We are having our first art contest! The subject is 'The Sport Horse' - that is, a horse and rider engaged in an equestrain sport. The piece is to be drawn or painted. No photos. Rules: ~Post a link to your art piece below. ~Entry fee is 250g. When Antlers gets the gold, you will be considered 'in'. ~One art piece per user ~It may be any medium, but no photo manipulations. ~The subject is a horse, rider, and tack competeing in an equestrian sport like jumping, dressage, pole bending, etc ~The winner shall be determined by a public poll and recieve half the total of the entry fees, with 2nd and 3rd place each recieving 1/4 of the entry fees. So, If I could, I could snap a photo of say a Member of this guild riding my horse in full tack engaged in a sport?
If I could, that would be nice, seeing as I want my best friend who is a member of this guild over to ride tomorrow, and well, seeing as the conditions, I could snap a photo or two. biggrin
Or to say, a snapshot from a friends lesson if possible to do for the contest?

Oh, I should have mentioned - it's a contest for drawn and painted art - not photos. sad I think I will hold a photo contest soon, though.

Ah okay. Well then, I should have member Savanna Baby Boo scan up some of her art this weekend. biggrin She would have a good chance at winning. biggrin
On the other hand, I could scan in my first stained glass window art that I hand painted just yesterday. biggrin

Does it have to include the rider fully. Or can it just be a portion of one - just so you know the horse is being riden.
i.e. A head shot of a horse with the leg and knee roller of an english saddle.
