A suggestion for our guild as a whole.
Before I was banned, I did own my own guild. Sadly, it never happened, cause I was banned before I was done setting up.
However, I do know a few things about the layouts of guilds. Something that only a Captain (the guild's creator) has control of.
I'm making a suggestion for the placement of sub-forums in the guild. I'm for them coming in, especially since we have the funding for at least four new sub-forums.
But what will they be? That's what I want to suggest.
Main Forum x - This is kept the same. Random topics are created by the Lovelies and Matasoga. The "Welcome" threads and "Overall Guild Rules" are always in here as well.
Sub-Forums
(Note: Title Name Subject to Change.) "Storage Space" x - A sub-forum in which all "dead" and/or repeat topics will go. The same as the "Recycle Bin", we have on Gaia, this is the place where all inactive threads will go. So no thread is deleted (unless it is pointless spam XP ), but instead moved, so they don't take up room in the main forum. Trust me, those topics on the second page, are most likely forgotten already. We should find them a new home. ^^
(Note: Title Name Subject to Change.) "Role Playing!" x - A sub-forum strictly for Role Plays! Role Playing is highly addictive, so it would be wonderful to have our own little sub-forum in which we can participate in multiple stories with our own Original Characters. >w<
(Note: Title Name Subject to Change.) "For The Bothered" x - A sub-forum in which any Lovelie wishes to submit complaints and suggestions to mods and Matasoga. This place will serve for us mods to better the guild, listen to your wants and help you in whatever way we can. <3
That's all I have for now, but remember these are only my suggestions. I want to here your ideas too, you guys. ^^

This is indeed one good idea. I have been tossing around the idea of what to do with all the gold for some time (with it only occuring to me briefly to empty the coffers into my own pocket...Hey, I didn't do it, did I?) I want to put this question to the guild as a whole: What should I do with the money? A sub-forum sounds like a fine idea to me. The idea (that I now like less than the idea of a sub-forum) is this; having a contest and giving it out as a prize. I'm sure there are other ideas out there as well. I would like to hear all of them and get as much feedback as I can before we all come to an agreement. I'm not trying to shoot-down the sub-forum, idea; I think it's great. Will all of you remember to use it? I'm sure 'Avino will continue to do a great job of utilizing it to keep order, but will the rest of you do so as well?

Ahh, great ideas Josh! >w<
But don't you know? Once you donate to the guild, you can withdraw any gold from it. D:
What's there is stuck there forever. Unless, you wish to buy sub-forums.

Eh? Really? That;s the only thing you can do with donated gold?

Matasoga Eh? Really? That;s the only thing you can do with donated gold? Yep, that's it. TwT;;
Actually, I think when you buy the guild, it says it somewhere. I can't remember where, cause it's been so long. But I do remember reading it. =3

Just something I noticed the other day.
Would it really be so bad if someone used the word "pwned" or a similar Internet slang term? I mean, there's a difference between saying "pwned" or "OMG" in a post with otherwise legible typing and typing like "omg pwnzors! lol1 i no u liek stuf like dat!"
Just asking, because they're words and acronyms that can be used recognizably and legibly online. I throw them into my Gaia posts at times, and I have some of the most readable typing I know.

I mean intentional spelling is what really gets me. I mean if its really going to bother you to resttrain yourself then you don't need to, it'll just mildly grate my nerves as I read over it (Unless its that one sentance where you typed above...Were that not an example of what not to do I think I would have to delete it as gouging my eyes out might be my only alternative). Anyway, I don't like seeing internet speak, but I'd rather see it than know that anyone is stressing out over what they're typing. It isn't that big of a deal, really. I might just quasi-good-naturedly heckle you about it in the next post I make on the matter.

I do use that word every now and then, but it's not an everyday thing. I'm just glad to know I won't get banned if I accidentally use it every now and then. 3nodding

I'd never ban anyone just for talking like a retard...Unless I was sure they were doing it excessively, repeatedly, and for the sole purpose of pissing me off.

Another suggestion has come to me!
It was said, that if the philosophy thread passed in page length of the music that, that it would get it's own sub-forum.
Instead of this, I suggest a "Debate" sub-forum. Anything that can is intended to be a serious, long extended discussion, that can be debatable, would be placed there.
And any philosophy thread will be placed there too, since philosophy is a very deep discussion and is debatable.
Other topics can range from religion, the war, politics, abortion, etc., etc., and so forth.
What do you guys think of this idea?

I like any idea for better organization, as I am a neat freak. Just look at the iron grip I keep on the RP organization. As long as everything is easy to read and especially easy to see updates to, I am all for the idea.

Interesting, but is "Debate" the appropriate name for what all of those fall under? We may want to give a bit more thought on the name and present a few more ideas before we decide on one.

Matasoga Interesting, but is "Debate" the appropriate name for what all of those fall under? We may want to give a bit more thought on the name and present a few more ideas before we decide on one. Well, you're right. I wasn't that creative with the name. ^^;;
It would be better to describe it as our own "Extended Discussion" thread. Where debates, philosophies, religious views, polotics, the war and other such topics would fall into this catagory.
It would be interesting on seeing everyone's veiw point on these topics. But it would be neater, to keep it all in one sub-forum. Instead of on the main page.
And remember, this is just a suggestion. I'd like to hear what everyone else has to say about it too. ^^
