well i used to ride a pony called Gypsie. she was the first pony i ever rode! she was fleabitten grey and had a very choppy gait (dont all ponies do?) well anyway she was the first pony that i jumped on and everything. Gypsie died last year from old age.
Then there is another pony called Carana...gawd she is such a lazy butt lol she wouldnt do anything unless i had some sort of whip..(i didnt use the whip to often though) she was a palomino and very pretty but yea.
Then theres the most recent one..she's a welshie called Middy and she's so adorable!! She's very smart and does everything she's told. I have to use leg aids on her and stuff but yea she's an awsome little girl!
(Mind you I do not own any of these i have merely ridden them)
I now ride a 16.4hh Chestnut Part Arab, TB and QH mare called Nelly Bli. She's so chunky i LOVE IT! lol she's so bootiful heart

I used to ride a buck skin pony named Willy after willy wonka and the chocolate factory. He isn't at the stable anymore, so I ride my own horse Shelly. I can still remember that Willy thought he was a stud and tried to get with Shelly.
Shelly is not a pony, but it sure was funny seeing Willy try.

Ah, Ponies...My favorite type of horse. xD
I once rode a pony named Benny for lessons, he liked to test new riders by doing pony sized bucks and tossing us off when we barebacked. xD
Another Pony I rode was Eddie. He was 11 HH and he was just so fat. I rode bareback with just a western bridle over the summer with him. ~-~ Fat ponies are cute.

There is a pony I sometimes ride named Blaise. He has "Personal Space Issues". He always bites or kicks if he gets too close to another horse, and you can't tack him up in his stall or he'll start bucking. He's so cute, though!

There was a pony named Scooby where I ride (he recently was sold).
I rarely ride ponies (they hurt my Napoleon Complex...) but once the other girl in my class was having trouble controlling her pony Penny while I was all hunky-dory on Tobi so the teacher made us switch because she was working too hard and I was working too little (though I wouldn't say that Tobi being awesome is really my fault). So I got on Penny and she runs like she's on twinkle toes and we giving me the trot of death to avoid cantering so I smacked her around in a pissy rage for three rounds of the ring until I got like the shortest burst of canter ever.

I've only had bead experiences w/ ponies. When I first started riding I used to ride ths evil shetland pony. He would buck with green riders any time he was asked to go faster than a really slow walk, and he liked to stomp on feet, and n**. Once I watched him toss my instructor 3 times in a row. That was a confidence booster... sweatdrop . Another pony I worked w/ years later was for a friend. It too was an evil pony, a Quarter pony. She would bite, kick, rear, charge you, and she'd throw herself on the ground if you tried to ride her in a circle.

I started on a pony named Spirit. Actually, he's somewhere on the border of horse. He's old, flea-bitten gray, and has a bouncy trot. xd I rode this other pony named Holeem, and ohhhh he sucked! It seemed like I had to kick him forever to canter, and he stopped randomly. neutral Needless to say, he's not very much fun. Both of them are Arabians. Is bouncy just a thing with them or what?

I decided to ride a feisty little pony named Crackers in a jumper class, while I rode my horse in the hunters, it was the ponys first show, and he did awesome, but as we left the ring, he slammed me into the metal doors. We won a third and a second though, so no harm done, and I stayed on, so it was ok. Very sadly he was a school horse and became broken down and tired within a year, I loved him when he was feisty and wild!

I've never ridden a pony - I've always gotten the big friendly giant horses xD but I've ridden my share of school horses, and frisky green horses.
Though, when I was working in a therapeutic riding stable, there was a nice little grey pony mare named Sarah. She was adorable! so affectionate and calm. Always taking great care of the kids, and someone as tall as me had lots of fun picking out the feet of a 12hh pony! hehe
@horseridergirl2 I learned to ride on a few Arabs, and still love to take out this one cute lil' arab gelding - he's not a schoolie but loveable. I've always found Arabs to have a smooth stride, at all gaits. Now, these were not pony sized - in the 15hh range.
It could be, they had a real short and choppy stride which made it bouncy.
