She had been lying outside in the garden for some time now. The first night had been... Almost terrifying. The plants had tried to grab her and then something had happened. It was as if they stopped because they knew her. But they didn't... This was the first time she'd come here. She came here because of the Big One. The Big One that felt like her.
She rolled onto her stomach, pushing herself up onto her paws as she moved closer to the house. She could smell the Big One in there... Along with the Dark One and the Blue Things One and Two. They were strange... This entire place was strange... But she couldn't leave. Not yet. Not when she felt like she was supposed to be here.

He'd though to take a nap under the table like usual but the feeling of something green staring at him was starting to make the idea seem horrible. He knew it was that stupid little egg that had come home with Jhadia. The thing that didn't talk and always seemed to know more than he should.
Huffing he pulled himself up, glaring at the pup, and headed outside. The little thing didn't like it out there all that much so it was a good bet that he'd stay inside and try to hide from the twins. Though in there meant that Jhadia could find him and he really didn't like her. Well maybe he did and that's why he followed her around until it pissed her off.

She felt something stirring in the garden. She paused, trying to feel exactly where it was coming from. Yes, it was the Big One. It had to be!
She crept slowly through the garden, moving through the flowers that best matched her coat. She had become very, very good at blending in with her surroundings. She had to be if she wanted to observe all of the others... If she wanted to learn anything. If it hadn't been for those two very silly boys she would have still be safely perched on the shelves at the Center.
Now? Now she didn't even know how to find her way back...

He yawned as he headed though the doors and snapped his teeth at a few vines that tried to get to his legs. Most of the plants knew by now not to touch him but some just couldn't keep their parts to themselves. He had no idea how the demon got the things to listen to her in the first place.
Stretching he wandered though the beds toward the back reaches where he knew he could hide from everyone else.

Perhaps it had something to do with a female's touch for she had no troubles making it past the vines that the Big One had just passed. She continued to follow him, watching each of his movements carefully. He was so... Big. Would she ever be that size?
Padding onwards she stopped to wait and continue watching, tail giving an idle twitch behind her. Where was he going? Did he like being alone? Did he know she was there?

He certainly knew he was being watched even if he didn't know who it was. Being in the demon's home he had learned early on it was better to know when something else was around.
Sliding under a large overly green plant he made it back into his favorite hiding place. He could curl up there and nap for a bit hopefully away from everything that wanted to stare at him.

No, he wouldn't even et away from her that easily. Not when there was something about him that made her so very curious. She paused once more beneath the plant, her nose tickled by the leaves looming down at her. It wrinkled and, for a moment, it seemed as if she would sneeze... And then... She did. "Aaachooo!"

He snarled as he heard something sneeze. Damn it couldn't they just leave him alone? Opening his eyes to his second sight he looked around. With the bright green of the plants the small jivvin stood out.
That wasn't the stupid green one. "Cursed brats"

Her aura was a nearly blinding glare of gold when it first appeared and she heard the Big One's snarl followed by the cold tones of his voice. He was mad? The aura then faded to a prickly bristle of jagged bronze complete with little bits of blue static jumping from point to point. She didn't move... She just stood there, starring at him. She'd come this far. No matter how afraid she was she couldn't just back down now. If she did she'd never figure out what it was about him... Or where she was.

He remembered that aura. It was the little girl from the center. The one that the green thing had been bothering. He sighed and rested his head on his paws. "What do you want?"
Best to get her out of the way and dealt with before she decided to cause trouble.

The blue static flickered over her fur again, seeming brighter this time and as close to 'dangerous' as she was likely to get. She didn't understand his words completely and something about his tone was still off. She hadn't made a mistake in following the Big One, had she?

After a moment he recognized something. She was like him, what had he been called, Daewl? Like the b*****d Scion too. Snorting he lifted his head. "I won't bite you."
Whatever she wanted she wasn't going to get answers by just staring at him.

She approached him slowly, giving the air a proper sniff before letting her fur settle against her back. She still wasn't sure if she trusted him completely... At least, not until she stopped just an inch or so away from him, stretching her neck to touch her nose to his... Only to sneeze a moment later, sending her sprawling backwards. That felt funny.

He shook his head and glared at her. That wasn't any way to behave if you wanted someone to do something for you. Rubbing his muzzle on his legs he tried not to grumble. Why did little things always want his attention? Couldn't they go to someone that actually liked them?

She didn't want his attention. She wanted to know what he was and why he felt so strange... But if all he was going to do was glare and snarl then maybe she didn't want it that badly. She sniffed softly as she pushed herself up onto her paws, tail giving a soft swish behind her. She could glare right back... Although her own glare wouldn't be nearly as intimidating at such a small size.
