*Couldn't fit in the title blaugh * [PRP] Melody and Cotton Candy Melody: She trotted happily beneath the trees singing a tune to herself. Her hair swirled gently in the breeze, her sea green eyes bright and alert. She was indeed off exploring once again. There was so much yet to be seen. The Soquili lands were so exciting...it wasn't hard to find the inspiration needed for her music.

Cotton tossed his head letting his long multi-twotoned hair play in the chilly air this fine day. Hooves moving through the drenched earth lined with hunks of mud, he kept perfect composure humming to himself. It had seemed to be forever since the soft pastel stallion had glimped anyone but the herd he wandered about. Snorting he paused listening, someone was nearing his direction. And its smelled very much like a mare too. Standing straight he puffed out his chest awaiting her arrival. Now his day was going to be a tad better, girls always could make a guy in spirits with those beatiful voices.

Melody: She continued to merrily trot along as she finished her song, a smile forming. It sure was quiet and peaceful out here with nobody else around, which seemed nice for a change. It was hard for Melody to stay quiet for long periods however...
She looked around and contemplated exploring in a new area, as this one she had been in a while. Not much was happening. So she was pleasantly surprised when she saw the pastel stallion standing before her. She stopped in front of him, her eyes brightening once more. It almost appeared that he knew she was coming. She enjoyed meeting new soquili...why not talk to him? She smiled happily. "Hey. It's a fine day to be out, isn't it?"

She was escence in the sunshine as her voice flowed outward like a silver chime. He bowed his head as a gentleman would in her presence as she shined so fair.
"Good morning to one so fair. And yes tis a lovely day be out within the bright sunshine." he commented with a charming nod as his eyes deeply set into hers. cyan orbs gazing in awe of another so pink and vibrant. This was turning out to be a lovely day indeed.
Resuming his manners he chuckled with another bow, letting his mane flow with him in greenish pink river. "And what do I have the honor of calling such a graceful lady?" he queried with the smoothest words as ambrosia lies in sweetness on a summer day.

Melody: She listened quietly as he spoke whilst watching him with an expression of curiousity. She felt a sense of awe, perhaps because of having found someone such a stunning shade of pink like herself. He was indeed handsome...he seemed sweet too. She replied to him like her normal upbeat self however, not flustered or made silly by the fact. "I don't know about graceful, but my names Melody." She smiled whilst her eyes continued to brightly shine.
"Seems I was born to sing." She grinned and turned slightly so he could see her music symbol. Her expression changed and she appeared to be thinking back on a particulary fond memory...she stopped after a quick moment and laughed, her laugh sounding rather musical. "How roud of me, I should be asking you your name kind sir?" She said in an amused tone.

Bowing his head with a grin so dazzling he spoke, "I am born with the namesake Cotton Candy fair one so brilliantly shaded as I. But if you like I simply go by the name Cotton" he murmered with a purr to his voice. She was quite enchanting to be colored like the Dawn as himself.
"Melody" he repeated letting her name savor in his tongue, "Namesake indeed for you. I wonder might an angel such as yourself sing for me? I remember my mother green as spring did the same for my brothers and I" he grinned letting his expression fall upon her in a curious yet admirale gaze.

Melody: She grinned as he said his name, thinking how it suited him. "Well Cotton, I don't know if I can match up to a mother's song, but I could never deny an audience." She winked before closing her eyes, getting into her singing position.
She began to sing after a moment, the sound sweet yet bubbly and energetic. The notes came naturally to her as if she had sung the song a million times before, confidence shining in each and every note. In fact, this was a recent song she had just made up. She had never sung it to anyone before. It was simply a song about a Soquili exploring the land and finding their way.
As her voice filled the area, the day seemed to appear just that little bit brighter.
When she had finished, she appeared only slightly tired-even though the effort she put into every song was great.

Listening the stallion beamed realizing there was a glistening gem kissed with the dew of stardom as her lyrical voice carried on like the sweetest songbird. Every note, pitch, and hymn was music to his ears. Thinking back he pondered hearing those in the herd sing to their young and realized the difference of a mother's melody and a song birthed from the very soul, which he took in now like ambrosia.
When she'd finished he smiled with the charming wit he was born with entranced by the siren before him.
"Tis a lovely melody you've graced me with. Ah I used your name, must be something of extra special meaning hmm?" he grinned nodding his head, "Forgive me for I am being like a self absorbed admirrer trying to whoo your loviliness".
If there was one thing Cotton didn't like about himself, when serious his words liked within honesty.

Melody: How she did enjoy singing. She beamed and bowed as she recieved his praise, her cheeks seeming to have turned a rosy shade of red. "I wish with every song I sing to do the name Melody proud." She said in a playful tone. She grinned at his last comment. "No reason to apologize." She said as she nudged at him playfully. She then laughed and asked. "You know I like singing. What is it you like to do hmm?"

He couldn't help but puff his chest out and bow that detailed head of his as his horn carried with him in a deep smile. He spoke quite eloquently seeking approval from the beauty before him.
"Singing I've never attempted for I've never thought myself full of grace and allure as I've just partaken in. What I do fill my life with is breathing inward life's elegant pleasures and the beauty the lies within" he said with an heir of love that twilled about his tongue and words playfully, "Do you too as well seek the beauty in even the most mundane creations"?
Lowering his head to a blossom barely in bloom he smiled upward toward the fluffy light mare standing before him. "A rose may be just a rose but yet can weave a tale about the littlest things overlooked and forgotten. See this bloom nearby how it sparkles and breathes air? Well this one here shall blossom into the other and become even more stunning when it is time. You... Melody of grace and song remind me of that rose that is barely into its blossom" he smiled watching her with his keen eyes taking in her reaction. He liked to marvel in such things for he lived to charm and whoo those he found sweet and very beautiful and yet he never was uncouved to lie or be false in anything he uttered.

Melody: She flushed once more and it was quite obvious, finding his words very sweet to hear indeed. Being compared to a rose... how could she not. "I bet you say that to all the girls." She said with a gentle laugh, not at all serious. "Perhaps you can't sing so you say, but you'd make a very good songwriter." She mused.
She went into a more serious yet still light tone. "It is beautiful how you describe and speak about such things." She said softly as she glanced down to gaze upon the blossom, touching it gently with her nose. "Everything has beauty, even though some choose not to see it." She nodded gently, her brightly coloured mane swaying gently.

He stood there wisking his long tail back and forth over the grass deeply melting into the other that reminded him so much as a flower would that grew before her.
Quite charming in her own respects her music was most enchanting and full of vigor to his ever listening ears. It was only in a correct muse that he should compliment one so fair, if not what would his own father say to ignore something so obvious.
"A song writer filled with hopes and desires," he murmered with a soft contemplation, "M'Lady, I think your words are as beautiful as my own as you speak with your heart, not your mind as others do," he nodded glancing down at the flower she gently touched with her soft muzzle.
He turned his long neck upward toward the sky, then back to Melody "Care for a walk M'Lady Melody, I'd like to hear more of your songs and things that inspire you," he smiled nodding his head in a sweep bowing his front legs and chest toward the ground that his horn slowed tickled the Earth below, "I think we could write a song for your next beautiful memory set into motion."

Melody: She nodded and started to walk along beside him, thinking quietly for some time, though she didn't find the silence awkward at all. "I can sing well yes, but I think it is one thing to sound lovely and another to think of the right words to sing. Sometimes I find songwriting difficult." She laughed softly then stopped and glanced over at Cotton. "Beautiful words come easily to you, so I assumed you'd be good at song writing." She said with a gentle smile.
"It would be nice to have another song." She seemed brightened by the idea. She began to trot along joyfully, as if she had had a sudden spurt of energy. "Many things inspire me but what inspires you?" She asked with a soft chuckle.

He tossed his head back and forth sending a wave of pinks and greens around him like a spread out fan. Shining sparkles glinted within those fabulous tresses as they complimented his pink coat.
Words. Simplicity at its best yet complicated muses some triffled with all their lifetime. Elegance refined wasn't that hard to ponder he nodded.
"Well if a voice that rings like a bell can join with words that compliment and entice that voice, I see a beautiful begining of something destined for greatness Melody" he nodded with a direct soft spoken smile. Charm was his alibi in all he knew and loved.
He turned to face her yet his moved along as smooth and calm as a passing stream, "Inspiration. My own I think is everything around me. A setting of allure and beauty in everything that grows around us. The trees, water, sky earth, are all settings for something waiting. A breath, scent, even a touch are merely tools to say and create what one needs for their thoughts and dreams."
He himself was quite the romantic poet, and even though Cotton was out to impress, he still lived with the passion that was his guide.

((Sorry for the lateness. Been a busy few months ^^") Melody: She watched as he tossed his mane, entranced by it's shimmery beauty. She looked away after a moment finding herself staring.
She smiled at being complimented, listening. Rather then doing all the talking, she found herself enjoying simply listening to him...err and not simply because of the complimenting either. He could speak on toads and it would probably sound amazing. She hadn't ever met another so fasinating. She gazed at him admirably as he spoke about his own inspirations. "As beautiful as any melody by far." She grinned, amused by her use of the word melody.
