A'nala wandering into the same forest, where the incident happened,and no longer cared. She looked sadly at the forest around here remembering where and when, she was once happy. If she could turn back time, she would. Was it her fault because of the incident? She had reasoned, that it must've been.
Snapped out of her thoughts, by the trickling of rushing water, she realized that she was at the same place, as before. When she was extertaining thoughts of Xanthus, and instead had met him. Staring at the bushes, she half expected Tego to go stomping out like he had done last time. But she was alone now, and so, she laid down resting her head in between her paws. Her eyes listless, drained of all emotion, she sighed.

((Not exactly sure how you wanted it going down? Xan to come across Tego taunting Ana about it? Or the two lions to just come across Tego?))
-Tego streched his muscular limbs outward, shaking lazily as he lifted himself from the bare remains of his prey, leaving little thought to the mess and bit of waste he was leaving. He was full anyway. And the last time he'd offered food to someone it'd turned out bad. Stupid Hivu.
Glancing around the seemingly deserted area Tego pondered softly what to do with the rest of his day, before finally beginning to slowly pad his way through the underbrush. Maybe he'd find something to do if he was lucky.-

The ebony coated male prowled through the thick forest, he'd been in a grumpy mood for several days, weeks even now. Not even Moni had been able to sooth his angry mood, though she'd been there for him, after all she was his best friend.
His tail lashed out behind him, as usually golden eyes danced happily were now clouded with distance.
He didnt even know that A'nala was in the forest, let alone close enough her scent could have caught his attention, but anger flooded his mind.

A'nala, hearing slight sounds of other creatures moving around the forest, perked up slightly. "Mm. Must be one of those other creatures." She mistakenly thought, before settling her head back down, between her paws.
Her mouth, parched with water now, A'nala jumped off the slight ledge, that she had been lying down on, and took a sip of water. Just because her emotonal status was down, didnt mean that her physcial status had to be drug down too. Her landing has made a gentle splash, she took no notice to, that others might've heard her. Her coat, seemingly sparkled with beads, now, and her coat gleamed in the several rays of sunlight that had penetrated the forest.

((Really sorry for the delay dear. But I guess we've got plenty of time until August now. We're going to have to do an acceptance rp too no? Or did you change your mind about the pridelands? :3))
-Ears twitching upwards with sound of splashing water, Tego paused, turning his attention towards the sound. He really didn't want to see Mleli.. but there was a possibility it was Hivu, or something completely stranger to him. Yeah, it could be someone totally new. And since he had nothing else to do... Well a bath could do him well.
Silently making his way to the familar little watering hole, the leopard was literarly stunned when the familar yellow pelt shined through the trees. Was she REALLY back? After what he'd done? What the hell?
Confusion rippled through his mind, and before he knew it a sharp snap sounded through the air.- "Did you really like it THAT much tramp? I can't believe you'd come back for more."

A'nala, her head turned slowly at the familiar voice, felt her stomach churn at the sight of him. Willing herself to speak to him, her eyes glimmered in recognition. Appalled that he would assume that /she/ liked it, she retorted "What? Who'd expect YOU'D come back? Dont look at me. I was here first, if you recall from last time." She gestured to their surroundings.
"But you already had your fun with me, if you so call remember." A'nala said mockingly, no longing caring. "That ruined everything."Her voice emphasizing the last word. "Now, why dont you leave me alone today? Its hard to stomach the sight of you." She made a waving gesture with her paw and turned her back to him, once again.

"Well I obviously LIVE here sweetcakes. So of course I'd be around." -Pulling forward until his toe tips touched the water, he grinned widely, a look most unpleasant as he taunted the lioness crudely.- "Boy I really must have jostled the braincells out of you head with all that pounding, if you don't remember something as simple as that."
-Curiousity had gotten the better of him, why her survival instincts hadn't kept her away was beyond him. But he'd already subconciously decided to stay. He didn't have it in him to violate her again, the way he had before. But he was MORE than happy to make her think he would. See how long it'd take her to break.-
"Fun is not a one time thing my dear. And since you're in my territory once again, it seems I'll be forced to toll once more."

"Live?" She snorted in disbelief. Her perception had just changed. entirely. Flushed with anger at the reference at "last time" and her implied lack of intelligence, she leaned forward to slap him, leaving a red mark behind on Tego's face. "Do not judge me. You dont know me, at all." She snarled in emphasis, her back hair standing straight, as she leaped out of the water.
"Please? Fun? That was one-sided, I assure you." A'nala said giving a scowl. At his later words, she paled slightly, but determinded this time, not to break as easily as she did before. She had lost the most important person in her life, thanks to his actions, but she wasnt prepared to discard her pride.
"I'm not the same as last time." She said defensively, but her body showed signs of unease, suddenly being with him. The shivers, her delayed movements, the tightness of her muscles. They were alone, yet again.
(Hmm. Now for Doodle's post to show Xanthus's thoughts on the matter so far. *goes to PM her* <333 )

(( I am so sorry for my slow response..I shall allow darling Xaki to beat me sweatdrop ))
The sound of voices caught his attention, they were loud enough to snap him out of his deep thoughts, he'd been playing over his last chat with A'nala, he must be a sucker for pain he thought with a snort.
Moving towards the loud voices, he spied a most familiar lioness, and a stranger. He watched silently, brows knit together as he slowly pieced together what was happening, at first he'd thought she had found someone else, until the other brute got a taste of her paw. Then he knew something was off, he waiting silently.
Like a lioness on the hunt, he waited for the others next move. May the heavens help him, if he layed a paw on A'nala..Xanthus would do his best to break it.

-Tego hissed slightly as her paw made contact with his face, nipping lightly as the paw retracted, but he made no attempt to go after it, or give back her aggression. No not yet.
For whatever reason coolness and calm seemed to unnerve and upset so much more. How many time had Hivu frusterated and gotten the best of him with simple verbal skills. So instead he simply laughed, taunting once more, smiling emphasizing on the last word.- "Ohhh.. wanting it rough this time? Kinky slut."
-Purposely disreguarding her words of protest and disgust, he followed as she escaped the water, taking the risk of approaching her once more. She was bigger then her was.. but she was also shivering ever so slightly. Puffing up, he padded in her direction once again strongly.- "Oh yeah? What's different this time? Aren't going to beg me for it?"

A'nala, stopped in her tracks. Her voice, was caught in her throat while she remained frozen. "I want nothing to do with you." She said scathingly. "Dont try to make this into something else. You continue to delude yourself. If it makes you happy, go right ahead to. " She said, her grin slightly mocking and her voice edged.
Seeing that he wasnt going to listen to her, she resumed her movements. Within good reason, she disliked Tego's voice very much. It had haunted her dreams, along with Xanthus's hurt voice. Sleepless nights, she now slept, thanks to both of them. Shaking her head to clear her thoughts, she reminded herself that Tego was still behind her. A'nala hated the fac,t that Tego knew what she was feeling. Fear. "What's different this time, I wonder?" she said wearily, recalling events. "I've lost everything that matters." Her voice, filled with bitter and regret. "And now you persist to bother me? What is it that you want?" Her voice now accusing. "Power? Superiority? Or is it the feeling of a bully?" Her tone deliberate now.

His claws bit into the earth, as his ebony fur stood on ends. He wasnt sure how much longer he could stand here and watch, or even listen to any of this.
Xanthus wasnt one to sit by and watch things happen, he was more of kind that got in up to his elbows and made things happen. And this was just one of those times, he could barely contain himself, one more thing happened, he'd show himself, fangs and all.

-The dispair in her statement stung him, echoing back the thoughts that'd racked through his brain and tormented him not long before, as he stood face to face with his past, trying to convince himself not to relive onto her what he'd done to this stranger. But it didn't stop him now, the sting rolling off of him as ineffectually as her slap had.
She'd pinned it. Strength, superority, power.. anything to make him never have to be again what he was as a child. Never again have to crawl away near death simply for showing his love and his weakness.
Tego bristled with anger as he tried to brush away the offending memories, raging at the lioness' stupidity.- "Go right ahead?" -His eyes bored into her back. He'd pegged her right as a slut.-
-A warning growl rippled through his throat, spitting further insult at her later comment.- "You think I'd really want to waste my time and taint my body with some loser nobody?"
-Voice rising to a feminine pitch, he mocked back in disgust.- "I've lost everythinggg." "Weakling waste of flesh" -He spat at her.-

Noticing the anger, and all the signs emitting from Tego, she braced herself, but nevertheless still flinched, as the spit landed on her. She supposed that she deserved it, because it was never right to fling insults at somebody. But she would apologize to this leopard, she would never. As the thoughts brewed in her head, she could've sworn that she felt something different in the air. Something that didnt belong to A'nala or Tego. Brushing it off, as part of her imagination, she made a scowl at Tego. "You have before. Why, I'm even surprised that you finally make this realization now." And as he imitated her, she reeled inwardly inside. Knowing it was one thing, but having it said, just made it all the more too real, for her to handle. Her composure was clearly more shaken at this comment than any of his others, and she shivered slightly, looking at the ground instead of Tego.

He couldnt stand to watch this a moment longer, with a flick of his tail, his paws carried him forward. " Say a word to her once more, and you'll regret ever meeting her.." Xanthus growled, his golden orbs flashed with a fury he'd never felt before in his life.
How dare this...b*****d talk to her in such a way, behave in a way. A snarl ripped into the air, his ebony paws bit into the earth as his claws stretched out, waiting for the taste of flesh. A'nala may not want to have anything to do with him anymore, but he'd not watch this any longer.
Eyes narrowed in on the other male, the leopard, Xanthus had never had problems with leopards before, actually learning a few things from them, he found this one a lowly nothing, not even good enough to be called on.
