Well, there's not much to say. The character I generally put out for myself (Lena) is myself, pretty much. Give or take a few things, of course. My name isn't Lena, it's Lauren, but I AM called Lena; It's my name for Russian I. I don't volunteer at the zoo, but I so would love to, and plan on it in the future. Also, I'm not as old as the character is, by one sole year. People, online (and sometimes IRL; not kidding about the S-Curve and Hourglass there >>;; ) are often surprised by this, because I come off, not to toot my own horn, as more intelligent than other people my age. More mature. My mother evens puts me as "14 going on 20 something" sometimes.
Now, of course, I act like a 14 year old sometimes, I guess. It's natural. Whatever.
And, by the way, I do have the little 'ailments' under the health section. Diagnosed, yo. Except for the weak joints, but I know that they suck, so I don't need a doctor to tell me that my joints are bad when I can hear my wrist snap, crackle, and pop like a damn rice krispie.
Anyways, you're wondering, I'm sure, (or not. Probably not) more about the actual me. I'll put some basic stuff up here in case you're interested.
Name: Lauren Age: 14 (almost 15 yay~!) Job: 9th Grade Likes: My pets, animals, fishing, music (Classical, classic rock) Dislikes: Extreme temperatures, eye injuries, when a TV show you really like gets put of for 3 weeks, comes back, and then they make you wait another 9 weeks for a new episode, HOUSE! stare Favourite Colour: Purple Hobbies: Doodling, music, internet, gaming, etc.
Pets: Opus , Misty , Chesie , Anna
Myself: Ducks! Queen Shirt & Poupus (No, my hair doesn't normally fall like that, and I don't normally have it like that. It was just uncooperative that day)

MARCH 9 2007
Beautiful, lush dreams, or gentle darkness were the norm for Lena. Of course she had lucid dreams every so often, and even nightmares, normal things for normal people. Everyone's had a night terror at least once in there life, it's something that's unavoidable.
This night was different. It wasn't like any lucid dream she's ever had. It was all too real, too painful, too choking. The young woman found herself in a barren land, volcanoes jutting from the harsh, burnt crust of soil, rivers of lava running from them like a stream flows from a mountain. The burning heat licked at her, and she could feel it. This didn't feel like a dream.
Her sweat stained against her nightgown as she looked around, tears streaming from her eyes as the soles of her feet burned. She discovered that the ground wasn't completely solid, either, but but more of a thin solid layer over top of a softer, molten layer. Screams didn't come, sounds failed her, she could only look around in pain and terror.
Suddenly, a sharp cracking, a bright flash. A small, almost human looking...Thing was before her. Lena tried to leap back to no avail, the ground shifting slightly and the burned skin on her feet sticking to it. She merely let out the slightest of a yelp and covered herself pitifully with her arms.
She tried to look the humanoid over, but failed to do so before she felt a seering squeeze at her wrist. The creature let out a shrill, sharp laugh, the likes of which sounded like a mixture of a geyser eruption and the crackling popping sound of a raging fire. Lena instinctively closed her eyes, but opened them quickly when she felt nails like white hot irons digging into her wrist.
"Look at me, wretch!" the words hissed into hr mind, echoing painfully as they were spoken. Lena looked down and stared at the speaker and let out a screech, her throat pained by how dried out it was. She saw one of the things she didn't want to; fire. Fire attacking her, hurting her, raging in front of her.
Eyes, orange like glowing embers glared into her big, dark brown ones and seemed so alive, twinkling with a laugh. "I love that sound!" he exclaimed, laughing his hissing, crackling laugh again. His hair, if you could call it that, was a a ball of flames, his skin a bright red, oranges and yellows lighting up every so often as if he were composed entirely of flame, which to Lena seemed like the truth. His feet were long, menacing claws that flexed against the ground, occasionally cracking into it and letting the molten rock slide over them. Finally, he had a rather long tail that ended in a terrible looking ball of flames.
Lena tried to swallow, trying so hard to wet her throat and scream for help, but couldn't. She then attempting yanking away from his grasp, and managed to do so. His nails left large scars along her wrist, but they didn't bleed. Instead of the dark liquid, there was a congealed mass from the intense heat. The fire creature growled and pounced her as she then tried to run, pinning her against the ground. He was smaller than her, but by no means was he weak.
"You think you can get away from me? You're in my realm, girl, and I, Ignatius, shall be your very undoing!" he growled, placing a hand over her throat, his other on her shoulder, and placed his feet so the claws dug into her thighs. He lashed his tail, dragging it against the ground, and to Lena's surprise and terror, the two were quickly enveloped by fire. She screamed out briefly before feeling a hot pressure against her windpipe, shutting her up. Yanking, jerking, struggling, she cried and gasped and kicked to try and get away. "Why?!" she croaked out, her voice marred by heat.
"Because your fear is delicious." Ignatius answered, pulling his hand off of her throat and instead letting flames lap across it. He brought it against her skin, grinning as she croaked when the flames licked at her primitive, mortal body. She watched the flames close in on her and then...
"No!" the shrill scream was heard throughout the house, and quickly an older woman was awake and at her daughter's bed. The covers had been thrown off, the bed soaked with sweat and the pillows stand with tears. "What's wrong? Are you alright?" the woman asked. Lena sat up and nodded solemnly, lying even to herself. "Yeah. I'm fine. Just....A bad dream, that's all. I'm going to take a shower." the girl sighed, rubbing her head. Her mother frowned slightly and hugged her tightly. "Alright." she said, walking out of the room to leave Lena be.
The girl looked at her clock. 5:36 is what the bright coloured display read. 5:36 AM. She sighed and went to the bathroom, inspected herself for burns or any sort of mark, and took as cold a shower as she could stand; something she never did.

MARCH 13 2007
Birthday was yesterday. My God it was wonderful. Sweet 16 and all that, but not really.
Anyways, I'd like to touch on the dreams I've been having. God, they're so....Terrible. Haunting. I could barely even look at the candles on my birthday cake, yesterday, because of them. Why? I don't even get it. Why is this happening? It's more than a damn nightmare, I KNOW that, but I don't know what to call it, and it's not like I can go to someone about it.
Yeah, I'm having the terrible recurring dreams wherein I'm tortured horribly with one of my biggest fears, the burning feels so real, please tell me what it is and what you can do?
"Oh, that's a nightmare." they'll say
"Eat better" they'll say
"Don't watch scary movies." they'll say.
What do they know about anything?
Of course, there's alway me continuing persistantly. It's not like that. It's different. It hurts. It's not my own mind, it's something much more.
They'll all think the same damn thing.
Crazy.
Maybe I am. Maybe I'm just dissolving into insanity.
Or, maybe there are things people can't explain. That, by our universal laws, shouldn't happen.
God I sound like some sort of emogoth kid trying to justify and prove the existance of vampires.
All I know is that I don't like this, and I want it to stop. I want it to stop now. I don't want it to go further.

APRIL 07 2007
Not much to say. Haven't been getting good sleep since this whole thing began, what, a month ago? It's driving me mad. Schoolwork is suffering, work is suffering, life is suffering. I can't even think straight due to being so damn tired. I've been abusing the muscle relaxer I had gotten from my doctor for my back last year, even if the dreams do come, the pain isn't as bad, and my body gets a chance to relax even if my mind is being tormented.
Atleast I'm on Spring Break now, and don't so much have to worry myself with school anymore. Which means I can kind of relax...I mean, I still have my work, but atleast that's just weekends, and I get today and tomorrow off for Easter. On that note, that God for chocolate...Anyways, outside of the problem, everything's actually going pretty well. I do hope that things will not get worse than this, though, because even with how well I'm doing, I don't know if I could handle anything else.
God, my sentences aren't making sense anymore. I think I'm going to go to the bath and meditate for a little bit. Which reminds me, of course, that I have taken up meditating to try and help keep cool and relaxed. It's actually very refreshing, too.
