After you beat the game and get through everything the screen turns black and it looks like space. Is there anything after that? Also I have heard of alternate endings, do they exist?

yea thats true there is no alternete ending but i heard that if you some how save areis which by the way is imposible then you see cloud and aries get married and have a baby named squall lol ff8

In the beginning of Disc One when you invade the Shinra HQ, there is a hidden movie you can watch by going in through the entrance, going up the stairs and into the upper-right door.There will be a screen on the wall, examine it to see a cool advert for some new Shinra vehicles.

Also, in Disc Two, (after finding Cloud's memory) if you return to the Shinra Mansion and head into the basement/library, you'll see a hidden flashback about Cloud and Zack.

That is for the Playstation 1 verson, I am hear the PC verson has extra endings, but I'm not sure. These are not really ending extraas but hey they aare more cinemas!

Also i have the pc verison, but i don't remember finding the video clip of aeris and cloud getting married

i think the ppl that made ff7 were on something...first...didnt red xiii say he was the last of his kind??? and at the end hes got two kids...wtf?

There is a way to mess with a glitch in the system and "resurrect" Areis as a playable character in battle. Either some button code mixed with gameshark on the PS1. But it buggers up the rest of the game so don't do it. Lags and such.

Yeah, and I noticed that too. Red XIII has kids in the end? Is he hermaphrodidic?

Yeah there is allternate endings ive only seen two the one where u fight sepheroth one on one, or the ending with everbody that makes more sense cause it looks like the begining of the advent children movie. I heard theres more but ive only seen those, i wonder if theres an allternate ending where cloud loses and meteor falls down.

There are many ways we could make since of that scene.
One we don't know if Nanaki's mother was pregnant or not before her death at the hands of the Gi tribe. A cub could have been hidden.

We know that Seto body has been turned to stone. Tears seemed to flow from the statue when Nanaki paid his respects to his father. Because of there long life-span I believe that he was technically still alive. Doubtful that he would ever able to be freed from his stone cage but I am certain DNA would be able to be extracted. Giving slightly more variation then using Nanaki's own DNA. There is a cat like creature that resembles Nanaki's genealogy known as a Behemoth. No doubt cubs could be created using eggs and gene splicing techniques.

Should the above ideas sound too far fetched let us examine this fact. Nanaki/Red XIII believed he was the last. In our travels we had not found another but it does not mean that they are extinct. Over that vast amount of time after the game ended he could had actually found a female. Prehaps one was frozen in a glacier somewhere.

or hell prehaps Aeris through him a bone and sent a female or the cubs back from the promise land.
