Nac was wondering the jungle looking for Uncle Tego. To warn him that his mother was on a war path and looking to do some damage. He didn't want his mom to hurt Uncle Tego.
His tail flickered as he paused he'd wandered past the waterfall almost to the outskirts of the Jungle. He didn't want to leave so he climbed back towards the waterfall. He'd heard enough about the dangers so he wasn't about to leave to find Uncle Tego. Maybe his mother wouldn't either.
"Hello!!!" He called looking around for maybe Uncle Tego to answer but if he didn't that was fine too. Maybe he'd make a new friend.

White paws rustled through the underbrush as a small leopard wound his way through the jungle trees. His gait was brisk, tail flicking with his carefree gait, jaws filled with a large fish he had caught at the calm pool, a gift for his mate and their young cub. Surely they would be happy to wake to a fresh caught breakfast.
Round ears flicked, the leopard paused in midstep as a voice met his ears. But it was not Karama or Usiko, then who could it be? Skittish by nature, the jungle cat scurried behind a tree, uncertain o who or what lay ahead he couldn't help but be cautious. After all, what if it were a hyena?
But skittish though he was, he was also highly curiously. What if it was another leopard or a lion? They were nice right? So maybe he'd meet someone nice. Green eyes peeked from the brush, curiously searching for the source of the voice.

A small half black, half purple with a hint of green juvi male leopon managed to make his way near the tree the leopard was hidden behind. "Hello Uncle Tego??? Anyone?" He called looking around.
Maybe he was slightly lost or maybe he was just trying to find where the sent of the other male was coming from, if he could smell it. He sat down and shook his head. "I hope mother doesn't tear uncle tego from limb to limb." He mused as he looked about, "Because there's no way I'm going to find him before she does. Oh well... maybe mother will have it out of her system before she finds him" He nodded.
"Hmmm..." He looked about "Now what to do?"

The small leopard took a step back, shrinking into the jungle green. The creature had approached much to quick for his liking and his eyes darted as he searched for a tree to retreat to. But he paused, it wasn't a hyena, maybe it was okay. But it wasn't a lion either, was it a leopard?
Blinking, he stepped forward again, watching through a small clearing in the trees. He might have remained unseen, but his white pelt was not easily hidden, clearly visible amongst the green leaves that surrounded him.

Hearing the rustle Nac's ears moved swiftly towards the sound and soon followed his head. "H-hello?" He asked slightly wary, He could see some of a white plet and it wasn't anyone he knew.
He lofted a brow, trying to get a better look. "I haven't seen you before have I?" He asked he couldn't tell for sure but he was curious, he got up and took a slow step forward. He was wondering if it'd talk back to him, hoping it was some sort of friendly fellow. That wouldn't threaten to eat him like Uncle Tego had that one time.

He ducked as the creature approached, ears dropped, tail flicking nervously. Most adults would not have felt the need to be so wary of a cub, but Keone was small for a leopard, no larger than an adolescent, and easily frightened. One he was convinced a hyena pup had wanted to eat him, the same reason he was terrified of snakes.
This creature didn't seem aggressive though, maybe it was as nervous as he was. Surely it didn't want to eat him? Giving into to his curiosity, the leopard stepped forward, peeking around the tree enough that his forequarters could be seen, head tilted curiously.
"Are you a leopard?"

NAc blinked at the question, "WEll..... yess and no. I'm part leopard and part lion." He said with a nod blinked, "You're not frighten of me are you?" He asked looking at the leopard head tilting.
It seemed like a silly thing why would an adult be scare of him? He paused and though for a moment before nodding his head, "If it makes you feel any better my name is Narcissus, most people call me Nac." He offered his name, and sat down, hoping the larger leopard would come out in the open.

Green eyes focused on the creature, silent question in his gaze, tail flicking behind him. Part leopard and part lion? Curious nature taking over, the small leopard stepped from the brush, settling on his haunches at the base of the tree he had hidden behind.
"How can you be part leopard and part lion?"
Still very naive, though he had learned much, hybrids was a concept he could not grasp, he barely understood the concept of cubs despite having fathered one. His eyes drifted over the smaller creature. Now that he thought of it, he didn't quite look like a leopard, but he didn't have the tail tuft that lions had either.
"You don't have any spots."

He blinked and shurged. "I'm not sure.... I just am. My mother's a leopard and my father a lion." This had not come up in converstation before and actully it made him wonder why the other asked.
Lookng at his pelt he shook his head, "No... No I don't have any spots. My sisters do around their paws and eyes, if I remember correctly but I haven't seen them in a while so I can't be quoted as right."
He looked at the leopard. "But for who I am I think I'm pretty." He grinned and chuckled for a moment, "What's you're name?" He asked curiously.

"I thought all leopards had spots."
There was nothing negative in his tone, only curiosity, for he simply did not know. His ears flicked, paws shuffling at the concepts he did not understand. Despite all that Karama had taught him, the small leopard still did not quite understand the ideas of family, of siblings, or of parents. He had never known anything but himself until he had met Karama. And though he had learned much from his own cub, he still didn't quite get it, perhaps he never would. But it didn't really matter did it? He understood very well the ideas of friendship and love, maybe that was all he needed.
He smiled lightly at the cub, the fish he had carried laid carefully among the leaves, kept safe for it's recipients. This creature seemed nice, but then leopards and lions were nice, so why wouldn't a part leopard-part lion be nice too?
"My name's Keone, nice to meet you."

Nac shurged, "I don't know, my mother doesn't. Unless they're hidden in her black fur, and I don't think uncle tego does either..." His tail flickered. "You're a bit small for an adult aren't you?" Nac asked curiously, he thought adults were suppose to be larger, or maybe it was just his imagnation.
Tail flickering Nac smiled, "It's nice to meet you to!" His tail flickered as he grinned, "We can be friends if you want to!" He nodded.

"They don't have spots either?"
The small leopard blinked in confusion. Leopards without spots? He never knew such a thing existed; he, Karama, and Usiko all had spots. But then, he had also seen a lion with stripes, so many leopards without spots wasn't such an odd thing.
"Adult? I don't know. Karama is bigger than me, but she's older too."
Was he an adult? Keone had no idea, what did adult mean anyways? Cubs were little leopards, so adults were bigger leopards? He'd have to ask Karama about it later, maybe she'd know.
"Friends, I'd like that."
His maw parted in a friendly grin, tail flicking with a touch of excitement, he was always happy to make new friends.

"Nope, Which my father has feathers and he's got grapes on his tail too So maybe my family is just odd" He said with a chuckle and a shurg.
Tilting her head blinked he pondered, "Welll you look alot like Uncle Tego and he's old, but you seem smaller. Maybe it's just how you're suppose to be." He said with a curious look. "Who's Karama?" Nac questioned.
"I'd like that too." Nac said his tail flickered happily and he grined.

"Feathers? You mean he wears feathers?"
Feathers? Grapes? Lions didn't have feathers, and what were grapes? And why would he have them on his tail? Is that what they called that fluff on their tails? The poor little leopard was just growing more and more confused. Why did this creature say so many things he didn't understand?
"Karama is my best friend, we have a little leopard we take care of."
The grin return to his maw, his gaze shifting for a moment to the fish he had caught for them. There was a look of pride in his eyes, he knew they'd be happy to have the fish. Maybe he could pick a flower for Karama on his way to the den, she'd like that. He just hoped he got there before they woke up, he wanted to surprise them.

"No I mean he has Feathers growing from his back. Sort of like a birds." He nodded softly.
"Oh! My best friend is myself right." He looked down at the ground and sighed. "I don't even have my sisters to keep me company..."
