The galaxy is a vast and often hostile place. All too many have learned this the hard way. From giant, dangerous organizations bent on domination to single beings of immense power bent on destruction, the galaxy has seen many foes. Of course, where there is evil, there is also good. Heroes have risen up time and time again to bring down the dark forces and restore order to a chaotic universe. These are the Happy Force Teams.

Over the years the Happy Force Teams have fought against the odds, and prevailing against the impossible. But the sad truth is that none of these teams have ever lasted. For one reason or another, they have been dismantled, brought down, or simply faded in history.

The galaxy is in need of heroes once again. Let Happy Force Twenty-Three form and once again protect the galaxy!

Years have passed since Happy Force Nine rid the galaxy of evil, and their stories are all lost to legend and even myth. Since then, many other Happy Forces have formed and disbanded and now it's time for the Twenty-Third installment to take hold.

Taking place many years in the future, HFTT is as open as any of the others were. Create your character however you like and have them join HFTT: a force being formed by Michele Michaels, a woman of extraordinary wisdom and experience, to rid the galaxy of evil.

Name: Rodney Towerdown III
Age: 20
Home Planet: Towerdown Prime
Physical Description: Rodney is of average hight. He has a somewhat boyish face that leads people to believe that he is even younger than he actually is. He has dirty-blond hair that is always kept in a short cut. He has a superfluous third n****e, the mark of all Towerdowns, past and present.
History: The Towerdowns have always been one of the richest families in the universe. A family of nearly-insane inventors, the Towerdowns are the de-facto government of a large artificial satellite named Towerdown Prime. Before any young Towerdown is granted access to the greater part of the family fortune, they are required to spend five years adventuring around the galaxy for the greater 'good.' As 'good' is a relative term, this is not usually much of a problem. Rodney has joined HFTT to serve this purpose.
Abilities:
Wealth: As Batman proved, money is a superpower.
Robo-pack: Rodney's greatest invention that he first created at the tender age of 12 and has tweaked and refined ever since. The pack contains four long, spindly legs that can extend to about six feet. The legs are strong enough to hoist Rodney above the ground. The tips appear pointed, but are actually coated with thousands of near invisible microfibers that enable him to climb a wall in a manner similar to a spider. Each tip also has a secreted ability inside of it; one contains a powerful laser, one a cutting torch, one is capable of releasing a cloud of 'camera spores' that act as a near-invisible camera lens that Rodney can view through his goggles, and the last contains a data-jack for downloading information to the packs on-board computer. Each tip can also spread apart to be used as grasping tools. The legs are controlled through Rodney's goggles, which can also give him telescopic vision and thermal vision. The goggles read Rodney's brain waves and transmit his commands to the legs. The original version of the robo-pack had to be controlled via crank-and-wench.

Name: Syd Traklip
Age: 31
Home Planet: Chamlate
Physical Description: Keeps his appearance looking human with Crimson hair and Green eyes
History: Syd was born to Jackie and Yert Traklip. During the months carried in the womb, a reactor containing a very volatile ore leaked into the air, and was exposed to Jackie. When Syd was born, he was immediately checked for any irregularities. Everything seemed normal, until a slip of a scalpel cut Syd's leg deep. The doctors panicked but after a few seconds, the wound itself healed on its own.
As time went by, and Syd learned of regenerative powers, Syd noticed that his skin started to molt. One day, when Syd was coming his crimson hair, he was thinking of a girl he liked at school. All of a sudden, his hair was caught in his brush and was pulled off like a wig, revealing the same hair as the girl in his thoughts. When he placed his hands on his face in shock and pulled down, his skin fell off and molded into an assortment of small makeup accessories. He had the facial appearance of the girl in his thoughts. He tested this and every time was a success. He decided to keep this a secret from his family.
Abilities: Regenerative capabilities, Chameleon changing skin.

Name: Cassidy Konly
Age: 31
Home Planet: Gondolla
Physical Description: Shoulder length dark brown hair, white skin, tiny freckles on her nose, about 5' 6".
History: Cassidy was good at getting into trouble, thats what landed her in prison for three years. Before she was caught, she ran for four and half, until she trusted the wrong people and they turned her in for the reward. She is now let out, and is forced to do a lot of "community service". She was born to two average-joe parents, but like all HF members, Cassidy was not normal, thats basically where all her problems started. Her power was uncontrollable at the time, if she got mad, or let her emotions get to her, she would have what the Gondollans called an "attack". Electricity was her forte, but not by choice, many an electronic short circuited, because of her. Eventually she tried to control her power by controlling her anger and emotions. It worked to an extent, her parents even tried to get her help in controlling her powers, but when Cassidy got scared or felt threatened, she would shock practically everyone and everything. Eventually doctors assumed that she had too much pent up power and that to release it would be the best way to help her control her abilities. So they put her to work as a battery recharger, power plant supplier and just about any job they could think of to help her release her pent up energy. She got payed for what she did, which helped out in the long run, but the down side was that sometimes she couldn't summon her power to the surface so that she could use it. So basically she would look constipated for several seconds, before turning red from embarrassment. Sometimes she would randomly spark things or people, which spelled lawsuit in big neon letters. She eventually started to be able to control her power much more, she could tell when her body was about to release a bolt of lightening, so she would concentrate and channel that energy into something. She eventually became so good at it, that a clothing line that was started because of her inability to control her power 'Gonsolate' started to go out of business. People were tired of getting electrocuted, or having static-y hair and clothes, so someone took advantage. (Cassidy was responsible for the birth of a clothing company.) Things started to look up for her until she decided to get a boyfriend. Everything was fine until she suspected him of cheating on her. She eventually followed him and found him meeting with a strange woman. She saw them hug and before being able to rationalize it, she emerged from her cover, rage in her eyes and confronted the two. She didn't give him time to explain. She released an electric storm upon him, whether she was conscious of it or not, and basically caused a 'Hamster in the microwave' scenario to happen to her boyfriend. The woman produced a gun and pointed it at Cassidy screaming in fear. She told Cassidy that her boyfriend had come to her to help Cassidy control her powers, that they had a "training program" that could help her, but he wanted it to be a surprise, because he knew how it was for Cassidy growing up, what with people treating her like a specimen, and not a person. He didn't think she would be all that open to the idea. Cassidy felt so cold inside because of what she had just done, she hated what she was, but knew there was no way to change it. The woman said she'd have to turn Cassidy in for killing Rick, but Cassidy didn't want to go to prison, she didn't think she was in control of what happened, but deep down a part of her knew she had some control. She zapped the woman, but not enough to kill her and then ran away. When she was finally caught, they did teach her how to control her powers, probably to prevent her from escaping. They also lightened her sentence from seven to four, because of good behavior and because of her past history of not being able to control her powers when her emotions ran high. ( She had a good lawyer.) Now she is out and has to complete a lot of community service.
Abilities: Electricity, she is good with electronics and fixing them.

Name: Seji Isabella Blues
Age: mid-17
Home Planet: Aquanus Major
Physical Description: A young-looking boy with dark blue ( almost black) hair, blue eyes, and black eyeliner. Wears a blue wizard ( he prefers "mage") hat, collared jean jacket, and black gloves with swirls on the palms. Can be mistaken for a girl.
History: Seji was born to two magic-obsessed natives of Aquanus Major, a planet completely made of water dotted with islands. As he grew up, he learned to manipulate water, and control it to his liking by age 12. Becoming bored with a life drowned in water, he rebelled against his parents and ran away form home to the bottom of the planet, where he practiced how to control ice in a giant tundra of it. After he grasped the manipulation of ice, he left his home planet and traveled around the galaxy, finding weird places and people.. after experiencing diversity in its finest, Seji has started studying Happy Force because of its affects on the different societies he's visited.. plus, there's some cool angel legends...
Abilities: Seji has learned to manipulate water by gathering moisture in the air, and using it for practically ANYTHING, from weapons to drinking sources. He can also manipulate ice, but to a lesser extent.

Name: Wyvra Whim
Age: 26
Home Planet: Kraiid
Physical Description: Standing at about 5’10’’ tall Wyvra is a woman with both humanoid and non-humanoid characteristics. She has a very slender build and parts of her body are sort of plated with fish like scales, which giver skin a shine quality to them in the sunlight. These scales give her skin a greenish blue color to it all over her body and even parts of her hair which is long, dark green, and has pretty good volume to it most of the time, but despite this she is stunningly beautiful often mesmerizing random people. Other animal like characteristics of hers include fangs and the pupils in her eyes which can open, at will, vertically like a cats. Along with scales numerous tribal tattoos cover many portions of her body as well. Seeing as how scales cover most of her body Wyvra doesn’t wear much clothing. In fact, she believes in the natural side of things and thinks clothing can be quite bothersome. Plated scales cover her top half along with a choker on her neck, and bracers on her arms. The bottom half consists of her feet wrapped in bandages except for her toes and a medium length skirt made of dark strips of leather, which drape down at differing lengths. Her right leg is partially wrapped in said strips.
History: Kraiid is a nasty planet and one that was not so kind to such a pretty creature. Wyvra doesn’t know a single thing about her parents, come to think of it she doesn’t even know if she was born or simply created but the fact of the matter is she’s here, so she might as well go along for the ride. At a very young age Wyvra realized that she was a very beautiful person and that she had a unique appearance so she took that idea and went on to perform in random places singing and dancing. As she saw more and more of Kraiid she noticed all of the negatives the planet had to offer, the crime, the biggest and baddest of people, the very toxic sludge of society that gave Kraiid its reputation. She had to put a stop to it. She began a new occupation. Assassin. After all it was easy to get into any place with her appearance simply saying “I’m here to perform for so and so”, she knows what she has and she uses it. Time and time again after every kill it would change Wyvra, and that’s when the kills got easier.
Abilities: A little ways into being an assassin Wyvra noticed something different. The blood of her hits must have soaked into her body, it must have made her darker, a little bit on the sinister side. Wyvra has the ability to effortlessly mimic any surface or substance she comes into contact with and even become part of the surface. Be it the bark of a redwood or a concrete slab or tempered steel she can slip in and out of it and even use it to stab or smash. Even water is possible although it can get a li'l tricky. Once she has mimicked a surface she can re-mimic the surface by memory but still keeps the properties of the surface.

I am Syd Traklip, from the planet Chamlate. I am 31, and I want to help the universe.

Michele smiled warmly. "That's what I like to hear. It doesn't matter your reasons for joining. What's important is that you want to make a difference. Do either of you have any skills or experience in space flight or combat- hand-to-hand or otherwise?"

"My, what an enthusiastic and, erm, self-confident man you are." She turned to Syd. "And you?"

((I'm going to play it off that Cassidy is late for this meeting.))

The ship docked, the hissing and whurring or thousands of years of technology coming to a landing. She was glad to be free of handcuffs and Parole officers. Her Parole officer was name Mandy Fitsimmons. She was a b***h, as were most Parole officers, at least thats what Cassidy heard when she wa slocked up. She got up without order, no one was going to stop her. Mandy had specifically order her to look for a Ms. Michele Michaels. Cassidy assumed it was going to be a friend of Mandy's, and she would be just as bitchy. The loading ramp lowered and Cassiy walked out. She was wearing the civies she wore when they cuaght her, too bad they didn't give her back all her stuff. Stupid cops.

Cassidy watched the ship close up and fly off, back the way it had come. She assumed she would be stuck here breaking rocks, or cleaning out old rotting bunkers until she completed her time. She tunred around and walked to where Mandy had told her and knocked.

Syd allowed his 'sunglasses' disenagrate into dust and he ripped his skin back to his normal appearance
