 Cal soared through the air, almost grazing the tops of trees as she went. brown eye looked down at the ground as she searched for a place to land. "Hmmmm." the Jala spotted a clearing the the thick woods and glided down and landed gently. She tucked her wings to her and glanced around.
"Seems fine...for now." the black mare walked over and laid by a tree looking around the place she had just landed at.

 Noir drank deeply from the stream that snaked its way inbetween the thick trees. The cold water splashed against his white muzzle, tickling his nostrails. He snorted and his ears perked up as he heard something heavy land not too far from his right. With a flick of his tail and a ruffle of his feathers he trotted closer to find out what it was. A black female Jala met his vision.

The sound of hooves made her snap up her head in the direction of the black and white stallion. She gave a snort and idley swished her tail against her flank. He didn't seem to be of any threat. So she'd leave him be, and say nothing, unless he made the first move. It's not that Calypso was shy, she just wasn't one to socialize.

Noir stared at the black coated female with a sence of wonder. His wings fluffed up and he moved closer. He had never gotten close to a female before. "Hello Mi'Lady," he sighed with a dip of his head.

Cal bowed her head slightly to him, in her laying position before lifting it up to gaze upon him. "Hello good sir." She said, giving her respect to the new comer.
"I didn't figure anyone would be so far into this wood." Cal tilted her head slightly.

"I travel a lot," Noir bluntly stated, "By the way, I am Noir. Who are you?" He tucked his legs in and his wings close to his body and laid beside tthe female. His blue eyes sparkled in the bright light and the wind played with his mane.

"I am Calypso, it's nice to meet you, Noir." The black mare said rufflign her wings and resettling them against her body. The stallion seemed friendly so far, she hoped it did not travel downward from here.

"You have a very pretty name," he snorted gently. His blue eyes sparkled. He nudged her black wings. "You are strong aren't you?" he asked. He stood again. "Want to take a flight or something?"

She snorted at his comment and turned her head away slightly. He had nudged her and she frowned lightly. "I am as strong as I can be." Cal said watching as he stood. "But I do not display upon request." She chuckled softly. "I just came down from a flight, but...it would be nice to get moving again." The mare stood and shook off any weariness that might've rested on her and stretched out her wings. "mm, after you."

Noir tenced his back legs and leaped into the air with a fluid movement. His huge ebony and ivory wings pumped with power causing his body to become airborn. His head spun with the cold air. Looking back, he watched to see if she would follow. She proved to be interesting.
