PLG members seem to enjoy whining about every pro-choice sig image in existance, but this one is the worst so far.

Basically, it's a thread full of "the girl was an idiot and deserved to die," and JOKING about dead women. So when a fetus dies it's Sunday Bloody Sunday, but when a woman dies it's funny?



I thought they claimed to be pro-LIFE? I guess as soon as you're born or somehow "not innocent" nobody should care if you die.

I guess they forgot that when someone performs an illegal abortion early enough and dies from it, so does that "precious infant." One dead, mourn. Two dead, laugh. VERY pro-life.

Oh yeah, and apparently we're trying to push women into having illegal abortions. Last I checked we stayed true to our labels of pro-choice and never pushed any kind of abortion on anyone. If women have illegal abortions it's not because we forced them into it, it's because they acted of their own free will. Fact is that'll happen without the influence of evil choicers who deserve to die.

I don't get this. There are supposed to be no exceptions for them, all life is supposed to be sacred. I suppose it really is all fetal life, because there are no exceptions to the value of potential life. However living, breathing, feeling people are deserving of death and when they die, it's laughable. How wonderfully consistent, honestly.

Well, if look at things from another prespective, one could argue that there's no reason to have an illegal abortion in country where abortion is legal, such as the US. So, they are poking at the fact that, since this is mostly an US centered place, chances are, the girl trite was portraiting was american, thus, unless he lived in one of the Dakota states (not sure wich), where abortion is illegal, she did have other choices.

Despite that, trite could very well also be simply portraiting an hipotetical scenario where abortion was illegal (wich is what lifers want) and that girl had to resort to an abortion (what they don't want, but would happen, no matter what).

And regardless of the facts behind the signature, or what it's purpose was, their atitude is not to be excused. They say we're as bad as the Nazis, they say we endorse murder, and they say they are pro-life.... Yet, they laugh at the death of others. Guess being pro-life for those that are already here and (gasp!) made a mystake, or a not-so-wise decision, is too much to ask for rolleyes That being said, one of the lifers posting there seemed to need to take a bit of a chill pill. But that's just me...

Disclaimer: I am doing everything in my power to not start crying, so this post will probably have some detectable emotion. If you are in any way insulted by what I say, please suck it up. They have made me upset (And I'm on my period. Double whammy for me.), and I'm going to let it out.

I had a huge-a** post with a lot of contradictions from the lifers, but I've decided against posting it because the content could get me banned.

Yeah, this is like a week or two old so it hasn't completely blown away yet.
BUT, FYI, I made the sig after being pissed at being witness to a long stint of them picking apart PC sigs and then being hypocritical in the making of their own, so I knew that something like the sig I made would get their attention quick and hold it for quite some time.
When it did get their attention, I went in and said stuff that got the whole PLG pissed at me.
And I've been on a hiatus from posting in the PCG since, because I know that it's not below them to use anything I say against me in anyway possible.
Seriously, I was just the trigger, and all I had to do was pull a little and they're built up anger and rath was unleased upon me, I really do not know what they will do if the wound is 'reopened' neutral

Irony of all this? Some of this is coming from those who want to enter the field of pharmacy. Oh joy, more holier-than-thou bullshit from people that are supposed to be impartial to moral conflicts.

I love how they compare sex to all these crazy blown-out-of-proportion scenarios where people are conveniently:

a) violent in nature
b) under the influence of mind-altering substances
c) in situations where they have no condition for exercising bodily integrity, a concept they've completely failed to address in any of the debates

I guess it makes them feel better to ignore the fact that they're the ones responsible for backing pregnant woman into ONE option. Because god forbid that some people realize their capacity to be more than a walking incubator in life. Of course then, those with a love for repression will try to argue that sex is just as destructive and unneeded as drinking or some tripe like that.

Happy Women's Day everyone, despite how much some would like to take a giant s**t on the concept and sprinkle some homicidal misogynism on top. Really, so much for "pro-woman, pro-child, pro-life." Doesn't mean much when the first two are dead by the end of the day due to a twisted need to glorify punishment and suffering.
