Rules:
Here are the rules of C.O.S.T.:
- There are, obviously, some exceptions to some of these rules with the The Paradox sub-forum. The sub-forum has a Rules Thread for you to consult to. Every other forum follows the rest of these rules!
- No role play here should be modern or in the future and must have a fantasy element to it. {Except in The Paradox.}
- Cursing is fine, I do it all the time. Violence is fine. Try and keep a handle on it, though. Too much swearing gets really annoying and try not to get too graphic.
-Romance is definitely encouraged but no NC-17 stuff. There is the Gaia TOS to abide by.
- Fire is your light, and there are no such things as guns, light bulbs, ect.
- You don't have to be an expert speller, I am not, but still, try your best please. This is a literate guild, not a place to learn how to spell.
- Anyone can make a role play thread, as long as they show the story to a moderator first so that way we can make sure it goes by the rules. You'll have to send it via PM before you put it up if that's not already clear.
- Make sure that every role play post you make is AT LEAST ten sentences. We don't expect you to count sentences, but just ask yourself: "Does this post look over ten sentences?" It should be fairly obvious what a post above ten sentences looks like, and so it should also be fairly obvious to tell if it's under it or not. Just don't post stuff that is blatantly under ten sentences.
- Try to avoid having OoC conversations inside of the actual RP, there's a reason we have a subforum for OoC threads.
- You must follow a role play's separate rules that have been set up by the creator of the thread. Rules are rules.
Religious and political talk is allowed, however, if anything escalates then the conversation will be stopped. There's a difference between talking about religion and politics and arguing about it. You're not here to convert people or put people of different religions or of no religion down. You can talk about it, not argue or dispute.
- WARNING: DON'T BE A b***h TO MY MEMBERS, MODERATORS, OR ME! I am sick and tired of dealing with people who have to have had half of their brain removed for being so idiotically rude.
- Shonen-Ai and Shojo-Ai are allowed. (AKA boyxboy and girlxgirl.) Some people call it Yaoi and Yuri.
- Each of these rules may be changed from time to time and are effective immediately after we post the changes. If the new rule is dramatic then you will be informed via an announcement.
