[Location Inbetween Pridelands and Jungle.]
Zuri was bored and decided to wonder outside of the pridelands a bit to see what was outside of the borders of her home. She was headed unknowingly to the Jungle. Although she wasn't sure if she wanted to travel too far outside her homelands.
It was hard to know what to do when one was an adult but yet they seemingly had no family to tie them down to where they were suppose to be. Her tail flickered as her golden pelt wondered over the lands.

 Zuri wandered out a bit from where her mother was resting with her obnoxious brother, Nuku. She knew that if she headed one direction from here, she would find herself in a dark and eerie place, full of large bones and hyenas. She found herself there once before and did not feel any desire to really return on her own. Luckily, she knew better than to head that way.
Zuri also learned one valuable lesson from that whole experience. The importance of knowing the areas around her. It was something she knew before hand, but the trip into those dreadful lands only reinforced that general idea. Looking at the areas around her cautiously, she realized that the lands are relatively safe, although there did seem to be a figure out in the distance, but too far away to make any real identification out of it.
Taking a careful step of precaution away from the figure, Zuri got ready to run if needed. Zuri was fully prepared to run and scream all the way to her mother, she knew that she could defend her. Her mother was a force that wasn't to be messed with, she was very strong and at times intimidating, but overall loving to Zuri and her brother.
"Hello? Is somebody out there?" shouted Zuri out to the figure in the distance as she took another step back in case the need to run presented intself.

 As she got closer she heard a young voice call out to her. "Yes" She said back. Walking towards the voice and wondered who she'd run into.
"Who's out there?" She called wondering what it was because the form seemed small. Much like a cub or other small animal. She wasn't sure where she was so there was reason to keep caution.

"Don't get any closer!" shouted Zuri, now even more worried about the approaching figure. Squinting her eyes to gain better focus on the figure, she was able to identify it as a lioness, but that doesn't mean it is able to be trusted. Zuri knew better than to give trust into something just because of their species.
"Identify yourself first, then I just might introduce myself," commanded Zuri. Although she was only a young cub, it wasn't unlike Zuri to bark out commands, even in a situation as mysterious as the one she found herself in. Besides, she thought it would be best to know who she was dealing with before telling any information about her ownself.

Zuri stopped and blinked. Well dang, now what had she gotten herself into? Tail flickering she twitched her ears looking around.
"Name's Aurizuri, I'm from the Pridelands, I wanted to see what was out here." She paused before going on. "You may call me Zuri if you're friend. If Foe let me leave peacefully I mean no harm." She sat down watching the small figure.
She wasn't sure who or what it was so it was best to comply with 'orders' than not to.

Hrm, this lioness seemed pretty weak. She must have no idea that she is talking with a mere cub. Zuri smiled, realizing she is safe afterall. Taking a few short steps closer to the lioness, Zuri began to speak.
"No, I will not call you Zuri, for that is my name and not for yours to take," said Zuri, somewhat egotistically. In Zuri's mind, the world usually revolved all around her. "Although, I find it rather funny you think I will do you any harm, I was afraid of you harming me. I'm only a cub after all. You're not really afraid of a cub now, are you?"
Zuri snicked quietly to herself. She hoped she was a bit braver than this when she was older. Then again, she couldn't really blame her, for Zuri was afraid herself not too long ago.

Zuri blinked. "I'm sorry, I didn't know it was also you're name. Then you can call me Z if you like." Her tail flickered. A cub oh goodness this was funny. "I was not sure what you were, Cub or not you might've had others with you, I do not know this land and thus I wish not to cause any displeasure."
Her tail flickered, "I'm sure if you were in my shoe's you'd do the same."

"Possible," suggested Zuri, though she thought it unlikely. Zuri always invisioned her older self as a strong and fierce lioness, very brave and not taking orders from anyone whom she does not know or would consider beneath her. It's part of the mindset that went along with Zuri's self-centered nature.
"I think I will call you by Auri," said Zuri. "If I heard your name right, you said your name was Aurizuri, so I will use the first part of your name, if it okay with you. And to be honest, I don't know these lands too well myself. I am usually with my mother, not paying attention to where I follow her to. But do not try to attack me, I will be able to get my mother before you even get the chance to start chasing after me."
Zuri knew, of course, that she wasn't fast enough to outrun a full-grown lioness, but she felt that she should make herself as intimidating as possible, it might put her on an equal level with the adult as opposed to just being viewed as the young cub that she truly is.

Zuri chuckled. "Find Call me whatever you please little one." She blinked oh there was an adult out here, mayhaps the cub's mother would know what's where and maybe could tell her how not to get lost. Because everything was starting to look the same.
"Well would it make you feel better if I met you're mother and she approved that I am not a threat?" Her tail flickered, "Besides I'd like to get my bareings, I almost feel as if I am lost..." She frowned slightly. She could follow her foot prints but they only went for so long, and then the wind would blow them away.
She got up and walked a bit closer to the Cub before sitting down again trying not to seem like any sort of threat. "You seem to have adorrible markings, did you get them from you're mother or you're father?" She asked trying to make small talk.

"There is no reason to meet my mother unless I myself find you a threat," said Zuri. She wasn't even sure if she could find this lioness a threat, she seemed too nice to be threatening. "As for my markings, I would not know. I've never met my father. I don't know anything about him or anyone else from my family aside from my mother. She doesn't tell me much about her past. I don't look like my mother anyways, but I look somewhat like my brother."
"Where did you say you were from again?" asked Zuri, trying to remember what the lioness had said earlier. She remembered the name sounded familiar, though she couldn't remember what the name was or why it sounded so familiar to her.

"Even if I was lost?" Zuri asked, the cub seemed to believe she wasn't a threat which was good, but being lost wasn't.
"Oh? Well I'm sorry to hear that, if it makes you feel any better I do not know my mother." She said laying down watching the cub. She could tell this cub was different from the ones she met in the pridelands, was this how outsiders had to act? If so she didn't much like it.
"I said I was from the Pridelands. Where pride rock is." She tilted her head, wondering why the cub asked this.

"I'm not sure if I really know what or where that is," said Zuri, somewhat embarassed and hoping not to hurt the lioness's feelings for not knowing where she is talking about, which is a place that seems important to her. "If you are truly lost, perhaps just return the way you came from, and if this Pride Rock place is supposed to be well known, even if I didn't hear about it, you should be able to find it. Everyone finds their home eventually, right?"
Zuri gave a reassuring smile, despite how naive she may have been. Zuri, although having experienced the feeling of fright and of being lost, managed to keep confidence that everything will eventually turn out okay. She didn't believe that life could be so terrible from beginning to end.

"Indeed" She said softly tail flickering. "Tell me little one does everyone that lives outside of prides so cautious about whom they meet? Do they think everyone is dangerous?"
She was quite curious it seemed like a dangerous place and she wondered if it was really as bad as it seemed. Her tail flickered softly.

"I don't know, I guess you have to be more cautious," said Zuri, not really knowing what she was talking about. She wasn't familiar with the concept of prides. She knew what they were, but only very little. "I don't know what being in a pride is really like, so I wouldn't be able to compare it to my life."
Zuri wasn't too sure if she liked the idea of a pride, it was too unified and structured, she didn't see a lot of room to prosper or rise into power. If Zuri were to join a pride, she'd be at the bottom with no power, a circumstance that Zuri would certainly not enjoy. Even in her own family, Zuri has some power.

Pondering this bit of information the golden adult nodded. "Yes I suppose one would." Her tail flickered as she looked around.
"Have you seen many places young one?" She asked curiously, having never been outside of the pride's area and only having talked to one maned wolf whom roamed outside of the pridelands boarders she was quite curious as to what one might find here.
