Hello one and all.
First off I shall introduce myself, I am Rananteriel the newest member of P-God (The Poll Guild of Doom) like all new members I was scared to post and introduce myself, but soon found that all the members of the guild are welcoming and friendly.
So I thought that it would be nice to find out what was being planned for the event, when I heard there was nothing I made the suggestion that we should have a theme, at first I thought my idea would be ignored, I was wrong to my surprise I was asked to arrange a Theme for our event.
But being the person I am I took that one step further, I've taken the whole event under my wing so that the owner of our guild can worry about other more important things, So consider this a 'Thank you' if you will for accepting a lonely Gaian and thrusting her in to the world of the forums.
Therefore allow me to declare this Thread officially

Event Contests
We have 4 (four!) different contests going on. So there should be one (or maybe more) that will fit you and your skills.
There is the art contest, where you will have to make some sort of art where you involve the guild anniversary.
Second we have a banner contest. I don't know why, but people haven't been making some for us in a long time. Making a contest is a win-win situation: The banner maker might get gold, while the guild gets new, sparkly banners
Third we have the Random Caption Contest. A picture has been provided. Come up with the most witty remark and win gold.
Fourth but not least!... umm... Fourth and least we have the avatar contest. But not just any boring avatar contest(!). We have a theme for the contest. A theme that must be followed to put you in the contest for the vast amount of gold that can be won.
More information about the contests are to be found in the coming posts.
If you want to be involved in any of these contests, then either post it in the thread or send a PM to Rananteriel or Neztnerol, giving a link to your Art, Banner, Caption or your Avatar.

Avatar Contest The theme has been selected to be: "SCIENCE PROJECT GONE TERRIBLY, TERRIBLY WRONG! ARGH!!"This means that you dress your avatar up in the way you think will fit best to this theme. In the end, all avatars will be judged by the guild as a whole and the best one wins the first prize (obviously). If we get more than 10 contestants, several rounds will be held. Art Contest
The art contest will evolve around the Guild Anniversary. So you must draw what you feel is P-GoD, what the guild means to you, the people in it, stuff that shows that this guild is... nice. Umm... and has been around for 2 years now.
you can draw, you can paint, you can make puppets like the mods and let them perform a guild based play written by you, then videotape it and upload it to youtube.com.
Whatever you feel like doing. Art wise that is.
But remember. Try and make it be anniversary-like/let it evolve around the anniversary.
Prizes
1st : 15k
2nd : 8k
3rd : 5k
Contestants
Edit: Taking Nez's real life picture and then making him into a girl will not be viewed upon as art. We will laugh and he will be ridiculed, but it will not be accepted as art in this contest. This is not to discourage you for making such things though. But we just don't want all the contestants making Nez into a girl.

Banner Contest This is quite simple: Make a banner that advertizes for P-GoD. Creativity is highly appreciated. making it interesting and appealing to people who see it elsewhere is a big plus as well. Be as random as you like. As long as it lures people in. The winner of this contest will found in collaboration of the mods. They will vote, discuss, fight or whatever it takes to find the banner creator who deserves to win the most. Due to this being a mod judged contest, all contestants must have handed in their entries to either Rananteriel or Neztnerol by the 18th or March. Just so the mods have enough time to discuss who is worthy of winning. Rananteriel's Random Challenge Aside from the main contests I will also be having a Random Challenge or two, if I can get funds for more prizes that is, for now I have enough for one Random Challenge, thus my first Contest will be a Caption Contest. I would say no ... I think it's only fair that you use the items you have and dress up in them 3nodding
It doesn't matter if it's consiting of cheep or expensive items as long as it is good looking
