship, i don't appreciate it, it don't appreciate me. I think we just got off on the wrong foot, my year 7 and 8 art teacher was a ****** i swear... ah well, me and art have never healed the rift... ask any art, it'll tell you.

I think we just got off on the wrong foot, my year 7 and 8 art teacher was a ****** i swear... ah well, me and art have never healed the rift... ask any art, it'll tell you. I have a terrible relationship with art. I'm sort of like one of those women who are abused by their husbands and still love them. I tell myself, no, this time it'll be different! I can make it work! But then it just gets worse and worse. (Pen and ink! Stippling and inkwash are great, but crosshatching was invented solely to torment me...) And yet I always sign up for art again... but not next year! I love drawing, but just for fun.

I could have gone for art in university but a bit like you Lullabee I love drawing stuff for fun but I just don't want to do it for a living (and I wouldn't be good enough to do that anyway).
So I went for film and TV studies - which is kind of an art. Still, I think anyone who loves art and fights for it is a great person! domokun
