Quezacotl, remained motionless on top of the fallen log. His emerald colored body sprawled out against the dull brown wood. Occasionally there was a slight twitch of the tail, or a whisker. His ears would rotate on a source of a sound, followed by a peering gold, or amber eye. He gently raised his head to let out a yawn and glanced around the greenery of the forest around him, he then checked to find the sun hidden behind the canopy. “There’s has to be other’s like me…” he mumbled off, before getting back into his resting position.

*One white paw over the other, a young looking lioness walked silently through the threes. Her gold and white body making her look much like a shooting star is she were laying ust right. Her white and gold streaked tail twitched behind her as she walked, dull indigo eyes glanching about every now again, but then looking back toward the ground. She was very quite, very withdrawn in a sence that she didn't seem to care about what happened about her or to her in teh least. Stopping for a moment teh young lion looked about where she was, it certianly was further away from home then she had realized, oh well. She had to get out and away from her companion and his bond. Get out and... Well... Be on her own at least. Shaking her head a little, Dao kept walking not noticing the other strange colored lion she happened to pass on the other side of a bush...*

He wouldn’t have known she had passed, if it wasn’t for an itch on his paw. He slowly rubbed the side of his paw against the bark. He was about to lay his head back down, but that was when he saw what looked almost like a shooting star, wandering in the woods “odd…” he thought to himself, he had to investigate. He crouched low, and seemed to slide off the log. He stayed a few feet away until he realized it was another mountain lion. He then decided it was time to make his presence known. He added a prance to his step so he wouldn’t be silent and begun to approach the gold and white lion.

*An ear turned toward the sudden sound of other paws about her. Stopping, her tail twitching a little, her eyes looking about where she was. One ear turning toward the sound, making her head snap in the direction the other was coming from. Hackles raising a bit she backed off, not knowing if this stranger were friend or foe. Ears pinning themselves back, she had to wonder if it were Bae, or his stupid raccoon friend again, those two were always playing tricks on her and shattering her young heart. Not again, not ever again, she would kill them both before she came to trust them again. Shaking the thoughts from her head she let a soft growl rumble off her tongue letting the stranger know that even in her withdrawn state, she was still able to defend herself...*
"Who choses to approach me?" she asked remaining fight ready. "If it's a fight you wish, then come on, I haven't got all day, lets be done with it so I can get back home in time for my companion's bond foaling and I can protect them." Snarling, not being a happy kitty...

He halted abruptly at the welcome he just got “Maybe something happened to her before?” he considered the possibilities. He quickly regained his composure. His ears that were once flat against his skull were back up. Then he heard her talk, and by the looks of her, she was not yet an adult. “I chose to approach you” was his simple reply and then he finished responding “If it was a fight that I would have wanted, why would I approach you instead of wait and ambush?” he then sat down, and watched her.

*Raising her head up and watching him from teh corner of her eye, she watched the strange lion that had reveealed himself. This certainly wasn't Bae, or his flamboyant raccoon friend. Another lion, one that was a strange color of green. She had to wonder if this one was feeling alright... But didn't push the question, Ears perking up a little she eased off her reflexes a little, but her nerves were stil on edge.*
"You could do as another did, trick me with kindness and then shatter my heart like a clay bowl against a rock." She pointed out jabbing a paw at teh air toward him.
"She wasn't exactly sure if she could trust this new face, he looked older then she, much older. Older ones she had barely come to trust, not after what Bae had done to her. Sitting back upon the ground her white/gold tail twitching behind her, indigo eyes watching teh molten green lion before her.*
"If a fight was not your intention, then what was? And who are you?" she asked tilting her head to one side, "If you wonder of my name, it is Dao."

He watched as she relaxed a little bit, and then listened intently to what she had to say. “Another, were there other lions around?” He gave a puzzled expression at the thought “Where could have they been hiding?” He then switched back to focusing on her. “I was interested in seeing what a shooting star was doing in the woods” he chuckled a bit to himself, how could he have believed that…“I haven’t really seen any others of our kind, since I’ve been here…that’s why I followed you” he paused for a bit. “My full name is Quezacotl but you can call me Queza for short if you would like.”

*Head turning to the side a little, she sat there watching this new face. Her? A shooting star? Well she did appear like one if laying just right, but she didn't think that she always looked like one. A single indigo eye sized up this Queza seriously before easing off her nerved a little more.* "A pleasure to meet you, as for being a shooting star? I may look like one, but that's only because my companion looks far more like a galixy or something." She shrugged leaning back against teh tree she was near to scratch her back. "And what are you supposed to look like? A snake or something?" she asked raising a brow. "Not that it's a bad thing, at least you don't look like an inmachure faliine I had a run in."

He relaxed some more and laid down into a more comfortable position. He managed to keep his attention on her and listened to her. “So you have a companion that looks like a galaxy… is he a mountain lion too?” He asked curiosity on his face. “As for my coloring” he glanced at his slightly metallic pelt “In the area that I came from there was a thunder spirit that was a guardian. I was named after it due to my color and being born on the night of a severe thunderstorm. That is also where I got my name from.” He stretched out slightly “What did this other feline look like? I want to be prepared in case I run into him or her.”

*Dao had to laugh as she was asked if her companion was a lion as well. For some reason she found that funny, nearly falling over to one side she couldn't stop laughing. It seemed a long time before she contained herself and looked back at teh other lion.*
"No, he's a Soquili, one with wings for that matter. He and his pair bond are expecting foals any day now." She still laughed at teh thought of Shihab being a lion. "Do you have a companion?" she asked tilting her head to the side.

He was puzzled when she fell over laughing, he wondered what he had said that was funny, then he was more confused at the mention of the work Soquili, what animal was that? She mentioned foals maybe it’s a relative of a horse. “Ummmm…” still unsure of himself “Is a Soquili… a type of horse?” He still felt embarrassed, at the last question he shook his head “No, I do not have a companion” he grinned at her sheepishly.

*Dao looked at him as she couldn't stop laughing on the inside at this lion, he was so strange yet... Uninformed apparently, but she would do her best to talk to him, unknowingly she was easing out of her withdrawal shell... Just a little anyways...*
"I suppose he's a type of horse, with wings, large tri-colored wings." She sighed not knows how to explain it. "You'll find out when you find one and become bonded to it as a companion and at times a guardian." She nodded.

He listened to her description of her companion. “So Soquili are horses that have wings, are there types without wings, I think I have been seeing lot’s of those types around here.” He then tried to picture her companion… a horse… with tri-colored wings… the color of the galaxy. “Maybe one day I shall find myself a companion and be his or her guardian” he grinned liking the sound of the role. He wasn’t feeling as embarrassed anymore, and now was a good time to learn.
